Helldivers 2 HUGE Major Order Update! New Stratagem & Helmet HUDs...

- Do you choose the weapon, or save the children? The choice is yours Helldiver.
Here's the latest in Helldivers 2 News!
We actually completed the previous Major Order, and we were all hoping for a bit of a break from the bots. No such luck! We just got a New 4-Day Major Order where we have to choose to either liberate Marfark, and gain access to the MD-17 mines, OR, we save the children on Vernen Wells.
Atmospheric effects are getting a bit out of hand, and this needed to be said. How would like a custom HUD display based on the helmet you wear? And finally, a real, feel-good story that brings us back to just enjoying the game.
Thanks again for all your awesome and continued support!

HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

Save the mines
Don't let the poor mines suffer.
The kids will help greatly in the war effort
As a distraction while we capture the critical raw ingredients necessary to produce the MD-17 AT mine
In the major order, survivors are in a children's hospital and not children in a hospital. So they don't have to be children.
@@viCciCTR100% going to be full grown class A super citizens as usual haha 😂 There are legal reasonings behind that though, they legally cannot show children being killed in such a brutal way even though it’s a video game not to mention it’s illegal for game developers to allow you, the player, kill children!
Save the kids... then put them to work creating mines. 💪👶👍
Put them to work in the mines for materials for mines.
but they can't hold the monkey wrench the right way - just look at that psa from super earth on your destroyer's screen... ;)
The children yearn for the mines… i’ll see myself out 🚶🏻➡️
Brilliant.
i dont know man, children working on mines, they dont have any sense of quality ;)
Save the children!!! There's probably a super secret reward for it
this will be a recruitment center at best

Arrowhead really said "you can either have the AT mines you have missed for the last month or you can trade it all in for what's in this box"
"The box, the box!"
There could be anything in that box! Even AT mines!!
either that or they just dont give us anything 💀💀
@@methodman6725 "Hey neighbor, where's your AT mines?" "We didn't take the AT mines, we took the mystery box... hop in!"
The planet visibility wouldn’t be such a problem if the bots didn’t have HUD upgrades already and we didn’t.
We need to get some mini windshield wipers installed on our helmets 😅
Can't wait for helmets passive Maybe 2030 we will get it lol
@@touyang7172jeez dude keep the church in the village
Fighting bots in heavy fog sounds fun, but only if they see bad, too!
There robots
I'd prefer helmet modules that we can insert into helmets. This is so that we can still pick the helmet we like visually.
I agree, I'll sacrifice aesthetics for bonuses but I prefer not to if given the option because I like having a theme going for each load out.
I agree, I find the helmet is like your character's personality almost, or your face so to speak.
I don't want to see every single helldiver rocking the same helmet because of a certain stat
bla bla bla something about bacon apples
Yeah this is definitely what they should do - give you a bit of actually modification freedom. Same could apply to capes and eventually weapon upgrades. Charge us massive requisition and samples to attach the mods if they like - gives us a motivation to collect both.
We can do both planets, but the Children come first of course. We will prevail without AT-Mines, but we can't abandon valiant Super Earth citizens just like that.
Unique HUDs for each Helmet or Helmet type would be cool.
U weird bro 😂
@@rpsanchez87He's not weird, he's a patriot and a Helldiver. We fight for Super Earth, not for shiny baubles
It's not just the children. Vernen Wells is a strategic planet and the SEAF reinforcements (basically our rate of Liberation) is increased if we take it.
The planet that gets liberated first will happen
@@RaZeyLWindBladEI thought the training facilities were permanently lost
My thoughts on the helmet HUDs... Medics could see HP bars, engineers could see the arc of grenades thrown and an AOE range, Scouts could see an outline/highlight of the weak points on any marked enemy, stuff like that
👍
That would be great, make choosing your helmet more than just asthetic.
