    - Better water spots and minerals resistance.
    - Highly smooth feeling.
    - Deep gloss.
    - Very easy application in any temperature.
    - Sliding angle: 10 ̊.
    - Water contact angle: 110 ̊.
    - Heat tolerance: 392 ̊ F.
    - Application temp. range: 50 ̊F ~100 ̊ F.
    - Surface finish: High slickness.
    - Mineral resistance: High (easy to remove).
    - Salt resistance: Medium.
Directions: Use only in good ambient lighting
    1. Wrap a 4" microfiber suede around the grey side of applicator block.
    2. Shake CQuartz SiC.
    3. Slowly open bottle and drag one line of product down the applicator.
    4. Spread across paint in a criss cross pattern approximately 2 sq ft at a time depending on conditions.
    5. Buff off as soon as it flashes (within 3~15 minutes)
    6. Be sure to remove all excess residue when wiping off.
    7. Switch out the 4" Suedes every 2+/- panels.
    8. Additional coats may be applied with 45-60 minutes or wait until the following day if you are beyond 90 minutes. CarPro recommends 2 coats.
    9. Apply CarPro Reload 45 ~ 75 minutes +/- after final coat. Wait a minimum of 12 hours if you miss the 45 - 75 minute window.
If you are doing the CQUK + SiC combo:
Apply the 1st layer of CQUK, then wait 45-60 min
Apply the 2nd layer of CQUK, then wait 60 min
    Apply 1 layer of SiC
After this, do not apply Reload. SiC will be your final coat.
    After Tips:
    1. Keep surface dry for 24 hours after application.
    2. Gently wipe any water off the surface during the first 24 hours after application.
    3. Avoid detergents and chemicals for 14 days after application.

Great video Pan! Always enjoy them. I've actually switched from UK 3.0 to the CQuartz Original. Have used UK 3.0 on dozens of cars, usually topping with Gliss. The Original is slicker just like Gliss right of out the box. Customers seem to really like that. Maybe this SiC will replace Gliss and not Original and provide a little more longevity, as you might have notice Gliss can wear off pretty quick if a customer uses car washes a lot.

Used menzerna 300 super heavy cut
With rupes wool course blue and white wool flex 3401
Next menzerna super finish polish plus 3800
    Red pad
Two coats of the car pro quartz 3 .0 New formula red label
    Than reload
It is 60 degrees here in houston humidity down in the 30 %
The new formula car pro uk 3.0 worked better than old. Still a few high spots but nothing like old formula
I really loved course cut and wool pad the combination. Was fast and really removed scratches and swirls I had been able to remove before
The menzerna polish was beyond my Expectations
2 coats of car pro quartz 3.0 new red bottle new formula
Took about 10 days to complete Audi Which is a two door hardtop

I know you said to use the reload but will it maintain it’s slippery feel? Or would you put on another coat of Sic on it. I hope you will respond if you know as I have a late comment to your 3 year old video.

Hi Pan, great video again. I followed the UK video of you last time an after 4 yrs it’s stil holding.
I want to try sic because of the chemical resistance and not needing to use reload in 1h (hate that).
Do you recommend the sic for just 1 layer instead of the 3.0uk?
Because of costst I don’t want to use both.

I don't think there's any rivalry really. It's just a variant of a coating. Wether is graphene based or silica based, in the end, they are both semi-permanent multi-year forms of paint protection. Waaaay better than any regular wax or sealant.

My 30 ml bottle only did my car 1 and a 1/2 times and I've got a 4 door Chevy Cruz. Also depending on what time of the day you start and how long it's taking you the Flash time is actually going to change from the start of the project to when you're done with it. When I started it was in the afternoon and Sunny towards the end a storm was rolling in the temperature dropped and it got humid so the Flash time had changed from the 1st coat to the 2nd coat

If by "dealer applied" you mean the cheap crap they use at car dealerships before they deliver a brand new car to a customer, I would stay away from that! In fact, when I buy a new car every three years, I make it clear to the sales rep that I only want the car to be washed so I can inspect it on delivery. No waxes, no sealants on the paint, no interior dressing, no tire dressing, NOTHING. I want to bring it home and detail it myself.

