Thanks for the coverage and explanation! As is covered in our press release, all of the changes outlined in the Consent Decree have been made and in place for some time now. We're all relieved to have this looming case behind us now and are excited to continue moving forward with awesome new features on current platforms (ex: VB WRX CAN Flex Fuel) and explore new potential! - Marshall@COBB

Thank you so much for replying I know it's always scary when things like this happen because consumers and even somebody like myself we don't fully understand it so we end up talking about it and becomes one big echo chamber. I'm glad to see that things are getting better for you guys because the last thing I want or the last thing anybody in our community wants is for you guys to be hurt in a way that you can't make cool stuff. 🤘

Yep.... If everyone just switched to led light bulbs, we'd save 9 billion tons of carbon dioxide EVERY year. Cars are responsible for 3-4. Hell, don't even get me started on carbon credits for companies. I'm starting to feel like this is all just done for money tbh. Oh let's switch ac fans from mechanical to electric to save less than a mpg.... I wonder how much pollution was caused during manufacturing, transporting, and disposal of those. If anything, I'd be okay with an extra tax based upon engine displacement like Japan, or emissions from the factory

Let alone the CARBON footprint of manufacturing their GREEN SCAM MOBILES etc. These ghouls who support this sh** claim to be educated but never once bothered to question what is required for ELECTRIC cars. By the time the process is done, which starts at mining and ends at polluting this place with batteries they have yet to safely dispose of and the inefficiency and volatility of the electrical infrastructure, you're left with NO improvements to environment, poorer people, dangerous climate whether with heating or cooling your home. The damage to the ecosystem alone should stop green bs in its tracks if the epa was actually about saving the earth, not being a money grab/control vehicle for human freedom. They keep ALL THE RACING still, Nascar, f1, gt, etc, government fly and drive NON green vehicles on our dime (central banks actually) and someone they think a mild alteration of a cars running parameters will kill polar bears and cause storms. No it's geo engineering combined with thousands of natural factors that cause this, but when they know what they're doing, it's all just a act.

Try reducing your bias as much as possible, put yourself in other people's shoes; if you are even marginally intelligent you might arrive at several conclusions that eclipse the myopic nonsense you probably regularly blast out into the echo chamber. A derivative of this process is that you'll be happier, another is that people will recognize that they've been incorrect in their own assumptions concerning your level of intelligence.

Eh. The language is important here with regards to anything employees have. "Request that Cobb Tuning's employees forfeit..." blah blah. Not require - because that's essentially impossible. So they have to request it from the employees. The employees can say no. And the following line, "Require Cobb tuning to offer to buy back" - so, Cobb Tuning has to offer to buy back. The employees can refuse the offer. The ruling doesn't force Cobb to in any way penalize or reprimand employees for refusing from what I can see. So, employee meeting at Cobb: "Hey guys. We would like you to remove x y z devices from your cars and we can buy them back." Employees: "Nah." Five minute meeting. Requirements fulfilled.

I suppose the EPA better ban ALL vehicles on the road older than the mid 90s. Cats weren't required back then, why are we allowed to continue driving them? While they're at it, restrict the number of airline flights I'm allowed to take each year, that'll really provide "clean' air for our future and our children. This is a fucking joke, they need to use their resources towards something that actually benefits society. I'm not an EV hater, but why don't they currently set goals and regulations for future EV disposal/recycling?? It's not an issue yet, but we're not going to be able to just crush EVs.....can't just leave them in a junkyard to rot. The environmental repercussions at the end of an EVs life are just as serious as the harm caused during their battery manufacturing.

Why are US import laws allowing catless cars from all over the world to be imported? (25 year import law) I'm not against importing, cause I feel they're impact on the environment is negligible as well, similar to modifying modern vehicles.