I would love to see scouts with patrol routes or when enemy visibility range like a giant city circle much like top down shooters
Engineers should also see samples and supplies at a distance. Make sample hunting easier.
Or what about being able to see a red outline and where artillery/eagle strike is going to hit so you can Dodge it more efficiently
A weapon we need would be a stim pistol. Where we can heal teammates who aren't near you. So those who like to play as medic can do it from a distance
You have at least one medic in waiting.
Or support backpack with a healing ray that would also be nice
@@stuartwithers8755make that 2 medics in waiting.
@@robertpayne6353there was a rumor of a medical backpack
Or bring back the REP-80 and the AD-289. The REP-80 was a gun that could heal divers and repair vehicles, and the AD-289 Angel was a guard dog backpack that had (essentially) a weaker version of the REP-80 but could also heal its user. Now with healing working a little differently in HD2 the REP-80 would probably have some kind of cooldown or ammo mechanic, but would still be nice to have.
New Reward Stratagem: Deploy Children
i see Megan androids and Chucky dolls dropping from the sky
Tactical safe spaces, social worker launchers and heat seeking self help books need to be standard issue
"Deploying anklebiters."
Oh damnit, vile title! Deploy the “flares”!
I have wanted the mines since they gave us the first major order. That said, how can we possibly call ourselves Super Earth's finest if we let those children die?
We can't let those future Helldivers die. 😅
Imagine the community says "Fuck them kids" and then reinforcements get cut down lol
As someone else commented, winning this is likely to do something like give us back the recruitment centre on Vernen Wells, which would be very Helldivers...
'We have liberated you children of Super Earth for you are the future of Managed Democracy!'
'Now here are your HDC-1 compulsory conscription forms for mandatory acceptance - welcome to the fight junior Helldivers!'

They need to add perks for helmets that give vision improvement like heat vision or night vision
Drop calculation hud would be nice for long range shots and weapons with large amount of arc.
Maybe 2030
It woul be cool to see at least _something._ I would really like to see some of the armors change their stats or perks as well. They're all a little mundane being so similar.
Capes should have passives with superlative descriptions that don't actually do anything lol. I think that wiuld be some beautiful satire
No we need a capes that we can use to hide ourself or a cape that help with flame resistance or damage resistance
I support this satirical idea. It feels like true Helldiver fashion. XD

There's a loophole, it does say "Only the first planet liberated is likely to be saved". But therein lies the hole in the wording with "likely". What if they were liberated close to or at the same time? Maybe that's part of the challenge to see if Helldivers can coordinate efforts.
Things I've noticed about the low-visibility planets.
1. Bots can shoot you just fine, but it's not the worst to shoot them back. If they're at mid-range you can usually pick out their eyes well enough to land a headshot, and you can intuit where the body mass is well enough to make an educated guess and verify with the hit markers. But tanks can still surprise you.
2. The low visibility feels like it makes it easier to stealth. I've definitely passed danger close to a bot patrol while crouched and wearing standard armor, and just had them not see me when normally I feel like they would. Requires testing, and could also be bug behavior. Hard to say, but something to think about.
3. It feels like the low visibility weather affects the Spear's lock-on. Even in situations that would normally permit a spear lock-on I find that it will fail. Requires testing, doesn't help that the spear is still jank. This is an insult to me personally, because I want to shoot fabricators with missiles.
This guy right here. ☝️
It makes sense the automatons can see through clouds and rain. I always assumed those red eyes give them infrared vision. I actually really enjoy the low visibility oftentimes. It’s really immersive and increases anxiety, and makes me think about conflicts like Vietnam where the weather actually determined a lot about the war. For all other shooters, rain just makes everything look shiny, but it doesn’t affect the gameplay as it should.
However, this does not apply to environmental effects that KILL you *cough cough* FIRE TORNADOES *cough cough*.
Yet they cant see through my smokes. XD
Fire tornados are pretty and add tension.
