I totally agree, a one of a kind build for the owner who doesn't want a S550, loves the car they have. A gen.3 coyote, 10r80 trans, whipple, and all the other great mods equals a badass awesome car. Great job guys.
Thanks 🙏, I just picked up a 98’ Rio Red Coupe from the OG owner. I’ve been waiting on/trying to find the video footage of this build since you posted it on Instagram. 👏
The wiring, fuel system, transmission and maybe the dash are guaranteed $ items. If u shop around there’s plenty of mustangs totaled 24 hrs into ownership with less than 1,000 miles on them. A good deal of money can be saved just in right place right time power train searching. You still looking at close to 10k or 15k even with a deal on the power train. 10-15k can get u into one of these cars if u don’t mind getting some body work done at minimum
I love the sn95’s! This is a really nice set up! Other than the ugly headlights it looks very nice! I would love to do this swap to my 96 cobra but I’m keeping the 4.6 4v motor in mine and doing a twin turbo set up
@@Reypadd yeah I might go that route for my 03 Mach 1, or maybe even gen 1, to me it makes no difference between gen 1 or gen 2, they both make good power n/a and boosted
Hey it would be great if you made a video on how much can a stock 4v motor handle I’ve seen the video where you did the same on the 3v I just been wanting to know cause I’ve been looking into owning a 96-01 4v non terminator
@@raxx2rowdy113 forged bottom end, fuel system, and just springs and retainers to keep your valve train from falling apart, you can also achieve 1000whp for a decent price! But the 4v 4.6 is still superior to the 2v. I’ve seen 4.6 4v motors hit 2000hp where a 2v 4.6 won’t hit near those power levels…don’t get discouraged tho, the 2v 4.6 is still very capable of big power and will make more than enough power for your satisfaction, and more than enough for the streets and track
Because these engines require a control pack from FRPP you can run an auto or manual. That is not an issue. You just need the correct control pack for either a manual or the 10R automatic. You would be using a new auto trans like the 10R on the Gen 3. Not your stock trans, that way the control pack works correctly.
Hi brenspeed, is it possible to ship my car to you? I got an 06 mustang with gen 2 coyote swap engine, I belive you can fix or give a better suggestions of what can we do to make her more unique, detailed and better in every possible aspect, btw I live in Abu Dhabi ( UAE ).
Yes of course please email quote@brenspeed.com and send pictures of your car and we can start discussing this. Also include what you have in mind you are wanting to do. We build a lot of cars going international.
That is a stock Whipple intake with no box around it. So if you have a Gen 5 whipple and that air box intake well there you go you already have it. Or if for some reason you have no intake Whipple can sell you one direct.
You can consider the pricing I spoke of in this video to be roughly the same for a 3V. So like I said if you watched the whole thing price really depends on what all you want it can be all over the board. 30-60k depending on what you exactly want boosted or not boosted, suspension, brakes, etc... depends on what the client wants.
Thats because s197 to 64 1/2 are real mustangs nobody wants a 4k pound sports car.... thats why the foxbody chassis 1,2,3 will always get love unlike these new pos
Such a mean car especially for how stock it looks. No hellcat will ever see it coming.
Sleeper for sure!

Yah that needs explained more often. Most people think its like six thousand lol.

Those Kooks headers recommend Maximum motorsports k members but it looks like the UPR K member fits good with those headers?

You're better off with a Coyote-swap (gen2) due to the ECM management.

Nice. But I would see about adding a roll bar.

What are my options if I own A Mustang Gt 1998 with 4.6L V8 SOHC 16V? If I want to swap engines. Coyote sounds very nice
A stock coyote will give you 100 more hp.
I have a 98 too. Pullin the trigger asap. Just working out the details.
Be ready to spend 10k easy. Still cheaper than new. And you have the sleeper status
Beautiful mustang, not feeling the headlights.

How was the hood clearance? Aftermarket hood?
