I think there's no device yet that can support a game that large and may make the game boring cuz of that many.

This vid was released before the announcement of Gen Ultimate. All we had to go off of at the time was Val's Japanese name of Varufaruku, roughly Valfalk or Valphalk.
Because it's a common trait in Jpn action fantasy MMO and or RPG games for the main character either solo or in some cases also with some help from few others, to be able to slay/defeat from god-like beings to straight up god/goddess just because they can.
Even the fact when the societies in the rest of the world aside from the main character & the few others who helped it in said games are actually fears and sometimes also worshipping those powerful beings.
Take example to games like Final Fantasy, Bayonetta, Asura's Wrath, Persona 4, Fate Grand Order etc, and Monster Hunter is no exception to that.

Elder Dragons don't exist in Final Fantasy, but that's how it's classified in MHW.
Velkhana, Namielle, Safi’jiiva, Shara ishvalda, Wind serpent ibushi, and Thunder serpent narwa are the new elder dragon

@@Overlysarcasticfox Technically speaking, there are several different ways for water to catch on fire, primarily an overabundance of methane or having a flammable substance like oil being part of it. This is an elder dragon though so there's no telling how tf this happens.

Weird thing with Nergi. Regular version is quite weak though you could argue that he's designed to kill elder dragons, not humans. Then you get regular tempered Nergi which is a little harder but still easy. Then you get AT Nergigante which is a HUGE leap up in power.
From this we can imagine that Nergigante only become worthy of the name after having lived a long time and devoured a lot of other elder dragons.
@@MrCompassionate01 Actually, there's a whole subspecies of Nergi that's just one that's gone through many battles, called Ruiner Nergigante, it shows up in monster hunter world iceborne. Imagine AT that!

I enjoyed underwater combat because so many monsters had to be nerfed coming into 4u, gen, and gen u. Although I think lagiacrus was powered up for generationz
I would love to see it come back and also see what new things Capcom can do with it now that we have the switch and other consoles that can handle far better mechanics than 3ds ever could.

Dravonista Awesome video, but there is actually a fourth elder dragon from MH Explore. It’s name is Eo Garudia, and it is the fire counterpart to Nefu Garumudo :)
well he was just introduced recently and this video was made in May, but maybe in the near future, Dravonista could make a later video involving other new elder dragons.

These are just elder dragons(which are the most powerful kind). There are still wyverns, Fanged wyverns, Bird Wyverns, Carapaceon and many more category.
I wish Versa Pietru was in a main series Monster Hunter game. It has a gorgeous design. I'm a bit upset it was unobtainable in Stories (though I understand why this might've been.) Still, I think it would make a good addition, from a spinoff or not.

Anyone besides me feel Zorah Magdaros is an more evolved version of other types of Elder dragons (like Lao).

@FinalHunter possibly because of predators like abyssal Lagiacrus and Ceadeus. A Lao would have a big dissadvantage under water. I think the theory is far-fetched, but here is a reasonable explantion for you.

A fun fact: According to the MH lore a normal Fatalis possess so much power that it strikes fear in any and all monsters, even elder dragons, to the point that they will abandon their territories just to stay away from it, with the only possible exception being other dangerous first class monsters, all of who are above the other known elder dragons in the MH food chain (consisting of the Fatalis bros, Dire Miralis, Alatreon, and Dhisufiroa), making White Fatalis one of, if not, the most powerful elder dragon by MH Lore.
Also Fatalis melts the hunters it kills onto it's scales to bolster it's defenses, in contrast to how monster parts are used for making gear.
So now you know what'll happen to you when you fail three times in a Fatalis quest.
How about the fact that the hunter who wears fatalis armore turn into a new fatalis

Yep. Thematically, it’s because it’s a unicorn. Taxonomically, they have nowhere else to put it (I don’t think horses are a thing). Powerfully, it’s a teleporting horse with the power to change the weather to thunderstorms if it wants

@Randel Daora actually, Jho has been said to be capable of fighting and sometimes even winning of elder dragons. That said, I'm not sure that involves a lot of them. possibly kirin and maybe chameleos, but can't think of many others right of the bat.
@Randel Daora I'm not a fanboy of jho, he's anoying, but if you go into his eco details it states he is capable of fighting elder dragons. as for rajang. it literally states their diet consists of kirin, and kirins bio literally states that its only predator is rajang. also, do not forget Jho's dragon breath is the weakness of elder dragons. i'm not saying he will always win or can win of every elder dragon, thats bullshit. but it's litterally in his bio that several elder dragons have to watch out for deviljho.

The one thing I wish I could do (but don't have the skill) is to edit monsters to have variant abilities, bringing back all the variants and the such like the Dioras and oroshi Kirin (suicidal)

Newbie Gamer I was so surprised and happy that someone also likes Duremudira like me. People in the comments section these days are all about Disufiroa and Hunting Road White Fatalis. Duremudira is so underrated and unique.

Monster Hunter- let's make these monsters as realistic as possible
Frontier- add colors and new attacks then give some vague reason as to why they're different BECAUSE WE WANT THAT GREEN PAPER
@FinalHunter ok I meant normal monsters, such as diablos and then the glowing red thing that decided to eat different cacti and thats why it glows
Edit: elder dragons in general push the boundaries of biology, but the average monsters we kill actually have a biological makeup that makes sense for their habitat and their habits, unlike any monster exclusively in frontier
@FinalHunter yeah the developers definitely didn't just go "take diablos, put it in a volcano, give it glowing areas and spikes like every other thing we make, then we'll take the last minutes to think of a reason as to why it's like this"
@FinalHunter game developers in general are lazy but unlike frontier, you don't feel like your fighting a boss, you feel like your fighting a cornered animal on its own turf.
I think a good example is Disufirda, the Disfigured dragon. World had Xeno'jiva, which fit for the area because it looked unnatural the n purpose, but it clearly still had a solid theme. Disfigured looks like a claw is poking out of his chest and be just finished painting it's nails. The color choices are baffling on it, with a pale body and a weird blood underbelly, with glowy points. It looks ridiculous. Same with that weird golden crystal thing. Some designs are smart from that series, but it clearly is made by a different art team.
@FinalHunter There's a point where the justifications don't really hold up for ridiculous designs like that. Eating gold wouldn't make anything turn gold, but eating silver causes people to turn blue. It clearly was made design first, with an artist saying "oh man, it's so cool".
But, they do that for every monster.
When I see that fire and ice dragon, I couldnt tell that it was either. I will say this, I commented when I was very sleepy, and that gold ice one is a lot less terrible now that I realize it's a cousin of Kushala Daora. Honestly, if they had put a texture over it's wings that made it look more like ice was all over it, or maybe make it hang down like actual ice, it'd look more natural.
HOWEVER, I'm not going to just say "blah blah one is trash" or some crap. I've got to say that Eruzerion does the fire and ice theme well for it's colors, and I like the usage of big horns to set it apart. Yama Kurai looks cool and a bit creepy, and gives some much needed love to it's unusual species.
Also, while I find many designs from the online/frontier to be a bit much, I can say they are still a lot better than some other designs. Zorah Magnaros is just a big walking rock. Great Jagras, while not an elder dragon, shows that Monster Hunter World tried to be realistic, but not sometimes it led to boring designs. I guess I don't want too much realism, so much as I don't want the illusion of making sense within the world shattered, and the very different designs in specific elder dragons makes me not as much of a fan.
I'd still buy them if i could, tho.
