Honestly, I am 66 years old now and have been listening to music and going to concerts since I was 12, I have pretty much seen everyone on my bucket list live except for The Beatles, and carried around a thousand plus collection of vinyl from my early teens well into my 30's from apartment to apartment during my nomadic early years. All that being said, First Aid Kit ranks with my favorite groups of all time and certainly are producing the best music I have listened to in the last twenty years, I am absolutely blown away by their level of talent. Marcus Mumford once introduced them as his own musical heroes. Exactly!!! This concert is the perfect showcase for just how good they are, wow!! is all I can say.
Wish I still had those vinyls Lars, sold them all on a whim for 20 dollars, one of the biggest mistakes I ever made in my life. If you like First Aid Kit as much as I do, then also when you get a chance check out Lake Street Dive, another group producing wonderful new music in an era where it seems hard to find.bogeysbeat.blogspot.com/2018/05/come-on-in-waters-fine-lake-street-dive.html
I'm 67 and also have a background of all kinds of music behind those ears of mine…..and YES these girls are talented, thank GOD they're here cause not much is going on these days…...they are a breath of fresh air…...angels from heaven…...glad i discovered them.!
I read a comment on another post about a lady who lost her husband to cancer. She said ‘My Silver Lining’ was his favorite song. That’s what music is. A soundtrack to life. Her story elevated that song for me and it has become an anthem to grit, determination and optimism. Its now 2020. Let’s push through. We will prevail. Together.

Thanks for posting. These women should be better known. Since 2012 when I first heard of them in NZ, although I missed seeing them, I have been following their career. They still look so young (compared to me :--) but have matured into great performers. I like that they are fearless in their repertoire, covering anyone they like. They also have managed to assemble a talented bunch of guys to accompany them.
Totally agree. Saw them in Melbourne Australia in early 2018. Loved every second of the concert. Twas only through posts like this that I even heard of FAK and only about 18 months prior to the concert. Absolutely no regrets.
Once again the RUclips algorithm is better at suggestions than Spotify. What an amazing group, had never heard of them. Clicked on it because I thought someone was jumping on the Kate Bush bandwagon but now that I've listened to their own songs - Wow! New fan here.
The Kate Bush cover is 4 - 5 years old. ( they have a new cover for every tour, amendment for a local touch, a stop in Denver , the cover is Colorado Girl)
Just thank you!!! Saw you girls in Melbourne and you blew my mind!!! "Gotta keep on keepin' on"...and I hope you both keep keepin' on for a long time to come!!! BEST!!!
Thanks for upload and Klara looks total badass whith black t-shirt and purple eyeshadow i love it! And Johannas pretty dress i love them so much i go crazy
Oh my these humans are fantastic! What a great show, wish i'd be there. So many times the hairs on my arms raised during this show, a certain sign of musical quality for me. That transition from Stay gold to Lion's roar was really moving and gave me a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes.. And that rocker with a message, you guys are the real deal in my world. Keep on keeping on!
Amazing, like so many of their covers. Tiger Mountain Peasant Song, Walk Unafraid, America, Dancing Barefoot. I'm almost ready to say that just like Johnny Cash's covers they sound better than the originals even though Fleet Foxes, R.E.M., Patti Smith, Simon & Garfunkel and Kate Bush are all great artists. Can't wait to hear what other classics they'll take on.
G'day from Aus Robbie. Thanks again for the brilliant post. Your posts are so clear and sound great. Not to float just your boat but Johanna and Klara don't make it too hard. Cheers Robbie.
🦁 Now the pale morning sings of forgotten things She plays a tune for those who wish to overlook The fact that they've been blindly deceived By those who preach and pray and teach But she falls short and the night explodes in laughter Fantastic
First time I've ever heard this concert. I have a lot of experience playing rock and roll. Little bit of country. But I am so impressed by these girls. I hope they go far. I hope they make it to Sacramento California
i have just come back from their polar award performances. Whoever catches emmylou harris, paul simon and patty smith has caught me too. But not too late this discovery for me. Revelation in time
47:26 This part is SOO cute. She's just casually singing along... then it appears she sees herself being projected on the big screen and giggles a bit. Then gets caught back up in the song, trying to act naturally, but slightly reigning in her gusto due to shyness. She captures perfectly how I feel at their concerts. It's hard not to passionately sing along, ha!
ooomd agree with that. Annoying when they are in front of you (and there’s lots of people behind them); plenty of concerts where security take appropriate action.
America has sold out to itself. You have to dig and search for the GREAT music - it's not easy to find because "social media" which is all about the average to not so - controlling everything. These ladies are AMAZING and their band.
C'mon old men (I'm 53 BTW) ... it's just super talented 20 something females with near mutant like abilities ... we will always bow to that power. And they have it real good; in spades. ;-) ... I bow. to them both.

Damn almost the same. I am only 53 though :)
Strongly agree !
Couldn't agree more Anthony. I just own less vinyls, and I'm a tad bit younger. Wonderful music!

