That was 4 steps. And you can find Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, and every other legend traveling too. Harden does it 1 time and y’all act like he’s Giannis taking layups from half court every game.
Paul Pierce was average speed for a player at his position. You probably saw the later in his career self. But today players at his position are faster now. But no big deal. Footwork can make up for for being average speed or less. I'm fast but not very fast and average speed guys can do layups past my usually poor footwork. Even a fat guy with good footwork can prevent me from easily doing a layup. I did a running hook shot over him to score. Good Footwork and beating your man to his spot can greatly make up for not being fast.

At some point, I feel like it would take his teammates out of the game. Would he be playing winning ball? I'm not sure myself. Either that or he would have to learn to facilitate too(assuming he had 3 pt shooters on his team).

Kervin De Guzman you’re an idiot if you think MJ can defend it when Scottie said he couldn’t. Scottie is the better defender
@@antoinejackson6074 MJ is the better defender considering that Scottie never won DPOY
@@antoinejackson6074 homie over here jumped on the Scottie bandwagon after episode 2 of the last dance lmao
MJ can defend that. Michael Jackson
@@MilliardoPeacecraft "Pippen was named to the all-defensive team 10 times in his 17 year career, including eight first team selections, almost unheard of. ... On every one of the Bulls championship teams, Pippen guarded the opposing team's best player, and he shut down most." taken straight from Bleacher Report Article. Also Scottie has 10 compare to MJ's 9 All-Defense.
I love Pippen Rodman and MJ, they are so 😎 cool
Some professional players does workouts with some legends in off season, like lebron, kobe and dwight howard that worked out with olajuwon or jaylen brown working out with T-Mac. If I were a NBA player and played as Guard or SF, I would definitely take at least one offseason to pay scottie pippen to do a workout with me focused on defense skill and fundamentals.
Lol Paul peirce is trolling had me cracking up
2:25 to 2:45 ...the reason hardens 30/40pt games don't measure up to jordans 30/40 against the jazz when dirty Malone was in the paint, or kobes 30/40 when dirty Garnett and dirty rondo and dirty Perkins was in the paint. He literally goes untouched to the hole and if he gets touched?? Automatic free throws 😭
@@hyperspinz lmao
Great voice scotty..
Scottie helluva legend!
He have to coach kids
1:22 video in the background looks like a CLEAR travel!
That's because it is a clear travel. Refs have been told to allow it even though it violates the rules of basketball.
Paul Le Fevre I don’t think so. This was just a missed call. The typical step back, yes. But not this. We rarely see a double step back.
Scottie Pippen, what a voice, he could work on radio
It’s hard to defend someone who’s takin 3 steps traveling.
D Arsenal lol🤣🤣🤣
People still not understanding how NBA rules work is amazing
Exactly he took 5 steps him and harden 🤦🏾♂️😂
That was 4 steps. And you can find Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, and every other legend traveling too. Harden does it 1 time and y’all act like he’s Giannis taking layups from half court every game.
Lol, 3 steps after the 3 step gather
Pippen Would Lock On Anyone In This Era and Make Them Cry!
nah he wouldn't he'd get a foul and sit on a bench..
Definition of clamps
Nah he’d foul out
David Chavez He would get fouled out the game.
pippen be saying deep things, so inspirational man
“You ain’t Kobe. They don’t love you like that!” -Draymond Green
who cares what the triple single guy says? all the pierce haters probably were not born when pierce was stabbed 11 times
Scottie looks 10 years younger than pierce lol
It's because pierce used to smoke a lot
Pippen is one of the most humble legends in NBA you will ever see. That’s why he was so successful.
"I probably wasn't the fastest". He legit said that like there was someone slower.
Hugo Lopez you’re telling me he was the slowest person in his era?
@@saulramirez2676 He was one of the slowest the only reason he can dunk the ball is because he is like 6'7
Paul Pierce was average speed for a player at his position.
"The only way to stop that move is when the official blows the whistle" . Wisely said.
Are u me from the future?
Yes. Your grandchildren say hello.
I love the analysis and the joke about the double stepback travel.
Scottie on James hardens ‘stepback’ “Only way your gonna stop that move is the official blowing the whistle”😂😂
They need to allow the hand check. It's only fair. That would balance it out.
not really the defense will have the advantage
Remove the gather up move. That will even things out.
@@KeithThePlug Huh?...Bruh, no, hand checking won't give the offense the advantage. Put a body on Harden, and he's not scoring like he has been. Allow actual defense, call offensive fouls, and travelling violations, and Harden is struggling to score over 30
They also need to not call fouls on the defensive player if the offensive player jumps forward on his shot. Otherwise, the stepback is still unguardable.
@@itsdashoes right thats what I said, the defense would have the advantage, which will also make the game slower again like how it use to be. Plus the game will rely more om the big men
The sub bass in Scottie´s voice is supernatural.
Imagine MJ on these days of no contact nba!! Ajjajaj 60 ppg
Ray Allen has a youtube clip. I think it was Dan Patrick's show, where he said with a straight face that MJ would average something like 47ppg in today's NBA
I mean, with the way harden is averaging as much as he is, I don't find it too unbelievable. But by the same token, Jordan didn't have a 3 ball. He'd have to take a shit ton of shots to do that. At some point, I feel like it would take his teammates out of the game. Would he be playing winning ball? I'm not sure myself. Either that or he would have to learn to facilitate too(assuming he had 3 pt shooters on his team).
Onlyrealmusic4life the 3 point argument is stupid....how many 3s average harden? 4-5? Idk. Is 5 point more only by shooting 3s over 2s.
MJ could And1 everybody so...
Imagine Kareem with in this no contact Nba. Average 65ppg
@@eingelvf Is it really that dumb when he would be going up against a 3 pt shooting team like GSW? Look at how many of their points come off 3s per game. That's why they can go on a run like in the blink of an eye.
Scottie needs to use his voice on some
Pixar’s characters 🔥
Love Scottie's defensive insights.
Haha Scottie becoming a defensive guru low-key
He is a defensive guru
@@coollibra3644 yeah but there are guys that are just as good defensively as him but don't get the recognition cause they didn't play with MJ
And i see how they do a kobe counterpart segment. Lol
@@KG-zp6so I'm not sure about that Rodman, dumars, Payton Michael Cooper. Now if you say somebody like Sidney moncrief or Vernon Maxwell. I will give you that but the trifecta is MJ pip Payton. There were big men too like Ewing, Hakeem, mourning, Nate Thurmond and Russell. Pip and Giannis have the same wingspan and let that sink in. Pip defensive iq might be the best ever.
K G been a lock down defender his whole career.