Those tornados are sentient. They always know how to converge on you. :D
I also suspect the ion storms intentionally time themselves for when there’s one person left so they can’t call in reinforcements or stratagems. The Oilcans have subverted the game AI! Joel got too close to the truth.
IR is stopped by clouds and rain
Yeah dude it’s so fun on every single god damn map not being able to see
Those children over the age of 7 can probably make some pretty high-tech weapons with their small hands putting the tiny parts into place.
Honestly I love the actual planet visiblity.
🤦
Then go without a helmet
Planet visibility can be solved a bit when put bloom effect off...
Same. I just want the sun glare to be toned down and enemies to have the same visibility
Same it’s the best for immersion settings
Let's do it for the kids. Who knows if we save them they can become our stratagem NPC soldeirs call for help
I kind of like the limitation. Poor visibility, especially against bots, makes things pretty spooky.
I think the lack of visibility just makes the experience more fun and immersive overall its awesome walking through fog a blizzard sandstorm what have you and then just running into a squad of bot or bugs and then struggling to reach your allies through blinding and the visual effects aswell in those moments make the game so much better for me
Hunting down a Stalker nest in a blizzard feels straight out of a horror scifi movie
@MrCurlyFriess bro fr fr thats the best part of the game to be traversing through a sandstorm then a damn charger and hunters emerge and murder your ass so many great clips from stuff like that
We made it this far without the mines, but couldn't of without HellDivers. Save the future HellDivers, I mean kids!
Helm/HUD perks:
Scout-Reduce CC effect on user, Ping reveals enemy outlines, Pinged enemies take increased crit damage (scout only) more detailed radar (see secondary objectives on map)
Medic-See Stim Packs on field. Increase Stim inventory by 1, when allies pick up stims Medic gains +1 stim, Stim use whether on yourself or using them on allies will share the effects by 50% to allies within 30 meters.
Engineer-Turrets/Mech performance (Durability and firepower) increased by 20%, can open Bunker doors solo, increased weakspot damage vs Automatons, faster objective speeds when using Terminals and faster call in times for objective based stratagems (Hellbombs, drills and hardrives)
Sniper-Enemy outlines while scoped, increased Weakspot damage, shots pierce weaker enemies (for explosive snipers no explosive falloff) +1 Penetration of armor
For the Helmet HUDs, it sounds to me like it wouldn't be huge game-changers, just enough that they feel different. Like the medic helmet; everyone can already see player health bars, just on the side of the screen where your focus is less on. Outlines on enemies, unless that stays when they go past cover, will maybe make aiming 20% easier, but not that much. I'm all for them, should they decide to continue with that idea.
Watch these AT mines be absolutely busted when we finally get them
I really like the feel good story at the end. Adding one at the end of every video would be really nice
We gotta save those kids!
I want those AT mines. I want to cover the entire map in land mines of all kinds.
I'd love to see helmet perks. Drone Helmet could have a radar amplifier or heat signature readings, Health for medic helmets, a helmet to limit impact trauma, stuff like that.
If you're on Helldive lvl and its crazy foggy or what not, I'd have to say, "oh well thats war"...the planet doesnt care and war is never easy.
For the armor HUD it would be nice to be able to see where your genades and stratagems are going to land. For exemple with the passive that augment your launch range
I want macaroni art on the ship from the kids we save. Simple enough.
That would be pretty cool to see on your ship
I'd be down for helmets providing visibility perks. Drop in smoke ordnance and still being able to see everything stumbling around in there would be nice.
Upgraded helmet HUDs could solve the visibility problem; For low visibility planets we could bring something that would track/outline enemies outside of our normal sight range. Or maybe have a switch where we can go into infrared mode.
