I love this channel. Dragon Age has such a special place in my heart and it’s great to see others who enjoy the world just as much.
Dwarven craft, fine Dwarven craft, direct from Orzammar
I think there's a little understatement about the nugs. A dwarf literally became a paragon for discovering that they were tasty. A fucking paragon. It's the same honor you give someone for making a war machine that pushed back the darkspawn. But hey, knowing nugs taste good is just as important right?
food is food
All Paragons have been elected by providing something that increases the survival of the Dwarves as a whole. Providing easily captured and numerous food like nugs is essential like discovering the use of pigs. It's game changing.
Deep Roads is my favorite parts of the Dragon Age games. So much loot, things to fight, and exp!
Now this is an unpopular opinion if i've ever heard one.

Yes, especially in the beginning of Inquisition. They are everywhere, and easy to kill, and make some good crafting leather for the Herald.
The main trait for dwarves are honor. But unless you play as a dwarf their are not many honorable orzammar dwarves.
Give me a good Dwarven reason and sod the rest.

Anyone else think that the background music in Orzammar in DAO was some of the best ambient music going, don't get me wrong it isn't the best song in the game but it's still up there
When you talked about the Diamond Quarter being above the Commons and the nobles laughing at the commoners and whatever else, I remembered the story Sigrun told about a bronto that fell from the Diamond Quarter and spilled its guts everywhere. Maybe one of the things they do is arrange "accidents" like that.
I really love this channel, a massive Dragon-age fan. The videos are also done in a way where even when my son wants to hang out with me he's cool with watching them next to me. Honestly these videos make me constantly want to reply the entire series so far, though only thing that keeps me from constantly reply DAI is that stupid table. lol

I've been playing inquisition for the first time lately and already have 90 hours into it, and not 30 mins ago I confirmed my theory of how corehpius survived hawke (dunno how to spell his name lul) I look forward to new videos from you and my prime source of lore

Something I've always wondered but have never gotten an answer to. During Origins, Ogren keeps talking about going South to the Dead Trenches and yet, according to the map, you are traveling West from Ozzamar. I've always thought that Ogren was correct and the map was wrong in actual direction. This became a more interesting contradiction when that Codex entry talked about something sleeping beneath Orlais. Anyway, I was hoping to get some other thoughts on it as I've not found this contradiction addressed anywhere.
I dont remember a compass on game map but the map could be going south. For example if you are heading north and turn around you would be heading south.
The map is pointing north as the East, since there's that thing of "the stone lies beneath Orlais" and we saw nothing alike, and as we can see in it's geography, orlesians would have some serious problems with darkspawn in the fifth Blight, should our map be alright, but the ones in trouble that time were the fereldans
The Deep Roads map looked odd to me and I always chalked it up to simple convenience for the game developers who didn't want to waste too much time trying to match the surface world coordinates.
Bhoddisatva THIS, and lorewise, the map is made by dwarves for dwarves, and they don't give a sod for the surface world

Whatched the Anderfels video and thought to add to the part that missed from this, "the language". There is the whole lore to the language but there is no mention (or I could not found) of the sertain names that are clearly Finnish/Estonian. Maybe just a addition from a creator team member who has origins as a finn/estonian. But just that in the anderfels vid was mentioned about old germanic names, just adding this

Hey, I dont realmt had reddit or Twitter, and i dont know if you accept requests from chat, but if so, could we her a character profile on Anders? He was my favorite character from awakening and least favorite in drago age 2. Who he was pre justice is something alot of people look over and a full analysis of the character would be cool

I think it's unfortunate you didn't touch on Orzammar's relationship with Tevinter (who I would argue they're about equally close to as Ferelden), and the influences both cities seem to have on one another's culture. Out of all the nations in Thedas, they actually seem pretty similar.
