Imo, this airline is wallet friendly choice if you're frequent traveler to Japan (maybe for work, family affair, etc). But if u rarely travel to Japan or will head there for vacation (a thing that u do maybe once in a year or couple of years), better go with full service like JAL or ANA...
Free WiFi is for their own entertainment in you device. You can try to use it for your own thing but it doesn’t really work. They do recommend you download all of your entertainment before the flight though.
I really liked your review. We would go San Jose, California (to Tokyo). I know they are a “budget” airline owned by JAL. We haves used both ANA and JAL and Like their airlines and customer service. I know with Zip- you pay for what you want. I know full well what I’m getting into if I use them. my husband’s concern is …HOW is their Customer Service? We have had experience with “budget” airlines in the past. You either get bad customer service AND /Or rude cheap/loud passengers. What info can I share with my Very hesitant husband?
Is true that you get what you pay for, but the staff was very nice to me. I really have no complaints other than their “free” WiFi is only for their own entertainment in your device. I recommend you download all of your entertainment before flying
Lol totally. Still seems like a good deal. The lie flat seats are only like 1000 dollars more round trip compared to economy seats on ANA or JAL. Buisness class on ANA and JAL is like 4000 dollars more than their economy seats.
Not worth it. The airline goes out of its way to live up to the title of budget airline. Not offering basic necessities like water to your passengers is unethical. Worst experience, and having a business class seat did not make up for the bad experience. If you’re a your traveler on a budget maybe. As an adult that expect a little decent service definitely staying away from this airline. I spent extra for a business class style seat, big mistake. Better off flying economy with a reputable airline.

Free Wifi worth more than anything! I dont mind bring my own food and drinks at all.
The free wifi is for display only, it seriously does not work well

Hahaha... Great "no frills" review - totally to the point!
I love the idea of choosing the meal before. Do you get it whenever you want or so they still run around with these carts?
I just want to sleep. Why not. Hope they improve the Meal Presentation.
Are the standard seating reclinable?? Are the confortable?

I’m in the fast lane, from LA to TOKYO🤪
Did they have usb ports at the seats?
How do you reserve amenity kits/meals? Is there an app or site ?
When you buy the ticket you get the options
Hello, were there outlets to charge your electronics?
from other videos, i believe there's USB-A connections on the seat-backs
Boeing 787s have charging ports.
Hello! Great video! :) was this a round trip or one way? And how much was it in total at the time you travelled?
“It was tasty but sparse” very familiar wording
Sounds like an honest review 😥
Puts you in control of your budget. They gave me a first class seat to get an idea of what they offer. Is this a joke?

$619 from LAX to Tokyo? How?!
I paid $448 in 2019, now are expensive AF!
@@edgarlunag damn that’s cheap!

@@xCkillaxC round with United airlines operated by ANA, great deal. But you don't see those anymore 😥
No drinks or snacks for a 12 hour flight lol
this feels like an advertisement
It is, completely scripted. And same exact sentences down to the word as other posters doing review of Zipair’s flights.
I'll stick with united
Horrible experience just pay a little more for a real airline
Worst air food stinks
Los not LAS lol