Helldivers: ONLY the first planet you save counts
This guy: omg we can save both the children and the mines
I think the helmet hud thing would be great honestly, like say medics can actually see the health values of each player and see how much damage each player takes, recon can spot enemies from a set distance like they get out lines within 50 meters or something, and if you have a heavy helmet weak spots are outlined for you within 10 meters, I’m not saying they should do these but I feel for a game set in the future, it would make sense for some helmets to have these passive that feed right into the hud, and if people don’t like it they could always make it an option to turn off
I’m not crying from that story with the kid!! you are!!! 😢😂 beautiful reminder of what this games all about!
The smoke is fine but the glare is painful even with bloom off
I'd dig if recon helmets helped ID POI on the map or added extra zoom to aiming. Or Engeneering added the ability to see vehicle health. It would be very helpful with piloting the exos. Enemies and Vehicles had health bars in the 1st game.
👍
I think that saving the children will offer something in the future... like maybe extra lives in mission or the support troops stratagem.
I've always said that if we can get armor perks why not helmet? Especially since they always have an option for them but it's always empty. Something like thermal or gas mask and possibly snorkel gear can really change how we move and engage the enemy
SAVE THE CHILDREN guys, they surely will be very gratefull and thank us by Joing the Army when they Grow older !
Think there is something incredibly cool and immersive about the fact that some planets have poor visibility conditions etc. The absolute mayhem of being suppressed by blaster fire from various angles through thickets and fog etc is one of the things that makes this game great. Not every planet should be a stroll through the park. This game was always supposed to be nigh impossible on highest difficulty. Keep it that way, and I’d rather have it through weather conditions etc than weapon nerfs that we all suffer.
I'll do without those mines, as much as I wish I could have them. Gotta brush up on my Factory Strider busting with the AMR
Hey father of two here.
Same thoughts like the guy at the end.
I dont have much time for video games now with my family so i have to be really really picky with my games.
Every game has its problems...elden ring, halo, you call it , they have it.
*Inhales*
Helldivers is the most coop fun i have had since mass effect 3 multiplayer.
Never thought that battefield 1 would be only second on my immersion list.
Thanks arrowhead for such an awesome experience.
Huds should not be unique they should be uniform but they should be intelligent or toggled "the option for both either".
Enemy out lines as an option is logical, realistic and solves one of the major problems.
👍
Yes, to the HUD. It would just have to be done well, with the ability to turn separate features off so that you can tailor it to your play style. With the ability to toggle it off on the fly or through the settings tab.
What primary were they rocking at the end there?
I like the fog. It is so cinematic to have a hail of bullets coming from the fog and blind fire hope to hold back the coming waves. It feels like a movie
Children or more things to blow stuff up? More mouths to feed or more things to blow stuff up? Guilt trip or more things to blow stuff up? 🤔
"You don't have to worry about farming for gear"
_Looks at warbonds, all the ship upgrades that require tons of samples..._
It’s a great game to play if you don’t like or don’t wanna deal with the edge of your seat craziness that is most online games. It’s nice to play something laid-back for a change
The planet weather obstructing vision,
I think its fine.
It add to the challenge, and keep things feels a bit different between planets.
It is a PVE game, it does not always need to be fair and easy.
All I hope is more planet and map diversity.
Also try this, with fullteam:
go into a planet with heavy fog, set your brightness settings significantly lower, then go at night mission (dark side of the planet)
The difficulty is insane, but the tension is high all time when your visibility is only a small flashlight and few meters ahead.
My teammates that loves solo actions finally stick together for once after a long time, helping and covering each other.
Completely agree on the visibility issue. I'm beyond sick of getting overrun without knowing what's going on. It's killing the fun.
A reason to switch to the darkside....cool.
We do need a thermal or low light piece of kit upgrade or say RF direction detection so we can be alerted to patrols before we see them.
👍
The visibility *or lack of* is the charm of it. I think that makes the game that much more awesome. It's more engrossing.
Totally can relate to that last story. Casual gamer playing maybe 1 night a week, don’t enjoy sweaty battle royales but that’s what my friends play so tag along. But this game man!!! I haven’t been sucked in and had this much fun since I first got an n64 console when it first came out, I even reconnected with old high school friends who I used to game with at LAN parties. Showing my age but point is the game just creates this collaborative experience that is so satisfying for all players.
