I’ve been wanting to do sublimation for a few years now, but I ran into a few issues. I watched so many videos and most of the creators were gatekeeping, but your video helped. This whole time I was using the wrong material because the video I’ve watched wasn’t specific enough about the material. So I went to hobby lobby to purchase a shirt and I finally got the results I was looking for. Your video made my day.🤗🤗🤗🤗
thanks so much. my children want to start a clothing line for kids, and this would be perfect for them to learn how to create and design their products.
I had to pause your video half way through, just to tell you how much I am enjoying your channel. I like the way you compare, you don't talk too fast. Your videos are easy too watch and learn to, hands on within minutes. So Thank you!
This video is so great!! I’ve been researching into sublimation a little bit. As a mom, I’ve been trying to find things that interest ME, and something for me only 😂 & sublimation has caught my eye. hello Angie, This is 6/20/2023 now and I'm seeing a lot of people says after updates to their epson printers they no longer work without the epson ink being used...... side comment I've had this same problem with my HP printer ( not sublimation)... I have to subscribe to their ink or buy just their ink to use my HP. So back to my question to you. have you had this problem sent you've had your machine for a few years now and are using Hiipoo ink??

Also thank you so much for the video first one I have found that actually explains stuff to me.
I am new to sublimation and all hat I do know I have learned from your videos. I love your no nonsense descriptions and would really love to take your classs but, I have swiped, expanded the description and read every comment but can’t find the link to sign up for your classes please help!

Very informative and easy to follow...love all your videos. I plan on trying sublimation but still a bit nervous about all the expense. I have so many craft tools in many varied areas.
Would you know how to remove sublimation ink off on a neoprene lanyard keychain? I have messed up on several and hope that maybe you would know what I could do to save the keychains. Thanks in Advanced.

Hi Angie. I am new to all of this a love your videos. I was wondering if I am able to convert an epson 2800 echotank into a sublimation printer and what type of sublimation ink and paper would you recommend? Thanks for sharing your videos!
My wife and I are having trouble with sublimation blacks, reds, and greens onto 100% polyester. We use 100% polyester, white onesies, A-Sub 125 gpm, and Hippo inks. We've tried changing various settings but are closest to acceptable with 400 degrees F, 35 secs, medium pressure. Have you ever gotten yellowing around your images? Thanks!
Are you using protective paper over the top? I was experiencing some yellowing with butcher paper actually and never did figure out what had changed for me. Using the Artesprix protective paper it doesn't happen.
She's right about protecting your mat.. I 4got and my puppy face is 4ever imprinted on my heat press mat. I flipped it over but protecting the mat is important! 😉
Thank you for doing your videos they are really helpful. I have one question regarding butcher paper. Some is waxed same with freezer paper. What is your recommendation on using freezer paper or butcher paper? is it better to use unwaxed or is waxed OK?
I really appreciate this video being Im an ABSOLUTE beginner. Im actually gonna grab an ecotank printer tomorrow and order the items you recommended. My question, however, is Im looking to print on fabric for my custom kids clothing line. Is there any way I can get a printer that prints at least 11x17 and literally place the pattern perfectly next to each other to make yards of fabric? I make stuff from newborn to size 12 in big kids. Im afraid that the "seams" between the sheets will be noticeable. I cant afford a large sub printer now so I was trying to improvise. Any suggestions? Lastly, I plan on purchasing yards of 92% poly, 8% spandex material. I did a little research and it seems to be ok. Please share your thoughts on how I should proceed. New subbie for sure! Thank you!!!
Hello i have a question and i really hope you can help me with this question. Can you please tell me if you know where can i find adresses and phone numbers from sublimation classes in my state. I been looking and searching and i cant find none.. i hope you can reply to my comment. Please and thank you
I have an HP photo inkjet that I use the transfer paper with. It's not technically sublimation, I suppose, but it is cheaper that buying the Epson or the Sawgrass. Maybe if I can get sales and build up a bit, I can invest in one of those. But I broke the budget when I got the 5 in 1 heat press!
What is the material for the cloths you have? Looking at 100% polyester for fabric, fleece comes up. Is that right? Do you have a link for what you use? I just want to be sure I'm getting the right thing.
Hey! I purchased the Epson ET-4700 printer 2 months ago along with the hippo sublimation ink and everything has been wonderful until now, Im hoping you, or someone can help me with this problem. My printer started not printing in color, only in black and white. I did a nozzle check and it appears to be clogged. Have you had this problem Angie?
What is your opinion on the Sublimation Printer Bundles. (Pre-Set-up). Model 2850. In one of your videos you mentioned that you should not change the type of Sublimation ink used in the printer. Does it mean I would have to continue using the kind of ink that comes with the bundle? Theresa Bowen
I have everything need but the thermometer. Which one do you suggest as I'm on Amazon and don't see anything but infrared. I have a standard heat press. Also when making a mask do I need a mockup of the mask or can I just print on the sublimation the size with bleed and get a nice mask?
I actually haven't purchased a thermometer yet. I haven't had any issues with my heat press and haven't gotten around to it. I think for a mask, I would just print larger so the whole thing is covered. Be sure to use lots of paper to catch the extra ink though.

