Hi Jang
Am like binch watching al ur reviews 😅
Did you see the new exclusive Neil Armstrong footprint print?
Ninjago ninjago please please please
Pretty sure if i was still a kid i'd be to the moon with this set. Lego did a great job.
For some reason the most impressive part of this whole set to me are the wheels that ensure the treads spin even if it's on a smooth surface. It's a genius idea. I've had too many toys as a kid that couldn't turn the wheels because my house had hardwood floors.
Id prefer if it had rubber studs.
Not to be that guy, but LEGO has done that in many sets before
I agree - it's a very great solution for this problem! :-)
I was already excited about this whole line of City sets from the promotional pictures, but I think this one might be my absolute favorite. Not only because of how much stuff comes with it, but also because everything is absolutely perfect - great designs, great playability, great displayability, everything
Pretty good space theme this year
Finally huh?
@@lucasurquiza554 Seriously, I don't think they've had as good of a group of space themes since the 90's or early 2000s
*sees 86 in prof pic.* Ah, you are a man of fine culture as well
@@atkaorcadrawings7303 You too!
the only hope for a space set in 2020 is that gemini crew capsule on lego ideas but I don't think it'll happen
I’m loving these new Mars sets! I’m curious to see if any features are to go to the Jang City space quadrant? Keep up the great work! 😃
The Same With Me!
The sets themselves definitely won't, but I expect that some of the parts and/or inspiration will.
Yeah, these Mars sets are great! I really like that they are approaching a certain sense of realism with these - very cool! :-)
I have endless respect for the education in these videos. Comparing them to the real thing or what real thing may have inspired them is incredibly valuable.
Hi jang haven’t finished the video but it’s great so far this is my favorite set of the wave and will be getting it I love the rocket I love your channel too!
Legos for Life In my opinion, the people pack and the lunar space station are my favorite, but this set is great too!
Ya
I love this set
MinionDude282 people pack is my 2nd
Here's an idea for the "clean room" in this set that could be fun... there's an invisible electromagnetic forcefield that's constantly active behind the big door, so that any pollen, dust, spores, or other small/microscopic debris from the outside just gets vaporized. Kind of like a giant version of one of those bug-zapper lamps.
Jango Yifftail that’s pretty cool and creative
I think it would the Field would be just big enough for a place to load the rover into the cargo bay.
This set really does have lots of playability in it! I really like that transporter, it's totally cool! It may be expensive, but you're gonna get a lot of fun with it, nice review, Jang!
As a kid I can confirm
I used to watch you everyday as a kid bc I was addicted to Lego and listening to you voice brings back a lot of nostalgia.
21:01 Wow Jang you're also an astronaut!? You're really multitasking! XD
Not gonna lie, if I got this set as a kid, I would lose so much time just playing with it. So many marvelous play features and interacting components. Whoever designed this did a truly spectacular job.
Clutch Powers?!
...wait, now yes!
Angry4rtichoke clutch freaking powers baby!
Spacejang commanding the mission! Honestly this set (and by extension most of the line) is great to me as a space fan but I still wasn’t planning on buying them. These reviews have drastically changed my plans as I now try to budget ALL the sets in the wave!
White and orange for the colour scheme, crystals and Mars exploration :
Mars Mission reboot next year? ^^
Great review anyway :)
Everyone wants a Mars Mission reboot... I feel this is the Mars Mission reboot
This is the Prequel to Mars Mission lol
I have a Mars Mission rover set
Ahh! I LOVE these new space sets, I would have been all over these as a kid - Still would be now, to be honest.
(I also appreciate how similar it looks to a certain ill fated rocket from Thunderbirds...)
You should add a mini space center in your city to accommodate these sets!
Love these space sets. The interconnectivity of the sets is such a great part of the design. My big hope is that kids that get these sets now will be inspired to head up the space program of the future.
Jango, the Rover Lab is more of a mechanics workshop over a clean lab, clean labs are where testing happens, you don’t weld in them because that’s how you dirty it for starters.
When you finally finish all these sets i never plan on getting, but luv yer reviews! Hope you do a combo video of One Big Base, One Big Rocket, & One Big Station.