Hey Buzz im just hear to say ive been watching these since the first month of HD2 dropping. You've been w great short form content Creator and ive loved watching most of your content types (p.s thanks for the updates all the time), im glad we have as many great divers in the community that live up to their HELLDIVERS title, cant wait to see the next one!
Helmet HUDs would be pretty nice. However, I’m not sure what they mean by the medic and seeing health. Does that mean seeing your own health (aka removing that visibility from the standard helmet)? Does it mean seeing your teammates health (also removing that standard visibility)? Does it mean seeing enemy health?
If I could get a helmet that could show the predicted arc for a thrown grenade or stratagem, ooh I’d have a field day
I was fighting on Vernen Wells 5 weeks now and didnt see any progression at the front... now its lost with so many good Helldivers given their lives to save as many as possible. Now seeing this. I know where its going to end.
Ya know what 7:21 I appreciate the honesty right there. Please implement these updates. I know you guys wanna do it right!
Here’s my thoughts as to what they’re planning with this order. If we choose to save the mines research we will get those mines instantly (well after the order ends and they update the game obviously) which will make a lot of people happy. But it’s a trick. See, saving the children will likely cost us two or so weeks of the research time to get the mines. So after the order we’d have to wait considerably longer for the mines, but here’s the kicker. The mines come with a bonus effect, or bonus stratagem or Booster or even Super Credits and Medals (say, 500 super credits awarded to every player who helped complete the save the children order) as a war donation from those children’s families campaign efforts and donations to honor the divers who saved their children haha
Edit: my bad not on what they’re planning but something that would make more sense and be freaking awesome
8:15 The helmets would make players feel more in a role because of the information they have exclusive access to
Id rather see 2 new backpacks. A healing backpack drone that you can asign to your squad mate (auto return at 20-30m) and a re-arm drone. Also, the ability to use a resupply backpack on turrets.
HUD options would be great. If the armor sets have passives, maybe they can implement helmet passives. Wouldn’t be a bad touch
Amazing work to the bugs players who came to bots to help the major order! That’s why you’re the goats! The goats!! 🐐
Low visibility is fun, I love seeing an army of bots just suddenly come out of the mist.
"The lives of all the galaxies children is in our hands!"
on the helmet HUD discussion, the helmet HUD I want put in the game is a sample scanner. I want to see outlines of samples at a greater distance.
I think the bots also have problems with visibility, they don’t see you at some distance, use it.
I think it would be fun if the helmets would have night of heat vision. Also with the side affects of when light shines in your Direction and blind you. And when on a snow or desert storm you can use heatvision. So you have decent vision up to 30 or 50 meters. Or only visible aiming mode. To see a quick scan of the battlefield.
honestly i would like it if the enemies could see less rather than us seeing more. Would add a unique stealth bonus to foggy planets and the atmosphere of walking through dense fog not knowing whether or not a patrol is five feet in front of you would be really cool. I feel the plaents would lose their charm if they just decreased the fog.
helmet huds would be a great addition to the current game, with a passive here and there, itd be great if there was more things to have instead of cosmetics but they had a time crunch and had to cut most things for launch, itd be nice to see them return later down the line tho
Yeah, the helmet idea is great.
You talked about low visibility planets.
Imagine getting a helmet that could let you see through smoke, spores, or blizzards.
Or maybe a helmet that can point you in the direction of main objectives without having to open the map; and ones the satellite link is connected even gives you the location of secondary objective, or points of interest.
How about a helmet that greatly outlines weak points in enemies depending on the weapon/penetration you're currently using.
Or a helmet that shows you the actual angle a stratagem will fall from depends on the locations of your super destroyer.
How about a helmet that allows your lock on weapons to aquire targets faster.
