I’ve grown up loving this car since a kid but never had one. I’m glad I’ve held out cause I think after some exterior additions this one looks the best to me. Prior to 2022 I liked the one that ended at 2014 and I’ve absolutely hated the look of the 2015-2021. That was just a straight up Corolla for me. I personally love these tail lights way more than the previous gen too. I’m close to getting a good down payment within the next few months. All I’m debating is the color cause a lot look good. It’s gonna be between red, mag grey, black and white.

Check starting guide, your mount is not properly balanced

you don't need to do any of this. You can keep the OEM rotors/sizes and upgrade to '91 Z32 4 pot fronts and use '06 STI 2 pot rears and get the brackets from KSNBrakes. Total about $750, with all new stainless steel lines. IMO it's not worth the bigger discs. Also, the z32 calipers (cast iron) fit with OEM wheels. Now if you are tracking seriously, then sure, maybe upgrade the brake sizes. But, once you get into that price range, you might as well just get a BMW or something already made for this stuff. Oh, the TDMI is a good deal, though use the 2 pot '06 STI calipers with stock OEM VB rotor, but the TDMI is only 0.5" bigger. so is that worth $750? probably not.

I’ve been trying to get even a base model wrx but I can’t seem to get it done. Having a 2 year old and some other financial problems just keep beating on me. Watching you at least keeps me hoping I’ll get 1 eventually. A white Subaru 2024 some time eventually..hopefully they don’t get manuals phased out before I can afford one.

I hope this new stage in life goes well man. I went from head chef and traveling the country running and opening restaurants and hotels; to being a technician for a Subaru Dealership and Subaru of New England. Sometimes change of pace is what’s needed right?

I went back and forth between Premium and Limited. I ended up with the Premium. I didnt care about the power seats, I actually find power seats in my wife's car annoying. I didn't care about the upgraded stereo but my wife thinks thr stock stereo doesn't sound great, so maybe that is needed if you are an audiophile. I dont need moonroof, keep that weight down. The two features I wanted are the blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert. The other factor is that wanted the sapphire blue. Took a lot of calling around to find a car in that color. Most dealers didnt want to bother investigating a transfer. And when i asked about chance of finding a sapphire blue limited the guy said "fat chance". So I would have had to factory order it.

I told this before and I am telling it again, I have been with Honda, Benz and GTR community but Subaru community is one of the best. People are friendly and helpful. I hope you find success with your new career!

Honestly, the black plastic is growing on me. It really helps protect the body from any worse scrapes from small rocks/pebbles when doing some fun rally pulls. If you don’t like the plastics on the fenders, just pop them off and order some aftermarket OEM fenders. They fit pretty well, and really easy to install.

Just did the exact same job this morning. My wife drives like a race car driver. OEM rotors warp way too easy. Did all 4 corners.
