The aisin has no tuning but manual mode works good. My brother has a one tonne 2016 cummins 3:42 with just an intake exhaust and tune and it’s a low 13 in the 1/4. 4wd boosted launch with the manual selector set to 2nd. It will actually start in 1st and shift to 2nd quite well and then we shift his at 32-3300 rpm and it shifts much faster at that rpm. You dyno tuned that truck so if you know the rpm where the power falls off then use that. If the power falls off at 3500 then I would push the up shift at 3500 even though the gear will probably only shift around 3700 you will be in the next gear at the right rpm to make up for that 3:42 gear. Also dont be scared to really load on that converter to boost it up off the line. That big single you have needs the boost built the best you can get it or it will just fall on its face
A true test of that truck would be hooking it up to the trailer they brought it in on, loading the tow truck on the trailer, then see what it would do.
Happy Heathen believe me it will easily tow 20k lbs. with that much power it’s not an issue. Not sure what kinda test that would be. Let’s see if this truck can do what it was designed to do.
I have an '06 2500 with the 5.9. Stock turbo, 50 hp injectors, Home Depot air box mod. Stock CP3 with EFI Live from Adrenaline. I have deliberately left the stock turbo. Before you all cry 4x4 BOOSTED LAUNCH IT!!! This video is "years" old, we know this because he said it was pre asin tuning at the very end of the video. Also look at the MPH on the passes, it got slower with more power! The only way that is really plausible without letting off before the traps is it's being limited somehow. You can totally tell it's being capped around 100MPH. This is because of the transmission side of the tuning, and there is nothing a 4x4 boosted launch will do to fix that. Yes it'd be quicker with a boosted 4x4 launch but not by much because of the MPH truncation would be hit sooner.

@Lassi Kinnunen That isn't true at all. 4wd does not cause power loss and multiple videos on YT demonstrate this. 1) The truck _is_ spinning the tires. Not only does he say this in the video, but I can tell you that my truck with 550whp on 37"s will break traction all the way to 50 mph in 2wd. Maybe you don't realize what 1000+ftlbs of torque to the wheels does to tires? Spoiler: they don't hold, and this is why you have to launch in 4wd to get traction. 2) Launching in 4wd lets you build boost (not 5psi, more like 20) AND put all the power down, which drastically improves 60' times. It's not going to improve his MPH, but his ET will be that much faster; in this case around a full second. With a 15psi 4wd launch, my 8,000lb truck will do 0-60 in about 4.5 seconds. In 2wd that would be impossible as all it would do is a rolling burn out. This dually is no different. 3) The driver isn't very experienced with drag racing a built diesel, so don't blame the truck. But yeah, it's still slow. What do you expect of a vehicle that weighs 10,000 lbs? This thing is made to pull 20,000+lbs, not go fast in the 1/4mile. The fact that it ran a 14 says a lot about the power it makes. Hook up 5,000lbs to your Hellcat or w/e race car and see what happens. This should all be obvious and go without saying... Really this truck is built wrong. A single S467.7 is more suited for a SRW street build. This dually should have a compound setup.
Exactly 4wd high is the only way, also need to break torque to around 2000 rpm in order to build boost for the launch hence why the need for 4wd , he didnt do either which equals a epic fail.
