    Steve Young is one of the most entertaining quarterbacks to watch when he scrambled. It was like watching an action movie, where the hero gets out barely alive.

      Steve Young didn’t start for the 49ers until he was about 30 & STILL made the hall of fame & won two MVPs. As soon as his career ended the 49ers immediately went from a contender to look like an expansion team. That shows you how damn good he was.

      @@andrewjamshidi1549 exactly. They were 12-4 in 98 & were oh so close to making it to the NFC title game. Then they start the 99 season 3-1 with Young starting, then go on to lose 11 of the next 12 when he went down.

    • @BrybesBills
      @BrybesBills 6 лет назад +1

      Big RazO look at the first clip. the man was running straight up and was barely touched when running into 4 defenders. in today’s game, he would be left with a concussion or some broken ribs. young is definitely overrated and wouldn’t run anyone over. his form would leave him with injuries all season long

    • @BrybesBills
      @BrybesBills 6 лет назад

      You know where I like it... i’m saying he is over rated because a lot of people still believe that he could do better than players in today’s era which is false. how much more do you need me to dumb it down for you “idiot”. if you put him in the game today he would be an average dual threat QB, but he could never be the all-time great people put him out to be. you put a lot of QBs from this era back in his years and they would excel. and if you think running someone over is defined as jogging around a stand up defender trying to arm tackle, you need help.

      I guess I am one of the lucky few. I actually witnessed a game winning TD from Joe Montana to John Taylor. Then watched the 49ers destroyed Denver the following year. It was a heart break when Roger Craig fumbled against the Giants, otherwise the 49ers would try a three-peat

      Manning threw 15 INT in 1999 and in 2000 which means the NFL went full on liberal/pussy/snowflake prior to the 1999 season. Manning threw 10 INT in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 9 INT in 2006. All thru 16 games. So the verdict is in. The NFL was tougher in 1998 and prior.