    Hi Pan,
Ok, I finally got around to trying the Cquartz SIC coating. After preparing my car with paint correction, polishing to a bare paint with my Rupes LHR15, I applied my first coat in warmer weather, given the summer temps. I used the typical cross hatch application method and the flash time for me was approx 2-3 minutes, after that it was too grabby. I applied the second coat the day after in the early am when the temp's were a bit cooler, and the second coat went on much easier, more slicker. Now I am letting the car cure and harden, but used ArmorShield as a base (all I had), then ordered the SIC, and applying two coats, my paint looks like it has 2 coats of Gliss, that's how glossy and slick it is right now. So, a bit difficult to get the flash time just right, but once I had this nailed down, the process went quick.
I looked at U.K 3.0 and SIC but since the cost was only $7.00 difference, decided to try the SIC. I was skeptical of the flash timeframe, however, after applying, and making triple sure no high spots were left behind, I have to say, I am so far, happy with the results. Having ArmorShield as my base (2 years warranty with proper maintenance), and 2 coats of SIC @ 18 months, I'd say I am covered for the next 3.5 years, just use Reload for maintenance.
So there's my real time experience using this product. No need to use Gliss at this point, but have it just in case down the road.
    Thanks.

I have applied it to a few test vehicles absolutely. I like to follow the progress and durability over months before drawing final conclusions in my head.

Afterwards carpro essence using the carpro gloss pad. Gives another tiny bit of cutting, swirl filling, gloss enhancer and a base for the ceramic coating. Had better results, in my opinion, by first applying Sic and then UK. It gives the slickness of Sic and the more durabilty of UK. Then protected it with Essence +, again using the carpro gloss pad. You aren't supposed to polish a ceramic coating, as you damage it and remove it that way. Abrasives in the polishes will remove a coating. There is only one polish that I know of, designed to remove light scratches and swirls on coatings. This one: bit.ly/3zr9Vah
But because you already used a regular polish, you would now have to polish the entire section, use an IPA prep (like CarPro Eraser) on that panel, and recoat the entire panel.

Don’t work under direct sunlight. Always in the shade, on cool panels. Also make sure you have 24 hours after the application without exposing the truck to rain.

So should I use one or two coats of SiC on top of 2 coats of UK 3.0?

Good day Pan I love your channel and your videos. I have applied 2 Coats of UK 3.0 and after 2 weeks I want to top it with SiC. Can this be done?

So after applying 2 layers of 3.0, should you use reload before applying SiC? And / or should you use reload after applying SiC?
Also, it would be great if you could compare Gyeon Syncro ''system'' with these CarPro products combined!

You would not use Reload if you’re applying SiC.

would be cool to see uk/sic combo vs q2 synchro evo

That would be a good matchup indeed! But Syncro would win for durability, as that can last 4+ years. CQUK 3.0 is a 2-year coating.

Great! Should you purchase the carpro with the Reload if youll be using the cquarts as the overlay on the carpro?

Yes, as it’s still important to apply Reload once every 2-3 months, to do a proper maintenance wash like in my popular tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/yLiePQRMFc8/видео.html

Hey there Pan. I'm curious if you'd recommend 3.0 vs sic vs any other coating for a garage queen type of car that won't experience any rain/snow/etc. I'm new to installing coatings, so beginner friendlyness would be a factor.

CQuartz UK 3.0 is my favourite consumer grade coating for sure. It's fairly easy to apply. In my conditions, I see 24 months durability consistently.
If you want a coating that can last 1-2 years, but is the easiest I to apply that I have ever tested, the one in this video is great for people who have never applied a ceramic coating in their life: ruclips.net/video/Rgli6VNLsK4/видео.html
But before all that, make sure you understand all the basics and steps required to prep the vehicle BEFORE you apply a coating. I have a popular tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/sqQYVjxFqK0/видео.html

Hey Pan you should do an layering experiment with the classic SiO2 ceramic coating with graphene and spray Sio2 so like three (3) layers of stuff and longevity lol

This video (like Pan's videos in general) is very informative and very well done.
Still though, after years of being subscribed, it BOGGLES my mind that a bottle that small can cover an entire car. I almost don't believe it.

Thanks! Yeah a 30ml bottle is actually more than enough for two coats on two average sized cars. A little goes a long way. You realize this when you apply your first coating.
How did you discover my channel?

@@PanTheOrganizer Wow. I'm not sure I remember. Lol.
I think (THINK) that one of your videos popped up in the suggested/recommended on a ChrisFix video about cleaning and detailing the outside of a car. Clicked on it, watched it (it was one of your longer detailing videos) thought: "Wow. This guy is thorough and has lots of great ideas and product recommendations(detailing my car has always been my go to "cleaning therapy" option)."
