    Could you do more back friendly workouts? I have a bulging disc and this is so helpful.

    I've been in bed with ice packs and heating pads for the past 2 weeks due to a horrible pinched nerve... i've been terrified to move but finally started feeling better and decided i needed to move my body! I just did this workout (first workout in 2 weeks) and i feel amazing, didn't trigger my back at all! Thank you so much

      I really love this one too! I personally prefer doing core work without any flexion or crunches... and it's still just as effective! Thanks for your comment :)

      ha! I'm guessing you're referring to the hundred exercise :) It's not often a favorite of students, but it's definitely effective at getting the core and heart rate fired up!

If your healthcare provider has recommended core strengthening, this routine might be helpful, but I’d suggest focusing on the gentler exercises and avoiding any that cause discomfort. Listening to your body and starting slowly can be key, and it’s always a good idea to consult with a physical therapist or doctor who knows your specific condition.       That's a great question! Yes, these would be safe to do daily to strengthen your core, although every other day might be more ideal to let your muscles rest!

    Is this appropriate for herniated disk?

      Yes these exercises are safe for those with a herniated disk. The only ones I would keep an eye on are any where the legs are reaching long and lowering towards the floor.... these can sometimes put too much pressure on the spine if the core isn't strong or stable.
