Great review, Chloe! I've tried Pegasi quite a few times going back to the originals, before they needed to have numbers, and haven't left the store with any yet. For me, they were always too much of this and not enough of that, but they must suit a lot of runners if they're up to 40 now. This is very good information and I hope you get lots of great use out of them.

Thanks for watching Eddie, I always find it fascinating how different the experience with the same shoe can be from a runner to another!

I had the old school circa 1984 model with the visible air cushions in the heels and I loved them. They were just called "nike air pegasus" if memory serves me.

Watched your review. I've never tried Nike as running shoes. They sound decent. I like it how thoroughly you review things. The mat and top are sweet too. I love it how confident you your that they are comfortable that you straight away did this long milage in them.

Thanks Olga! I trusted that I'd get on with the Pegasus as I've had previous versions, but I wouldn't do such a long first run in other shoes! I mostly wear Nike shoes, when you get used to a brand it's hard to switch!

The peg 39 was a good shoe...but since they made changes to their upper for the 40 it got heavier. The 39 was like 9.3 oz

I didn't get the Peg 39 so I can't compare, I agree that the Pegasus is not the lightest shoe out there, but I don't really mind for easy runs

The lace system looks different - do you feel it still tightens and fits your foot as well? Better/worse? I’m still using 3 year old Pegasus 36 🙃 maybe time to upgrade??

Yes I feel like it’s still tight enough, no issues ☺️ Haha the Pegasus are durable shoes, but eventually you’ll need to upgrade 😅

I tried some Mach 5’s last month and each time (4 runs) I got terrible hip pain within 3-4km, I had to return them. I am tempted by the 40’s but I prefer the colours of the 39’s 😂😭 what other shoes do you have in your rotation?

@@jordanhiggs3835 For easy, everyday runs I wear my Invincible 2 a lot, I love how cushy they feel (I prefer them over the Invincible 3) and the On Cloudmonster
