Thank you for the music Sweden. Abba, Europe, Roxette, Ace of Base, Robyn, Army of Lovers, Rednex, The Cardigans, First aid kit, Avicii, Swedish House Mafia and all others as text and music writers as Max Martin, Anders Bagge and Tobias Karlsson. Hits for Britney Spears, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, Back Street Boys and many many others.
Klara's snippet of English accent was WAY too sexy for that time of the morning lol.She should have done the voice for the new Lady Penelope! Seriously, its amazing that they're happy to sit there and sing spontaneously with an acoustic guitar, with none of the bullshit primadonna behaviour that normally surrounds popstars
These two even remind me of the Wilson sisters from Heart. You know, the fact that the sisters consist of one voluptuous brunette and one thin blonde brings to mind Ann and Nancy Wilson.
It really is a mind-freak that they sound so American - my ex wife was from Stock and had an American accent too but not THIS American. The power of American TV.
Nah, they sounded the same 6 years ago. Like they said, it's from growing up watching American TV....plus they don't teach English in schools with the British accent anymore.
John RossStar Certain Swedes write in English because the most superficial of them think of it as somehow "better" than Swedish. The heavy American accents are adopted to obfuscate their own accents: English plus Swedish accent is a thing of great embarrassment for some reason known only to Odin.
+Andrew Ross it always seems that people not from Britain, particularly America, find British accents attractive (generalising obviously) and I've never seen it, until the English accent impression in this
They have this voice duo that just melts together, with that slight southern American twang (I know they are swedish). The only other duo I have heard that fit this description was the civil wars... but they've broken up now :( .
Amazing duo ! Being German I never understood how Sweden as a relative small country has such creative musicians / artists and Germans don't really manage to produce much of international interest.....it must be in the way of engineering...
You've got Rammstein and you're talking about lack of international interest ??? People all around the world fucking love them even though majority doesn't even understand German
A pedant writes: when talking to British people, you don't need to say 'Stockholm Sweden' - because a) we know where Stockholm is and b) we don't have states with lots of towns that have the same name. Sorry. I had to say it.

Zorg2006 well now there actually is a Stockholm in Wisconsin ... USA ;)
Anders Eggegård Fair enough, but what I mean is, if you're talking to British people they will know Stockholm means Sweden and don't need it clarifying. Obviously this is the most unimportant comment in youtube history but still.
+Zorg2006 It´s always like this,if one hundredpeople say something nice about an artist ,there is always someone who feel that they just have to say something nasty about the artist just to get some attention.
The DNA of American Music is folk music from Ireland, UK, Sacandinavia, Germany and France...The American accent didnt come out of thin air either - certain parts - like Minnesota - sound very Swedish - at first til u realise theyre speaking English...
They may speak fluent english with an excellent anglo-euro-american accent, but being Swedish, it's not really a suprise if they can do a Swedish accent, NOT doing one is the hard part if you're Swedish. He should have said 'you do an english accent very well'
What Stockholm Sweden! When they could have lived in say London England, or Berlin Germany, or Paris France. Why Stockholm!? Its cold and not that pretty.
efcpl Maybe because they that's where they grow up? Just because it isn't the biggest city in the world doesn't it mean it's a good city. And it's only cold in the winter, during summer does it gets around 30 degress Celsius.
Steven T. Parker So you are complaining about Swedes being superficial for writing in English and about our climate? Wow. Someone needs to get another hobby...
***** Well you know You Stockholm is my city I can complain about is how much I like its does´nt matter. Its my city. Thats how it is. We as humans always complain about the closest to us. Its just how we are.
love their music. simply charming.

Seriously, its amazing that they're happy to sit there and sing spontaneously with an acoustic guitar, with none of the bullshit primadonna behaviour that normally surrounds popstars
They even speak in harmony
These ladies are wonderful! I love that they seem so down to earth and unaffected. Pure talent.
These two even remind me of the Wilson sisters from Heart. You know, the fact that the sisters consist of one voluptuous brunette and one thin blonde brings to mind Ann and Nancy Wilson.
Their accents are beautiful
I can hardley notice any accent at all really,i´m Swedish though.

