I saw them 2 months later in Pittsburgh. Great show. Peter Hook was on FIRE.
i was at this gig.i pissed off peter hook when i took a couple of photos and the flash annoyed him,cos i was at the front.He gave me the evil eye so i stopped taking photos! it wasnt the best NO gig,but when they play sunrise,temptation and perfect kiss,it cant get much better.
I cant believe this has surfaced.I remember they didnt start with their shirts off, i think this was the encore

Amazing to see this live performance from the eighties ! For lots of bands there are heaps of newer performances, but trying to find their earlier performances is really tough.

This is a really good performance, even though Bernard messed up a few times. I wish he'd played guitar on the recordings like he does here. It adds so much to end of the song.

Why the guitars? I like the music but a live act they were not. Thank God for The Smiths in 86’.
Why is everyone lying? LOL ! 😃 I love New Order to the ultimate. But Tell the truth instead of following a thread of just good commentary like the next person. This live performance sounds like a train wreck. I know they can do better than this despite it being recorded live in the 80’s. Sorry I truly loved New Order for decades but not this live version.

Its actually how it was played originally.. the older versions of this song are like this. The vocals were a bit off, likely to much back sound and he couldnt hear himself very much.
My favorite song ever but a terrible performance lol. Most of their live performances of the song are shit lol unfortunately. Still my third favorite band ever
