The pattern says ch 1 at the beginning of every row for the bands but here you say ch 2 (17:06) at the beginning of every row, so which is right?
The band would be ch1, the body would be ch2

I purchased your pattern, the brava acrylic in seashell & since your fingering yarn is not available, I subbed with alpaca cloud lace weight in bernice heather which comes in hanks. Is it appropriate to ball both yarns together loosely or should I ball up the alpaca then crochet it together with the brava off the skein?
Um you mentioned how many rows to make for the back but not how many stitches should be used can you please clarify thanks