First thing out of lockdown is seeing these magicians x
It really is a mind-freak that they sound so American - my ex wife was from Stock and had an American accent too but not THIS American. The power of American TV.
John RossStar Well maybe, but also spending large portions of their young lives touring and recording in america might play a part?
Nah, they sounded the same 6 years ago. Like they said, it's from growing up watching American TV....plus they don't teach English in schools with the British accent anymore.

Well that's a damn shame - accents flavor the world. Homogenization isn't a good thing.
I can understand if they don't want to sound like "The Swedish Chef".
When johanna comes in with the harmony 😍
These two women are absolute treasures.
I've just finally understood why people who are not British find the English accent attractive, Klara sounded like sonic sexiness
What the actual fuck are you talking about?
+Andrew Ross it always seems that people not from Britain, particularly America, find British accents attractive (generalising obviously) and I've never seen it, until the English accent impression in this
+Eric Layton didn't catch it till I read your comment. its heaven
such a great duet
Naturally good singers off cuff like that and sitting down. Good luck girls carry on producing lovely songs. R, R
They have this voice duo that just melts together, with that slight southern American twang (I know they are swedish). The only other duo I have heard that fit this description was the civil wars... but they've broken up now :( .
They're Swedish? I thought they seemed to have an American country western sound
So beautiful!!!......and the song too!!!😎💖💖
Love them!
Lol their music does make me feel better!
Amazing duo ! Being German I never understood how Sweden as a relative small country has such creative musicians / artists and Germans don't really manage to produce much of international interest.....it must be in the way of engineering...
The evening music schools are supported by the government or at least have been. A move that has been very profitable for Sweden
Kim Acronym: Well you have Doro Pesch.
As much as I love First aid kit, no one beats Doro.
You've got Rammstein and you're talking about lack of international interest ??? People all around the world fucking love them even though majority doesn't even understand German
Germany are probably the best in engineering.
Well, Germany did produce Bach and Beethoven. They managed to write one or two oldies goldies, didn't they?

Amazing.....
We walked to that store all the time in Merced.
Excellent!
there brilliant
I want to heart them speak Swedish, lol
Who wrote that?
"We did".
Classic TV Journalism.
If they took Fairfield there is a mall and I already vouched for the comic book guy there. If the one for Merced wanted to come to Winters...
They must have spent more time in the US than Sweden.
The DNA of American Music is folk music from Ireland, UK, Sacandinavia, Germany and France...The American accent didnt come out of thin air either - certain parts - like Minnesota - sound very Swedish - at first til u realise theyre speaking English...
I think they attended an international school, and prob learnt their English from people with American accents.
Lol I was surprised to find out these girls were from Sweden, they sound like some great country folk artist from the middle of America
As a Swede, I think people from Minnesota sound very American. :)
Hows life in Sweden at the moment?
Fairfield/Suisun and Benicia great for trade...
Is Johanna the younger sister? They're cute together.
JOhana
Just can't fault these guys
Dom är bäst!
they definitely sound American
nice tweedy
Did they really say 'you do a swedish accent very well' ...Geez
Well they don't have very Swedish voices.
They may speak fluent english with an excellent anglo-euro-american accent, but being Swedish, it's not really a suprise if they can do a Swedish accent, NOT doing one is the hard part if you're Swedish.
He should have said 'you do an english accent very well'

Oscar Hult winter, which lasts for at least 6 months a fucking year.
Steven T. Parker So you are complaining about Swedes being superficial for writing in English and about our climate? Wow. Someone needs to get another hobby...
***** Well I´m swede and have lived in Stockholm a couple of years. Its just my penny for my thoughts. I would not choose Stockholm thats for sure.
***** Well you know You Stockholm is my city I can complain about is how much I like its does´nt matter. Its my city. Thats how it is. We as humans always complain about the closest to us. Its just how we are.
