I dont understand. can this session player add to an already made melody? Or do I always have to start with its suggestions? If it does not add to my melodies chords that make sense then this feature is idiocy.
They play to the chords you input. It does have some AI "following" tools where if you set an audio file as a reference, it'll analyze the rhythms and mirror that feel. Session players don't generally play the melody anyways. If you want specific lines, counterlines, etc, you should do that manually, or use a real player which is obviously more ideal.
@@DIDCHOI I just don't think any of this is in any way intelligent - Weak AI at best - more pattern regurgitation. It is the marketing buzzword tho so... The algo simply can't understand context. AI pics have too many fingers and keyboards never have proper octaves because the algo has no idea why I want to hold someone's hand or rock and roll all night. Exactly! If you can’t play bass or have a bass player for example, it’s a good substitute. But for me, just playing it in will be so much faster

Thanks. As expected the auto parts (it isn't AI) don't relate to the leads (the music's story). So it all sounds random and chaotic.

It is AI driven. I didn't stretch the functionality that much, but there is more computation than the previous drummer for example
