I like this set. The baseplate really completes it.
Wow this set is 20 years old... I start to feel old. I remember seeing it in catalogs as a kid and really wanting it even though I never got it. Funny is that before seeing this video I never saw all the features of this set.
I remember how badly I wanted this when I was a child! Makes me wanna buy it with my adult monaaay.
I definitely adore how much playability this set has behind it.
I was JUST talking to a buddy about Lego, and how I loved this series as a kid, and how I always pined for this set, but it was too expensive. After falling down a Google rabbit hole of nostalgia, I found my way here, watched the video, and just purchased the set for myself, NISB. Great video!
MAN lego sets look SSOOOO coll back then...
Love the color scheme for this set! I wonder if LEGO wiil ever use such large transparent pieces again?
Oh, the nostalgia. I had one of this when I was at home and it was amazing. I remember extending the sub's arm to reach inside its compartment.
Lego just doesn't make sets like they used to
This set is one of the coolest and most eye popping sets lego ever introduced. I got mine in the 90's as a kid on thanksgiving and remember building it at my uncles house. The blue/yellow color scheme is amazing and the attention to detail is great. They put a lot of effort into the back of the set, and Even as a kid I remember being impressed by this.
og boy. this brings back memories. this is one of those things, that you cant activlie recall, that you had it, but as soon as you see it, youre like "omg, i had that". 1995.. more then twenty years ago, where did the time go? must have been hard for me parents to have me, since i just saw, that this was 90 dollars back then. i never wanted things SO BAD in my life like lego sets in that era. but i was one of the kids, that got a new set, build it, played with it, disassambled it and used the parts to build random stuff but never bet the original thing again (mostly due to loosing the instruction) aaaah, simpler times
This set is honestly just beautiful
The sub may be blocky but it's HUNDRED times better than the new one we get from city while city one it has more pieces...
my friend in elementary school had this and I was so jealous, I only ever got the medium sized sets and I would always look at the big sets in the catalogues for hours
those old lego sets are so awesome
Wow! I can't believe i am so lucky to have this set when i was a kid, I really enjoy playing it and this video brings in some good memories back in the days : )
The older Lego sets had such a charms to them. The 90's were truly a time where less was indeed more.
A absolutely played the brick out of this set - with added blue LEGO-Lights everywhere - I loved it. Thanks Jang, now i feel young again ;)
I loved this set so much as a kid.
Holden (my 3.5 year old son) loves watching Jangbricks! This is what he says about this set "It's great! Cool! It's awesome, and it's amazing. I love it!"
