I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about NTC in Fort Irwin, California... Except the weather. The scenery and views we got from arriving there and leaving to get to the airport back to our home duty station on the East Coast was what made me fall in love with California's landscape.

I do highly recommend that if you're thinking about joining the armed forces in this day and this time think about it not once not twice but 2,000 times before you sign that contract it is not the same as 33 years ago when I joined. I meet my sergent and the boss they came to my house and did everything i would like to do military police and patrol the streets on my town but the soldier who gave me ride back home from taking the test he told me im gonna hear from them in 30 days but in case they would not i got an offer to work for the city from customer who comes to our place to eat.

11C Forever; same route 11X and became an 11C - in my Opinion; BEST JOB in the Army. Retired now but loved my time and Career!

I didn't mind ntc.. i dont mind heat.. i was more miserable in YTC Washington.. it was 10 degrees, sleeping outside freezing 🥶