Or my favorite, a helmet that will allow you to target specific enemies using century turrets by pressing "Q" on them!
There are tons of players still having fun in spite of bugs, nerfs, etc. It would be nice to get more of the player base back. 12 million copies sold but only 80k-100k divers at a time are not great numbers.
That post was gold... thx for sharing
I wish they would make it look like people were still actually living in the planets we visit cuz it just looks decimated every time, definitely not in good enough condition to have a children’s hospital.
For the planets I like the effects I just want them to affect the enemies like they do us. OR add a special enemy variation that can see through fog or something idk.
the atmospheric conditions affect helldivers and bugs/bots the same. now do the bots have special optics that can see through? I doubt it cuz a smoke grenade renders them useless like a flashbang.
I would 100% be down for custom huds for helmets man. A custom sniper hud that gives me like range increments, or a range finder etc etc. A recon hud that pulses and marks targets, would be dope.
I don’t think different HUDs would be worth the effort. I just can’t imagine them having enough options that would be interesting and valuable. Also, I wouldn’t want to have to choose between having a helmet that looks good and one that performs good. Like if my helmet options got knocked down to like 2-3 options that matched the effects I needed, that’d be a bit of a buzzkill. The most likely scenario would end up with there being a meta helmet option that was just better than the others and now all of us are wearing the same helmet which would be dumb.
Besides balancing the weapons to make more of them both fun and useful, and fixing bugs. The biggest thing they could focus on is increasing comradery between players. Right now, there’s a massive difference in level of fun between playing with friends with mics, playing with randoms with mics, and playing randoms without mics. There’s also a pretty big wall between lower levels and higher levels. At lower levels you’re pretty much guaranteed to play a silent mission and your odds of playing with a good player that can take you under their wings is non-existent. I like the idea of squadrons, where there’s a larger pool of players where new players and experienced players can intermingle more, and where you are exposed to the same people more frequently so that their personalities are more developed to you and less random. I think they’ll have trouble keeping things fresh enough to retain the playerbase, merely by adding weapons or enemies, but I think it’s much harder to quit the game, when you actively have friends and interplayer bonds made.
If they don't change the visibility with the weather, yes hud on helmet could be a way to salvage it.
Bots shooting through smoke is awesome.
Bots having extreme accuracy while doing so is not awesome.
I use their fire or their eyes to spot them, but even before I fire they can fine me unless I'm in scout armour, then they're often blind as bats until I shoot.
Yeah I don't mind the low viability occasionally, I think the modifier are just over used a a whole. I mean just have more planets with no mods outside of maybe temperature. Also could maybe add another layer into the modifier activity, like this planet has heavy storms that blind and have gusting wind that may slow the player but the intensity of the storm is dependent on how close to the equator or oceans a mission is. Also fire tornado.......those need to fuck off and be dialed back a lot. You can't always hear them come up behind you, they are not random, they actively move towards the player or try to cut them off, and their flame trail last way to long. I've literally sat there for like 5-10 minutes running from fire tornadoes waiting for the fire to go away so I could get my samples and weapons back. Wasting 1/8th to 1/4th of a mission timer waiting of fire to go away is just stupid. Also on ground fire, the fire trail from the orbital laser fix it so its always visible. Numerous times I've been watching it waiting for it to go away, I see the flames fade out, walk through and then catch on fire as the flames fade back in. If the fire can burn me then it should always be 100% visible, none of this fading in and out shit so I'm stuck waiting way longer than I should be because I'm afraid of being burned by ghost fire.
On the helmet HUDs, I think they should be only active if you are wearing the matching suit, Just to stop people from adding another level of min/max of doing shit like running medic armor but recon helmet or whatever.