I like the idea of Lego going with NASA/Roscosmos vehicles and NASA missions. But I think it would be fitting for the 2020 space sets (or a future space line) to be based off SpaceX. I think this because they have inspired more kids after since 2011. (And I would like to see reusable Lego rockets)
i think its pretty easy to get around the "clean room" scenario by imagining its much much bigger, separate the rocket cargo module and have them seal the rover within the module inside the clean room, and then transport it to the rocket assembly, and attach it there
These sets are really great! Especially for getting kids into spaceflight and all the science that goes with it. I also think you should make your own space station using some of these own parts that flies over your city
Thank you so much, Jang, for reviewing the four big sets from this year's space theme! Could you please do a review of the two smaller sets, 60224 Satellite Service Mission, and 40345. Mars Exploration Minifigure Pack. Thank you for the reviews that you have done!
who's to say this clean room isnt just one bay in a much larger cleanroom building. Might even help explain why the other walls arnt there ;) think one big large hanger but with small sectioned off areas so the welding sparks and such wont contaminate their neighboring bays. And the doors open and close when transporting between rooms.
The capsule/shuttle kind of resembles DreamChaser, especially the way those wingtips fold up. It's kind of sad, that there is not a single cargo/case (satelite/rover) capsule in this whole theme.
Hey @jangbricks would you consider doing a wave review of all these space sets? Would be great to see them all together!
Legos+interstellar+the martian= this chaos
I love how much Jang loves this!
One of my favourite sets so far
I am more (almost exclusively) a Lego Star Wars and Harry Potter customer, but this years space sets already broke that pattern - I already got two smaller ones and will get this one, too. I imagine it will work great with the 60227 space station. Great review overall.
I want it! I want like 3...1 to build and play with....with my kids of course, and like 2 more for all the cool parts!
Great video as per usual! Both informative and fun to watch.
I must admit, while I am more into (very) old Lego stuff, these 2019 Space sets from Lego strike me as a true and worthy follow up on what we now call Classic Space. So many play-possibilities, so many combinations... They do look like a great Lego theme! I only miss the old base plates with this stuff (but can understand the price point of leaving them out).
Oh yes, imagine this theme with that old moon baseplate!
In orange!
Thanks for the great review Jang! I don't know why, but this rocket reminds me of the Alpha Centauri rocket you use to win the Space victory in Civilization 5, probably because of its futuristic/ultra modern design.
I generally hate side builds as they often small and junky. I don't see any junky side builds in this set. They are all large enough and serve a good purpose.
Also, second the opinion about the the truck looking like a '70s toy truck. I had a small red tonka truck very much like the truck in the set.
What?!? No coffee cup in the truck!
The manger? Who ever the gray one was he has a yellow mug.
This rockets’s base reminds me of the Soyuz rocket
5:51 so, that's where Clutch Powers, got his name from... (back in season 11 from ninjago btw =D )
That 360 in the intro was 🔥
You should have more subs for all you do, not just for us but the lego community
I would really like that rover lab. I hope I can find it from a Bricklink seller.
Love it, great review, thank you
Actually that rocket is some kind of mix for a R-7 style rocket (For example: Soyuz rocket) because of the conic shaped center but without engines mixed with ideas of smaller shuttle like spacecrafts like Hermes (ESA) or Dyna-sonar (US/NASA). But obviously simplified for the city line.
You're Awesome Jang!
That's what they should have done with the tracks of the Ninjago Dieselnaut. The way it's built now, the tracks are of no use, truly disappointing.
I don't mind that the rover lab has no walls, because I see it as just one little part of a giant clean building, with additional labs, potentially without walls between them, on either side and behind the rover lab.
I need to get those space legos
Yes you do
no *I* need these legos
They’re to cool
The casual marvel fan r/youngkidsyoutube
Danger Nugget r/ihavereddit
21:08 Guess we went into space together Jang, because that other head is me :-D
MaxRawhide ha
The geode pieces are amazing.
5:52 nice clutch powers reference
You could probably make a moving city of sorts with that platform for the Mellanby district in your lego city. Think Immortal Engines or something like that.
