- I will show you the best video and photo settings for Nikon coolpix b500 camera. If you have a low budget, it's good to purchase the Nikon b500. The features and the super zoom lens makes the camera a mini dslr. Many budget dslr cameras under Rs. 20k doesn't have the features that b500 offers. Other than that, this point and shoot camera is widely recognized as the best slr camera for beginners. Nikon dslr and slr cameras are really good and I highly recommend you to purchase Nikon B500 if you are new to photography or have a tight budget. Stupid question i know you cant change shutter speed but it supposably has the option for 1/4000 how do i capture stuff in motion?
/adjust shutter for stuff in motion so i dnt get a blurry subject
I think you can change the shutter speed but this is a slr camera so there's is no proper manual mode. The automatic video mode works well enough to product non-blurry videos which are in motion.

Hi! I bought this camera 3 months ago and something that bothers me is the fact that I can’t manipulate white balance settings, it’s just in auto mode. Do you know why I can’t use it? Nice video btw!
It's a point and shoot camera. It doesn't have full manual mode. So you cannot change the white balance and you have to use the auto mode.

Thanks for the great tutorial. When i record videos i always get a continues hissing noise on the video. Why is that? How do i terminate that? It's my first video recording with any camera.
Its the background noise. It maybe the sound of your fan or ac or your pc's fans.
Thanks for the reply. No it's not any fan or anything else. It is in the video only. That problem is not only with me, but with camera's in general. It's called ''white noise''. Mostly do to with the microphone of the camera. I just don't see any option in the camera options to reduce the mic's volume.
@@izri1 Yes I too faced this issue. You cant fix this if you record audio with the camera's internal microphone. I reccomend to invest in a good microphone like the Boya m1 - amzn.to/3bISML1 or the Zoom h1n - amzn.to/2Hr6Kmy .

I just picked up one of these used. Question; can you use the zoom function while recording video? It works for shooting stills, but not while recording.
Yes you can zoom while shooting videos. I did it.

Maybe the one you are using has a faulty zoom button. You should take it to a Nikon service centre.

Yes there is the hdmi port. I am not sure about the live video streaming mode.
Did you have any issues with recording videos and having some sort of pulse effecting the shot every second on the second? Is that the full time focus trying to focus each second?
Yes the focus is good. I used to shoot my RUclips videos with it. No issues till date.

You can use any gimbal that's for DSLR. Don't use gimbals that are meant for smartphones.

You are not putting the camera into the oven. You have to zoom in for that.

I can't solve it without actually seeing it. You can do one thing, take the camera to a nearest Nikon service centre or your camera shop, they will help you. :)
We have just bought the B600. Sadly we are kinda dissapointed about the 'overview' pictures we took. They dont look very sharp and bright at all. It even looks like my smartphone takes better pictures. What are we doing wrong?
I don't know much about the b600. Moreover, these cameras now are pretty old so yeah you are right - smartphone 📷 do capture better photos.

Zoom h1n records Audio separately. B500 doesn't have a microphone port so you can use zoom h1n to record audio separately while shooting videos. After that sync the video with Audio!

Yeah sure. Why not?
Yeah it was fast, but the beauty of a video is you can play it again and again till you get it. Plus you can click on the little wheel/gear and set the playback speed to slower, so you can hear him speak more slowly. Then you can get it :)
Yeah the options are given for a reason. When I talk slow I get comments like why are you wasting time speak fast and then this video. This is how I speak. It's hard to please everyone. Thanks you understood it 😊

Sometimes its about the person behind the camera. You did a good job with the colour grading . This camera isn't all that . You have to do extra work to make your videos pop I guess

THAT'S A HUGE LIE try doing research before saying shit like that. For proof go to instagram and look up my photography page I bought this camera, I ONLY use the auto matic setting NEVER filter my photos and I take amazing photos not to brag. My instagram is @furtados_photos. PROOF that this camera is AMAZING. I took clear photos of the moon
ALSO half my plant photos were taken from across the street this has amazing zoom quality
Yes the camera takes amazing photos. Most of my old videos are shot using this camera and I never thought of buying a dslr.

Max time limit is 30mins. Yeah with a good indoor lighting, you can expect good video quality in 1080p 30fps.

Yes you can record a new video after recording a 30mins video. It doesn't have eis but the videos aren't that shaky while holding the camera steadily.
