From Ohio in the states, great channel!! I have a 2017 M240 xDrive, but REALY wish the 1 was available here along with the 3 series wagon. Like what you are doing and even learned some things I didn't even know I wanted to know, lol Getting ready to adjust my headlights up a bit, thanks to one of your other vids. Still on the fence on tuning....don't want to do anything that would effect the longevity of the car, as my son lives in Georgia, about 750 miles from me and NEED as much reliability as I can get for the 2 or 3 times a year we get to go visit. But still...more power.....
Nice video and I like the melbourne red on your car. One note though even stock airfilter and chargepipe are totally fine on a B58, even when running bigger turbo. I've literally never heard of a cracked chargepipe on a B58. On the N55 on the other hand it was a more common issue.

Just don’t put your foot down in the wet with a open diff in sports plus lol or u might be in the nearest hedge to u at the time lol. That must be mega loud in person Iv got decat with standard system no boxes removed and my pops n bangs style 2 but only like 30% n that’s loud I think 😂
Can I ask how do you get started with mods when declaring to insurance? Wanting to do a res delete and stage 1 on my mk7 gti so bad but tried getting for a quote and it goes up £1000 plus!
The crazy thing here, is that a modern BMW, didn't come with cruise 🤯, why wasn't that standard? Or even why didn't the original owners flipping get the option, it's a no brainer...

you dont, its a software tune they wouldnt ever check. They would however check your physical mods when inspecting the vehicle if damaged in an accident.
@@Tantrix1 it’s still classed as a ‘modification’ tho. If anything it’s more important than some physical mods so I’m sure tye insurance company would like to know. I personally don’t take any risk with insurance, every mod down to carbon fibre kick seals are declared. I’m sure Brett would hve declared all his modifications to his insurance company considering he had plastered it all over the internet 😂 I was genuinely curious as I’m booking mine in for custom mapping in the new year so was feeling out how much my insurance may jump by…….

After careful comparison, I'll be going the MHD route! Very excited! Although I'll prob stick with just Stage 1 even with just downpipe.

For stage 2+ on the B58, all you need is downpipe and upgraded HPFP. Air filter is not required.
Yeah I know but always nice to get a upgraded air filter, everyone seems to do it :)

Thought you had a sports cat not a decat? If so will likely burn out your cat using a flame map and selecting the decat option.
Think you should test burble settings and the anti lag set up that be good content and saves me time aswell hahah 😂

Different software required to map gearbox. Engine ECU mapping and gearbox mapping are two separate things entirely.

Urgh a random map via a mobile. Get it properly tuned to what the car is is doing via a dyno and sensors. Defo not the same place as your last motor.
