@@seljoypro So far so good. But surely we can do better, if it’s truly AI, we should be able to teach it and it shall remember the lessons. Ps. Of all the text to speech, I’ve found 500 Caucasian voices and 2 black voices 😆, I think AI is still quite white or should we say whAIte
Hey Doc, thanks excellent clip here. If Logic releases the session guitarist, yes I'm coming here first. Again, This was really good for Gospel Musicians!
Best demonstration of the session players so far, killer job! You’re an amazing player too with a great vibe, I definitely will check out more of your content!
Thanks for sharing Sel, great seeing you again. I enjoyed the tour that you took us on. I haven’t even touched my new Mac with Logic Pro 11 yet. I’m convinced that I need to get in and work it. God bless!
Really enjoying Logic on iPad, and pushing to make this my “go-to”…Thanks for being an in depth content creator for us looking into this way of music making.
Gotta admit that I was not feeling some of the demos I've seen of Logic Pro AI Musicians. I was under the impression that it had some limitations. Then, I saw your take on things... And yes, the ELEPHANT in the room was the reason why I had held that prior thought. But hearing you and your demonstration made me do a 180º on this new feature! I'm comfortable on the keys and grew up listening to icons like Stevie, Prince & Clinton/Parliament - so having my left hand play the bass part was always my thing. And I guess that's why I didn't think much of the bass session musician. Until you did this song this track this demo...WoW!! Incredible job and utilizing the features - especially converting midi into chords. Questions that I had were answered. And features that I didn't even consider were highlighted by you and this song/track. Excellent job and thanks for sharing this video with all of us! I'm still stuck on X (older computer here) but seeing this video definitely changed my whole initial reaction. Great job again! Keep doing your thing!
Thanks for the great feedback. Music is music. We know it’s our approach that brings out the culture and sound in our respective genres. The chord arranger and variety of phrases in the plugin opens this up a lot more for our individual and cultural expressions. I hope you enjoy using the app!
Hey I really appreciate the feedback and compliment. I had the AI set to simpler settings. It might smoke me if I dial it up! But you make a good point about practicing to stay ahead of the algorithms lol.
Thank you for a very informative video. It’s also great for us to have a musician’s sensibilities represented. Of course the app is designed so anyone can use it but I see many videos where it is obvious the content creator is not a trained musician… Just sayin’ this is a welcome change I can relate to. I just subscribed. Thanks again!
You’re very welcome. If you can upgrade one of your Macs you open up the logic platform even more. Think of logic as a platform now and not just an app.
i really enjoyed watching this. I’m mainly a guitar player, but can also play keys and simple bass. I’m really enjoying recording some of my own real guitar in, and then seeing what the AI comes up with. I even tried recording some dub / reggae (which I love), and with some adjusting got a really killer dub bass line that blew me away (similar to your face when you heard the bass) - so far really liking it
That’s so dope! I can’t wait to get into some reggae with these session players. I’m happy they listened to the community and added much more variety, opening the platform up to more cultural creations. Thanks for sharing
@@seljoypro yes I have been playing around with it. Seriously the bass lines generated for dub reggae are really good. You obviously need a bit of musical understanding and there is a fair amount of midi editing to get the exact results you seek, but overall I am super impressed with these features, they are only inspiring my creativity - I really hope you make some more videos showcasing this DAW on the iPad
Just subscribed bro. The keyboardist is quite impressive. The bass player is good as well still has a little bit of a ways to go but that may just be up to parameters. We may be out of a job soon 😅
This is definitely awesome, @Seljoy! Glad to have found your channel! Now, I'm most critical of the bass player. That intro slide is TASTY, but can you use parameters to move such a movement later in the song? I'm smacked straight off of my seat as soon as he starts playing 😅.
Yeah it took me by surprise too. You can create additional regions and adjust the sliders charge the phrasing and intensity. I was also happy to see a mute bass slider too. They went in on this release!
Thank you for creating the black perspective on Ai!!! That was my only fear about coming into this can it handle actual song writers?🤦🏽♂️I will only use this as a song tool for my guys to get an idea!!! Waiting for the next update to drop and for them to have a guitar added to the session player!!!
The "Keyboard Overlay" is a great idea however, in the longer term musicians need training to understand what's behind the tools they are using. Music is no different than math or science and must be treated that way as it's far more than just an "ART CLASS" Alone. I say this for the benefit of up & coming musicians as they need to know the "WHY's" if you will instead of just accepting things and moving on.
Yes another great RUclipsr @Gavinski’s Tutorials discovered this app suite apps.apple.com/us/app/kq-voice-plugins/id6450491216 There is a loopback tool in there that allows you to take the audio from one app and route it into another app. There might be some slight latency in some cases. Check your audio buffer settings to compensate.
Yeah most of us don’t need this for the final product. However, it is a useful idea in exploring musical ideas or generating a quick reference. The cool thing about logic is that for the professional it’s an all in one solution. For the amateur, it’s a great “sketch” creator. So no matter where you are in musicianship or creativity, it’s got something for you.
Absolutely amazing piece of content, not only the review was awesome, but the little demo track was so groovy and nice!
I appreciate the great feedback
Such a cool tutorial Sel …… well done 👌🎶
Thanks so much 🙏🏾
Let’s make logic a little more black! 😆 Amen , and if it doesn’t come pre installed, we’ll sure teach it. Ha ha. Great session!
😂 let’s go in and see what we can pull out of it

I just tried it out and it’s dope. It just opens up your creativity. The drums and bass lines are 🔥
Awesome! Let’s see how far we can push it
Wonderful Tutorial and your delivery is so friendly and warm.Thank you 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Mate great video ! Love it
Thanks a ton!
Great overview. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Best use of keyboard and bass that I've seen. It's good to find your channel.
Wow, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏾
I loved the outro Sel, great video keep up the good work bro👍
Thanks bro 🤜🏾🤛🏾
Fantastic video!
Thank you!🙏🏾
Great video. I’m really enjoying the new updates and AI session players. The stem splitter is cool too. Soon we’ll have a guitarist and singers!
There are some websites already doing the voice part of this. The guitar player (with good quality samples) would be the game changer.
You have a great presentation style, your content is super useful - and you can play! Subbed !
Thank you I appreciate the feedback 🙏🏾
Kudos for the demo of Session AI

I was wondering if the ai players would be useful for OUR music. Thank you for this!

Some cultural skepticism is justified given the version of logic we’ve had for years. The session players were very one dimensional.

Do you have a video on how you connected everything to your ipad?
I’ll add that to my next video 👍🏽
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Almost sounded like Ordinary Just Won’t Do percussion
Now I know you’re a real one with this comment! 🤜🏾🤛🏾 that song is a staple in our community!
❤❤
If you don’t play like him.Scaler 2 will help with those chords
Scaler 2 is awesome! It can a great inspiration 💡
Which ears are you using doc?
I’m using KZ’s and I gotta say I’m happy with them
Can these piano sounds be used in a different DAW?

🤣 yup!
U look like a judge dread wearing white court cap as if u are announcing some punishment for us all..
🤣 and the verdict is…
Yeah... don't forget that the A.I. producer is needed.. so you can just put your name on it and take credit.. lol... silly young musicians..

I appreciate the feedback. Working on some shorter content 🙏🏾
