I have some yarn laying around so i decided to make this, still on the back panel but I'm so excited! Im making this for winter! BTW im only 12 and have been crocheting for a few months, I have made things from hats to sweaters to blankets and plushies, and this tutorial and design is by far one of the best and easiest explanations I have ever seen!
Wonderful!
I went ahead and started crocheting down the first side. So glad I took a moment to watch this video and catch up on it to the point I'm at...reason being, I continued on switching out colours the way I had been instead of reversing. Fortunately I'm only just starting the second row of the orange (that should be grey!) Whew 😊. I'm also doing this with a 10mm so that it's bigger. It's looking great so far. I think I'll be making another one in a solid colour next. Thank you so much for these easy to follow instructions!
I finished mine! Oh MJ I AM SO EXCITED to give it to my dear friend. Thank you thank you thank you for showing these videos and teaching us!
Searched and searched for a Cardigan to crochet . This is excellent and easy to follow. Thankyou for taking the time to video
Thank you! 😊
The colors you chose are absolutely beautiful. Thank you for a perfect cardigan to crochet 💕
Yes. I love it
I am finally beginning to make this Cardigan. I bought the yarn almost a year ago. I pray I can follow your pattern.
Love love love the look of this cardigan sweater! ❤️
I love this cardigan! I'm using puzzle yarn, Backgammon; and using a K hook! I'm up to the sleeves, so excited about the way it's put together! It's very pretty! Thank You!
I just made mine too and i love it. Easy to follow this pattern. Thanks MJ.

Ooh yey! 😁 I've just made my very first jumper for somebody but I want a cardigan and this is perfect 👌
Thank you 😊
Hi I'm self taught, started about 7 years ago. I've only done baby cardigans, hats and blankets, This is my 1st adult thing, just purchased the pattern as I need the larger size, Thank you for the tutorial, I can't wait to get started 😍
I just made mine! I made a belt, and love this pattern too!!
Nice and clean. I like the fit
I love the shape of this cardi! It would look great in a solid color too.
I think so too!

I made this pattern it’s so lovely! I however added 4 extra stitches for the bottom of the sleeve as I am a small but my arms are quite muscular 😂 it worked out perfectly ❤️

@@mjsoffthehook My 8 year old daughter wants one now too!! One question...after I did my ribbing, it is wanting to curl some in the front at the corners...will blocking fix this? I believe I had too few sc which is why it is wanting to curl. TIA!
Kwynn playz yes blocking will help. Steamers work amazing too

On the front part after the neck. Do you add a chain every other row all the way down?
💖
Hey i love your pattern and I have a question for you. Would it be complicated to switch the stitch you use for an alpine stitch. I love the cardigan a lot but was wondering if it is really hard to substitute the stitch style. Thank uou and I love your chanel your awsome!!!
pascale 21 you could try it but I have no idea how it will look. It will be a lot thicker/heavier with that stitch.
Theoretically, I could do a normal double crochet stitch instead of the herringbone and still be able to follow along with the same stitch count?
An attractive and amazing way for doing this jacket😍😍..but how many buns of yarn we need to do this jacket???.😊.

Hi MJ, beautiful pattern! I'm just about to seam my work but I have a question about the grey riding. You mention after the first row of hdc to work in the front loops only. But it looks like in the video that you're actually doing it in the back loop, which leaves the nice ridged look. Am I seeing this incorrectly or is the the front loops? Thank you!
Reem Matlak it’s a little deceiving. The hdc has 3 loops so I’m actually working through the second one or the one in the middle. If you turn your work to look at the top of the stitch it is the front loop but because of the 3rd loop it can look like I’m working into the back loop. Hope this makes sense!
Love this! I bought the pattern a couple of years ago and am finally getting g around to making it. By any chance were corrections made afterwords? In the video as you’re going down the right side, you said you had 24 stitches, but the pattern I have says 22. I’m a bit confused. I’m making a large and ended up with 32 instead of 30., but then that does follow what you said in the video, just not in the pattern.
Could I do the collar of the cardigan before sewing it all up? Or is that not advisable?
❤❤❤❤
Como lo puedo obtener en español o con subtitulos
How wide should the back panel be?
Love this gonna attempt to make it bigger any suggestions?

Is this pattern anywhere else?
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Very nice how many people took out the wool
Knit picks has lots of choices that don't have wool. I picked this yarn for its quality and durability that will look amazing wash after wash.
Is there a way to add a hood to this pattern? I love the style and length and pockets, but I'd like it to have a hood too if possible, how might I do that? TIA! :)
I have a question the written pattern says work 5 rows each color and the video says 6 does it matter which one?
What is the bulk of the yarn?
I came across your video to review how it was made and what yarns to use for this project. As I was watching the tutorial just close to the end around 54 or 56.26 you lost footage. 🥰🥰🥰
Hello, i am trying to follow the pattern, but i speak just a little english, i would like to know what it means in the gauge, 13 sts And 9 rows equal to 4 in hbdc, i trying to understand why is This important to know🙈. Thank you
Where can i get this pattern from please
your coupon code doesn't work just thought I would let you know
Thank you! Fixed
I made a long cardigan, but I used a dk yarn from Hobby Lobby. Now whenever I wear it it stretches out. It's now longer than when I first made it. Do you have any suggestions on how to stop it from stretching, and how to get it back to the original length?
Can you put the yarn you used in the dryer? If not make sure to dry flat, don't hang it or it will stretch out.
I guess any worsted weight yarn I’m assume
I don’t like wool yarn much
help i dont understand this at all without her doing the full thing in the video, im confused w measurements especially bc i am using a bigger yarn
I purchased this pattern, and I have a question about a certain few rows. How can I get ahold of you??
Never mind! I had a moment I figured it out! 😂
Why are the shoulder seams always hanging to the elbows
ronnette harvey it’s a drop shoulder design. No shaping or sleeve cap making it a simple cardigan to make
I was working from the pattern (2xl) front panel rows 20-45 . My 45th row ends up being my first row of gray. Then row 46 is sc. I cant get it to match your video where you start you gray with sc which is row 46. I've counted and counted my rows above match your pattern. What am I doing wrong.
I think I have found my mistake. Whoopie!!
Ok great! I was just going to dig into this :)
@@mjsoffthehook It worked perfectly. Thank you for your quick response.
Bwere can I find the pattern please
