I always thought you needed to let it sit for like 10 to 15 minutes until it bubbled or something like that. Also, my loaf pans are small. I use them for the cake like quick breads. Thank you Michelle ♥ You only need to activate dry active yeast, for other types it's not necessary. If you're using dry active, just mix it with water and wait about 10 minutes for it to foam. As for the pan, I'll get back to you with an answer later, I'm away and can't measure it right now.

Hi! The best result I've had was with 1/3 of the bread flour replaced with whole wheat flour. The consistency remains the same, but the flavor is even more amazing! You can try replacing half of the flour and see how it goes, ut should still be fine and taste even better.
