- First Aid Kit perform live at legendary Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA on June 8, 2014. Swedish folk-duo Klara and Johanna Söderberg perform many of their fan favorites as well as new tracks from Stay Gold, released June, 2014.
Klara and Johanna talk about growing up in Sweden, being tour, recording their latest album and what inspired some of their most well-known songs.

I'm an old fart, and I just saw them on Letterman , And I'm Hooked.
I used to sing 60 years ago in high school. I just adore the harmony. just amazed.
Respect to you for liking the music and writing this here. People of all ages should really talk more with each other. They would see that it's really not much difference in their liking sometimes.
After the recent loss of my truly wonderful mother, I have been drifting along aimlessly for three months. But then, I came upon First Aid Kit thanks to a car ad.I have cried and cried again listening to all of First Aid Kit. And then I cried some more. I am not crying tears of sorrow for my mother though this may be a part of my grieving process. I am crying tears of joy because of the sheer beauty of it all, the beauty of virtually every song and every performance.
Yesterday, after two weeks of addiction, I came across this particular video. Not sure why I never came across it previously but I stayed up through the night watching it over and over. I am still crying and still aimless but even more exhilarated.
Thank you Klara and Johanna. Thank you First Aid Kit and thank you WGBH Music. And yes, thanks to the audience ! I'm not asking much of you, just sing, little darling, sing with me.

there is alot of crap all over the internet, sometimes it gets overwhelming. Then you read something like this and somehow it's all worth it.

It's been a long time since any music had the effect on me theirs has. It's heart-rending beauty in musical form. Absolutely breathtaking.

Kudos to WGBH, et al, for sharing this. The musical siblings deserve a much wider audience for their enchanting harmonies and lyrics. Their songs invoke the best musical memories of the 60's & 70's; Joni Mitchell, Simon & Garfunkel, Crosby & Nash, etc. Klara & Johanna just keep get better & better.

I don't know what happened. Last song, "Emmylou", audience invited to do the chorus. Oldest trick in the book. I've been to hundreds of concerts, I can see through cheap tricks. But I just started sobbing uncontrollably - it was _so_ beautiful. Thanks girls - thought I had lost it - needed that!
There is no one word to describe how freakin' good this is/was,, simply amazing and superb. I'm a heavy metal guy, yet i watch this video almost everyday, it's like a drug. Fantastic! Oh and thanks for posting this show, what a treasure.

WGBH Music Lol yes, the headbanging was a delightful surprise for me, but in the end it's all about the music and the amazing combo of these two angels voices. I have not been this excited about a duo since Simon & Garfunkel. Their cover of America when Paul Simon got the Polar Music Prize was another "fall of my chair" moment for me. But again this concert is just crazy good, it deserves more views and the band a bigger audience. Im forever grateful that you guys recorded this and released it for all of us to enjoy. Thank you again.

Was lucky to see them in Belfast on Wednesday. A real joy to witness live!
There is only Forward there's no other way.....Faultless performance.......I like that their dad does the sound and that they are so beautifully expressive and articulate. Both have very strong voices and great audience communication. Some brilliant male voices at the end there too. Pure brilliance from all involved.

We were very lucky to see FAK live last year in Manchester . This Boston concert brings back great memories of the fantastic experience seeing FAK live. Well done to WGBH for producing a brilliant recording

These girls were always going to make it big someday, the surprise is why it's taken so long. I've been lucky enough to see them live twice in fairly small and intimate venues in Manchester, they really are something very special.

As always WGBH comes through with the very best entertainment. This is the perfect example of why we need PBS.
ok, with this and the other youtube clips they have out, it won't be long before they are selling out much larger places, if that's what they want. Amazing songwriting and harmony backed by solid pro musicians. The lucky few at this show will look back fondly before long...thanks for sharing and thanks to them for allowing all this to be on the tube. Get the lp's from this group so the music is heard as it should be!

I must admit I had not heard of First Aid Kit until this morning on my way into work when “My Silver Lining” came on and, thank goodness, the radio identified the group. I absolutely love these girls, their music is like a breath of fresh air. Not been this impressed with originality and style since Van Halen in the late 70's. Yet there is a retro feel to their music. Top shelf, best in the world right now I think. That Tuareg dude from Africa pretty dang-on good too!!!
One of the many sounds my audio receptors enjoy is the beautiful music these girls and guys put out.

Thanks for posting this show. I've seen them twice in L.A. On a beautiful Fall evening at the Santa Monica Pier in 2013 and just the other night at The Wiltern Theater. How do early twenty somethings write such beautiful songs and harmonize like that? It's beyond me. We are lucky to have them making music. Man, those harmonies along with the pedal steel make me weep...in good way

What a GREAT performance, inccludes their best version of "Wolf" starts at 24,30 min, and the end of that song give me goosebumps that never ends!!

Too cool. Young Swedish girls doing the American folk hippie chick thing better than anything I've ever heard. And I mean this all as a compliment!! Check out their Black Sabbath and Paul Simon covers!! And why do they speak better English than 1/2 the people born in the U.S.???? WTF?
English is mandatory form 3:rd grade, and everything English on TV is subtitled.
mix Scandinavian , Scottish, Irish, and English folk music, from the pioneers and settlers you have good old U.S Country and Western music..

It's crazy that you can't even tell they are Swedish. Maybe it's just me but I heard no accent at all.
Their music is beautiful.
Scandinavian countries are taught English from a very early age and many, especially younger, don't have much of accent if they have one at all

I've been looking at different First Aid Kit videos for several weeks and this is really a nice recording! They plays great here! They should release a live DVD album collecting their best performances

Nice to hear from you. I think this all speaks to an interesting dynamic in the new world of music distribution and promotion. Free, unfettered access to music will usually prompt me to spend more money on mpegs and attend more shows (for those acts with which I am impressed, like FAK) than I would otherwise have done. It is possible, of course, to find their music online, and I could sit here, punching buttons and watching the pixels, but thanks to you and others like you, I will now get up off my duff and go see them live. And give them money! Thank you, from both sides of the equation.

My favorite of theirs, Hearts of Men would be a good one for Coldplay to cover. They have no accent! Nice to see young people show respect.