Also I think new armor ability could be "Bandolier" and it just adds 1-2 mags for every weapon based on what it is. Like most primaries would get 2 mags and supports would only get 1. Most secondaries would also get 2 but some like that grenade pistol only gets 1. This also includes the Guard Dog backpack, it gets 2 mags. Unless they want to let use pick up 1-2 mags from small ammo boxes. Because eating up a teams resupply call in just to refill my drone is stupid. Honestly people would use the shit out of it if it didn't burn its ammo so fast. I play solo mostly so I have the luxury of having all the supplies to my self and can call it in on CD if I need to, but with a team you can't do that. A lot of teams split into pairs and forcing one to take the supply pack just so both pairs can stay supplied is a bit dumb.
Starships, galactic travel, no night and thermal vision, just a tiny torch.
It is a helldiver's trolley problem
anti-tank mines would have fortified Anne's hospital, since the bots are basically walking tanks.
this is what my inner Imperial Fists' urge to fortify positions is saying to me.
I think the custom huds for helmets sounds great and also armor shader's Plus having armor that isn't so cookie cutter, perks two extra grenades or crouching for better better gun control and also maybe Make some of the stratagems upgrades from the ship. Be better than what they give you because this game has so much potential, it's unreal last thing, maybe make a little bit more effort in the customization of character building so it's more immersive. Love the videos, keep it going. Very knowledgeable and very in tune with what the audience would like. Your videos are top notch
I think certain helmets should have an alt view mode for spacific planet effects. Combat that blindness broight up easrlier.
The devs wanting us to get the mines once and for all but also making us feel bad for not saving children
Yes on the unique helmets. I want night vision and thermal vision.
Interesting and cool sounding at the same time. 👍
Loving your Helldivers 2 coverage! One of the best RUclips channels for this game, and your work is greatly appreciated.
I seen the notification from Discord, I immediately clocked out at work so I can watch it 🤣
😂
Thank you for your sacrifice, children.
duude thats the second time you have mentioned the possibility of getting both results - both the last time AND this one clearly states at the bottom of the order we will only get one.
we either save the kids OR we get the mines.
not both.
sucks to be the kids
I'm all for the HUDs on helmets. I think it could be just another useful tool without having to overthink load-out when diving into a game.
Yeah huds would be cool.i just want to see more armour traits. Like armour that increases backpack reload speed, even if it's at the cost of speed/armour.
“The biggest sacrifices require the strongest wills.” I’m not saying f them kids. But if we are to be successful against the soon to be arrival of the illuminate then we need all the firepower we can to stand up against a 3 way invasion.
Leaving future Helldivers to die doesn't seem very Democratic 🤨
@@Vuntermonkey there won’t be a future if superearth is overrun with automatons, bugs and illuminate. We have to crush the threat before it crushes us. We lost scientists and gained exosuits to avenge our fallen. We can always make more babies to fight for super earth but we can’t make more super earths as a home for democracy.
My memory is that Illuminate like to float around. I think mines might not he the answer to them.
We dont need no stinkin mines, save the future helldivers!
RUclips is about as social media as I get. I’ll be 65 at the end of this month and hit level 70 yesterday. I have been gaming since the Pong console hit the store shelves. I prefer FPS games and will admit I haven’t played them all.
Helldivers 2 is the first game I have played where players from around the world unknown to each other will coordinate, teach, and share in a fight against the enemy. Where friendly fire happens and people don’t get blocked. Most noobs willing listen to seasoned players about strategy, tips, and tricks. Yet, some lessons are best learned on the battlefield.
I can honestly say I haven’t had this much fun or laughed so hard playing any other game. I accept the almost weekly tweeking of the game, some bad some good, as they try and improve the game play. Glitch happens. It was sad news to hear so many players who bought the game, played for months then got Sony-ed. Hardly seems fair to them or us as game friendships disappeared.
Im hoping to get my grandson interested in playing. My son plays. He had one of his old computers updated so I could play it without having to buy a PS5. It would be a rare thing to have 3 generations fighting the good fight.
There are no perfect games. People need to chill. Adapt, improvise, and overcome. Don’t take life or gaming so serious it’s not good for you or your health.