Amazing set. So much to play with
I want to make a moc, and these new piece/parts make it so much easier to make modular spaceships.
The yellow face print on the clean room guy looks good for a print
Wasn’t expecting an Angara shout out!
This is such a cool set! I’m definitely going to cop it!
Could you do a video showing all of the space stuff and all of the combinations you can think of for connections?
I wish the shuttle and the robot in this set came with the space station set.
22:50 - that figure is Stan lee
Love the more scientific and informative Jang!
I love this set! But, I might wait a year or so to see if maybe they fix the grey canopy sticker or print. I'm thinking the possibilities for combining sets for new configurations is pretty good. Thanks for the video!
If only they added an exhaust in the middle of the four boosters, it could have been a Soyuz
Oh yeah, well spotted sir! :-)
10:35 the main reason for the clean room is to mixture not to contaminate the mission's location. EX: a rover heads to Mars and discovers life and later found out it was bacteria that was transported there that now is an alien species that could kill other life on the red planet
If i was really into astronauts and space this would be the first Lego set I would get
I actually just got that set a week ago, and I’m a little frightened this is in my recommended section
I like the flat bed and some minifigs in this set!
These are so cool thanks for the upload
Hi jangbrickd ferry good video love this set thanks for reviewing it
This set makes me wish TRU was still around. It probably be an exclusive there and at some point they would have a sale that could make the set ALMOST an affordable price.
Is the music you use created by you? I would love to be able to listen to it by itself it's very relaxing 🙂
Jang: Stuff needs to stay clean and it should teach kids to stay clean (technical whatever)
Me: uh it's a toy...
I feel like this is one of those sets where you need to combine two of them to build it out to it's full potential.
Keep up the great work JANG!
I LOVE SPACE TOYS
I think the launch control building does not have a roof so it's really easy to see the panoramic view of mars from the figures' perspective
If you wanted to you could use one of the more solid tools from the lab on the rover so it could break the geode on its own
I think the truck could have benefited by using the 'classic' doors (3821 and 3822) instead of the blue 1x4 bricks. Overall I'll be getting this set (and all others from this line) for sure!
Great vid like always
LEGO City is killing it this year with this sub-theme
very cool but tbh I like the other rocket set a bit more because its cheaper and has a more classic rocket look but this set is pretty cool too! bdw I subscribed
The rocket is based off a discarded space plane that would have been used to head to the moon.
mrjay07 yeah. My uncle who works for JPL helped me build this and we talked about that.
4:48 Agreed! They missed the mark on that white. That color doesn't match any brick colors either.
I always enjoy your videos
Keep up the fire content my guy
I think the rocket has some similarity to an Ariane 5 rocket, additionally to the before mentioned similarities to other rockets.
Looking forward for more lego space sets. Like a lunar command center, or martian (like the film) lego set.😉
Lawrence Royce Manapsal same here. I’m hoping that the sales this year push on next years releases.
Vote with your money!(buy some sets)
Very detailed review, great job! keep doing what u do
You could also use the antenna as a dish to place samples and test them
As far as the crane goes, the yellow cargo train from some years ago had a crane that was pretty large in a similar style. As far as I can tell, it might be a hair bigger. (I have it right in front of me now)
I want all the space legos
Love the review!!!
Ooo wow. Amazing set. super rocks
Kids dreams were crushed
They thought the frying pan on the rover was to make it breakfast
Haha yor ronh yor hev bed gremar
Wow Perfect 👌
U r amazing jang keep it up!
The uppermost module reminds me of Buzz Lightyear's ship
If you still have the planetary defense force, you should add your custom robots to the aliens side (if you want to)
The naming of these sets is interesting. Here in Japan this is specifically called the "giant" rocket assembly factory set, while the other large set is the "super-giant rocket command centre". I wonder why they differentiated the size in one language but not another... the mysteries of the marketing department I suppose. I honestly find this the set I want the least, the crawler is cool but the factory part is a bit weak. I wish it "fit in" more with the other big set.
Heck yea! Astro-Jang!
I hope that the robot tile print will be in a cheap set, cause I want to build a robot!
Brinklink May help you buy just that piece
This a amazing set!
