    The button that you weren't sure of what it does and is on the left side of the dash is for defrosting the windshield wipers when covered with ice or snow. The "B" button by the shifter is for braking the car when driving in the mountains or very steep hills.

    B is for coasting down hill - lower gears instead of using the breaks. You might use it on the grapevine in California or on the way to Vegas. Great for winter days in New England.

      @boedilllard5952 I wouldn't use "B" for winter driving in NE. You are better letting ASC & ABS do their thing.

    Headroom is better if you don't have the moonroof - also lowers the cost, is safer in a severe crash, saves your head and neck from cancer and gives you a spot for your sunglasses. Oh and there is less of a chance of wind noise and water leak - but otherwise it's swell if you are a hirsute dwarf that likes to ride your car with a helmet.

    Is this the first Toyota hybrid you've driven?

      Indeed! I only drive what I can get my hands on it the rental car center. Although I’m not the best car reviewer, I hope you could come out of the video learning something new about the car.

      @Jet_Auto I'm sure I didn't from that review. I've purchased 6 Priuses, so far. If you want to continue doing reviews. Here is some advice. Do some research and read the OM. Also, don't try to explain things you don't understand and don't point out something and say you don't know what it is for, even though you should have because the wiper deicer is common enough. There is no need to draw attention to screwups. The critics will zero in on them soon enough.

    Can this car drive for 7 hours and more during long road trips?

    • @Jet_Auto
      @Jet_Auto  3 месяца назад

      I would safely assume that it can drive for 7hrs straight as long as it’s highway driving and you’re not driving like a maniac.

      @@Jet_Auto oh so you drive 7 hours for example and you plan on going for like a 14 hour trip. Do you drive 7 hours and then let the car rest for a day or you do something else

      @@ibrahimabah3693it’s a hybrid not a straight EV so you just fill it with gas. The gas engine charges the electric motor. You should be able to get 7 hours pretty easy on one tank with this model before you need to fill up again.
