Geez at the spool of fishing line!!! My grandad has done this for years, actually saw my great-grandad do it first but that's been many moons ago. McGie, thanks for keeping your videos simple and straight to the point. Idk how many videos I pass over that are 10-15+ min long because I know there's only about 5 min worth of good content. I would watch a 10-15 min video of yours all day because I know its 10-15 min worth of good knowledgeable content.
Good morning Micah. That is the biggest spool of fishing line I have ever laid my eyes on. I'd say that has to come a company that makes Fishing Poles already strung with line?? What's tomorrow?? I hope you're fishing line and Marker Defense strategy works this year on the squirrels and the Crows. Awesome blackberries and raspberries!! Yummy Thanks for sharing Micah have a blessed day Stay happy, healthy,, hydrated and safe. May God continued to bless you and your family
I love it for the simple fact I get to watch a video of his damn near every morning before I head off to work. An we do the same at the local fishing Pier to keep the birds off the structures roofs. Great tips from the man himself. Nice job man 👍👊
We've used sticks or dowel rods, wood posts, trotline string, and aluminum foil pie tins around our gardens and corn crops. They kept the crows, deer and rabbits away, and MOST squirrels. Lol! I like your method too. 😁👍
Im out here now chassing them off..I picked a bunch a little to soon cause it figured somethings better than nothing..These dang crows are smart, and my corn patch is to close to the road to start blasting a 12 unless i got a good angle..Ill try this trick, i appreciate the video..I do have scarecrows , and big pieces of aluminum foil all over the place..They just laugh, and chew up the corn..
Please tell me after which animal you ran?😅🤣🤣🤣You did an excellent job with those strings .🧵😎... I'll go and pick raspberries too, but I'll wait a little longer because it's not ripe .😋😜..What does your wife do with raspberries? .🙃.. I usually make jams but I also make cakes with these....🥫🥧😊I want to learn new things.....with raspberries and blackberries!😎
I was chasing a black racer snake 🐍🤪 Not poison...... a good snake for eating mice 🐁 and rats 🐀 I have made a video for next week showing what we do with the blackberries...... very similar to the raspberry. I know you will enjoy it!!!!
What a Great guy!! This man is a wonderful father. His Sons should be very grateful to have such a good Father.
Thanks John……… we definitely get along well!

That’s a truly great complement my friend! I just read that out loud to entire family! Thanks for the encouragement!!!
You could maybe get Frank to stand out in the field to scare crows🧙♂️
That would be SCARY!!!😂😂😂
Lol

Awesome Micah... where'd you hide the camera ?? 😅🤣😅
😂😂😂😂😂
That spool isn't cheap lol that's a few hundred dollar spool I think don't quote me on it depending if it's mono, braided or fluorocarbon
An that's about an average size spool they have bigger ones but that's the average size.
Thanks for sending along the link.
You’re absolutely welcome!

Thanks my friend! Anything to protect the corn!!!
That's right no crows here. This also works to keep blue heron out if the ponds 🤘
Wow that’s great information! Thanks!!!
Your potatoes got blooms really quickly!
Yes we’ve had some really good potato growing weather 😍
Great. Plan pray it works out for you
Thanks brother!

Fishing line really worries them!
❤️love this video
Thanks my friend!!
Great tip . Wild black berry hard to beat
Absolutely! Especially big juicy ripe ones!!!
Hope it keeps the crows away for you Brother. If it worked last year, it should work again. Crows can be such a destructive bird. Best wishes
Thanks brother! I just don’t have time to sit there and shoot em!😂
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures ha ha ha ha ha.
That a bunch of fishing line. Good idea. 👍
Beautiful berries. I see cobbler in your future.
Getting ready to shoot a cobbler video now!😜😜😜
That's a really good idea ! I never had a issue with crows . Are you going to hang a crow out there this year ?
I would love to but I don’t have time to hunt!😤
Good luck
Thanks brother!
That's right. There extremely intelligent.
We don't really have the crow problem. Our problem is the dogs wanting to run through the corn patches at full speed wrestling.🤣
Definitely understandable 😂😂😂
Interesting. I just ran twine about 12 inches above my corn in an x pattern. Crows won’t enter an area they think they will caught in.
That’s another great idea!!
The only way I know to keep squirrels out of a crop is a 22 long rifle mmm mmm good squirrel stew
I definitely enjoy a squirrel feast!
😊
Cool bean
It works very well!
👍🏽
Catch clean cook….crow! Do it 😃
Ok ok I will! “McGie eats crow!”
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures lol..I handed you that one on a silver platter :-)
You know I’ve eaten everything out there...... crow ain’t bad.😋

😂😂😂 it would be awesome 😂😂😂
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures 😛
Did it work
Absolutely! Not a problem after that!
Thanks, great to hear something works
The other thing that works is to hang a dead crow out in the field! But that is not always easy to get!
From *_GoPro_*

They look yummy
