Hi Dr. Chan. I live with my Mom and sister. Mom is 86 and my sister has Downs Syndrome, Hyperthyroidism and history of DVT. She's on Coumadin and Methimazole. Their doctor recommended reducing food portions, reducing sugar intake (they aren't willing to cut it all out)and to consistently exercise. I try to encourage walking. Especially since Mom is still able to. My sister recently started dancing too. But the weight isn't coming off . I don't think fasting would be safe for them. Would you just recommend continuing to do the best they can and at least they're making some efforts to be healthier is better than nothing? It's so frustrating. I just want them to be as healthy as possible, even though the situation is not ideal for weight loss. Thanks Dr. Chan🤗🌠
Same thing happened to me last year I lose weight from 65-53 bt when I come in regular diet again i gain back all my weight Thanks a lot for this video 🙏

Im interested in loosing weight as I gained some during college and I just want to get back to where I was before. I dont want to buy new pants or shirts. I also just want to be healthier and cut out my bad eating habits and exercise
After watching this video, the doctor seems to discourage you from losing weight by talking about the dangers of losing weight rather than the pros of losing weight. I think I'd stick with Dr Berg's videos. His tips are way better and less politically correct. Dr Berg will tell you that if you need to lose weight, you need to go on a keto diet.
