From the title alone I can tell that this channel became a shill to JAL. Zip wasn't a bad decision on my part. I loved the prices and I will fly with them again.

I like Zip air too. They are great if you don’t have 2+ luggages 😅

Truly the worst airline. Their customer support is nonsensical and unhelpful. We purchased an extra seat to have extra space and they did not save our seat reservation!! Why would anyone buy an extra seat if it’s not adjacent to their own seat??

Zipair is not for me. I don’t like getting nickel and dimed for everything. JAL is a much better fit for me. For me Zipair was not a good start for my vacation.

Why do you select a budget airline and expect full service?

@@sdlock83 I have flown various budget airlines and they have not all been as sparse as this one. I did not expect full service for the price but I wanted to see how big the difference would be. After calculating the price of what I would consider standard carry on luggage, seat selection, meals, and overall efficiency of the whole experience I believe that, for me, paying the extra for JAL is worth it. Even the check in experience at the airport with Zipair is miles behind the efficiency of the check in experience with JAL. One hour I waited to check in bags because the line had only 2 counter people working to handle a full flight.. and online check in APP and website were not working properly for example. If it works for you more power to you.
