Cults should not be admired. Only the lowest of the low make cults because they want power. Being a god is not an easy job, that is why humans shouldn't try to be them. Cults are built off of manipulation for a cause that is not revealed until later when said members are so dependent on their leader that they are literally unable to leave even when they explicitly want to. When the cult is threatened with the action of disbanding, everyone is manipulated into fighting for that cause, even if they don't want to. Mass suicides happen when the leader sees no other way out. They extort, torture, and lie to get their way. That is not admirable. Its shameful.