They make such good songs but the recognition they receive doesnt match up to it. Feels bad man. 😣😔
Lottie The hero of the comment section 👍🏻
Merci 😊
I’m 65 and just today “Found First Aid Kit”! WOW! Hope I live long enough to watch them get along!
Every time I see these sisters sing I can't get enough of them keep up the good work girls love your talent
The amount of talent is almost unimaginable.
The only group that mesmerize me. Every time.
Steel guitar is hauntingly beautiful!!
it's always hauntingly beautiful. It's the magic of the instrument.

I remember hearing "It's a shame" once and loving it, now, here I am. One of my favourite ever bands.
That's the one that hooked me! Saw them live once and cannot wait to see them again. They are a great reason to be alive right now. Thank you Sweden!
After all these years, The Lion's Roar still punches me in the gut as it did the first time I heard it. What a phenomenal song.
It is still their best song. Their performance of "The Lion's Roar" at Glastonbury in 2017 is the best concert video I have ever seen and heard.
The songs are great the vocals even better but let's not forget the band....love the versatility in the musicians let's have a hand for the band!
They are absolutely adorable. I just stumbled on them recently and have to ask myself why I haven't heard of them before? I love their harmonies!!
Stunning spectacle both visually and audibly from start to finish...... love THEM!
What's amazing about them is the crowd is made up of 3 different generations. All blown away by their performance.
I am unreasonably obsessed with Klara's guitar picking style. She makes it look so easy!
explained here ruclips.net/video/BD27YvzSSM4/видео.html
Klara is just the best! Love her!
Great people, great harmonies! Having goosebumps all over! What a performance! Luckily I saw them live in Paradiso, Amsterdam!
Also the other members of the band, top notch!
i was to late to be able to get in the room, because it was already full, but I watched it from outside and they were perfect!
This is a great show, great sound, great songs and great audience, and the girls sings very good to.The best i have seen in a long time.

Stupid sexy Flanders.
Just thank you!!! Saw you girls in Melbourne and you blew my mind!!! "Gotta keep on keepin' on"...and I hope you both keep keepin' on for a long time to come!!! BEST!!!
Totally agree JB. Saw them also in Melbourne 2018. Brilliant. Cheers JB (also)👍

Such a great opening song. Sets the tone for the whole gig. Love that crispy clear voice of Klara.
I’d buy an album of just their covers. I’ve got all the others!
Me too, they just smash covers. I particularly love their abba covers
Two voices complementing each other as only siblings can!
I love those girls !

Anthony, I totally agree with you. These ladies are just amazing!
I love these ladies. If i was a young man I would cut my heart out and send it to Klara!
Andrew, I think I understand your comment, but it really does a horror-movie element to it. Be well.
Wouldn't do any good mate, she's a Vegetarian. ;O)
Some of my friends were introduced to them via the show in LA, me via Coachella. Amazing musicians.

First time I've ever heard this concert. I have a lot of experience playing rock and roll. Little bit of country. But I am so impressed by these girls. I hope they go far. I hope they make it to Sacramento California
They did play at Letterman 3 or 4 times and he went down to the stage every time, probably as far as this kind of music goes...
Great music!
Thrilling!
just i lov u
i have just come back from their polar award performances. Whoever catches emmylou harris, paul simon and patty smith has caught me too.

Sorry, but that is all but "cute. Acutally the kind of people you hope are not around you at a concert.
ooomd agree with that. Annoying when they are in front of you (and there’s lots of people behind them); plenty of concerts where security take appropriate action.
@@ivooMD Cripes. What a killjoy - why don't you stay at home then. She was jus enjoying herself.
@@MTMF.london Suuure. Me me me - above all other people around her. Probably you and her should be the ones staying home.
@@ivooMD Yeah, sucks eggs all these years, eh? 😝😝😝
I found this music on SoundCloud.
4:17 holy shit!
Best thing since The Everlys without doubt.
First aid kit x belle and seb would be wonderful.......get inouch with them Stuart..
These ladies have guts too, very brave to speak out against rape en sexism. Well done!!
Apparently these girls are Swedish. It's like all great music is secretly from Europe, these days.
America has sold out to itself. You have to dig and search for the GREAT music - it's not easy to find because "social media" which is all about the average to not so - controlling everything. These ladies are AMAZING and their band.
Their harmonies remind me of The Everly Brothers. So good.
Family harmony - can't be beat.
Big ups to the guy in the England bucket hat, top lad 😂
Sam Lomax can only assume Ocean Colour Scene we’re on straight after...
C'mon old men (I'm 53 BTW) ... it's just super talented 20 something females with near mutant like abilities ... we will always bow to that power. And they have it real good; in spades. ;-) ... I bow. to them both.
Good
girl at 47.35 amazing syncro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Indeed 47:35
My gosh who are these sirens of harmony?
i wouldn’t love them any less in potato sacks but i just have to applaud these sisters fashion choices 👍👍🔥🔥
spetacular...
And the backing band is made up of what seems to be ex mercenary soldiers. I fucking love it.
Yep. If anyone ever tried to harm one of those sweet young ladies, they would be
in a helluva lot of trouble that is for sure!!
Is their a more life-affirming band than First Aid Kit? Is there?
Good show, but I wish they hadn't cut Ghost Town out of the set list. It's their best song and they know it.