That is an inkjet printer which is not for sublimation. You can see more about what I use for sublimation printing here: ruclips.net/video/-f4oH2x-Nu0/видео.html&lc=UgwyQoTh10vucA1LOoJ4AaABAg
Great video!! Thank you very much. Just got my sub printer today. Waiting for ink and A Sub paper. Thanks to you I decided I can do this. With your help and instructions I know it will be a great success!!! Can you sublimate on painted wood or bare wood? I might want to try some signs. Thanks again Angie!! I sincerely appreciate all your help through this journey. 🥰❣🥰❣🥰❣🥰❣🥰❣🥰
Thank you for all the information. You are a very good instructor!! I gave a question I have not been able to find the answer to. Can you make water slide decals with a sublimation printer?
I have a question so am I correct in thinking that you cannot sublimate on any colored tshirt such as red , black, dark blue, is only white what’s recommended ? I’m thinking of giving it a try and just want to make sure
I'm barely starting to look into hear transfers. I'm a little confused about sublimation, vinyl and inkjet. My main material I want to use is cotton garments, which technique is the best for that?
Do you have a video on sublimation on glass cups for beginners? I have so many ideas I want to bring to life but I’m struggling to figure out where to start and step by steps
Hi Angie, Thank you so much for all of your tutorials, they are awesome. I love how you go into great detail explaining and describing how to do the crafts. I have a question; in sublimation, do I need a special software to create my own sublimation images? Thank you in advance.
@@AngieHolden Good to know. I'm not an artist, that's for sure! So it sounds like I can turn a Clipart or photo, etc.. into a sublimation image in Cricut Design Space or the free version of Canva. Thank you for your time and for replying to my question.
You can turn on CC in the corner. I have captions on all of my videos. A blank is what you put the sublimation on. The surface or substrate to which it is applied.
Hi thank you so much for this video, today was the first time I did sublimation pressing. You helped me slit. Thank you. I purchased all my designs off Etsy. Can you print a design for me I bought that they didn’t have option to get it printed. If you can what would you charge. I would like 10. I can send the file to you. Thanks in advance. It’s for a boy kindergartener.
Video I Love it But I've Purchased this Exact printer and 8t isn't working at all for me It keep saying paper jammed but there's no paper in it Also when I put paper in it it keeps jamming I can't Enjoy it I am so disappointed 😔
Hello Angie, Thank you for this helpful and needed video and all the links as well. I am new heat press user and you are my to go RUclips host 🤗. Does Vapor foam and Artesprix mat application process applies to the Cricut Autopress as well?
I haven't used the vapor in the AutoPress yet. I usually only use my Artesprix mat for application with the EasyPress. I use it with any heat press to set my stuff after I press it though.
Thank you so much for this video, very informative as all of your videos are. I just have a question regarding sublimating a plate. Can it be done in a convection oven or would one need a heat press for that? Would love to see you do an example if possible. Thanks!!
Can you explain how to layer everything right before pressing with a heat press? Like do you put something inside the shirt to prevent the ink from bleeding through? Then you would tape the print to the shirt and put the protective paper on top?? Am I missing anything??
Sorry if already asked and answered but for someone just starting out, could you give a guesstimate of the start up cost using the products shown as an example

Rosemonde Fashion Couture Hi Angie, it has been more than a year since I have interest in starting a t-shirt printing business. A lot of hesitation, today after watching your video on sublimation printing, I know that it is time to start. I will be asking you a lot of questions in the future. Thank you for making it easier for me!
Do you have to use a computer or can I use my iPad? Also would love to see a video on where you get your designs for sublimation. Thank you for all your videos I’m learning about sublimation the easy way❤️
I have not used mobile with sublimation at all so I can't really answer that. I will, however, add a video to my list for free sources for sublimation designs!
Design Bundles, you can signup for free or get a monthly subscription. Tons of free designs. Also, make sure to allow for notifications, so Google can let you know when bundles come out as well as sales. Design Space also has $1 events several times a a year and they're not be missed, trust me ;)
Can you use the Artesprix Protective Paper and the Artesprix Sublimation Pad for HTV? Would you use them with coasters and other blanks and infusible inks? I don't have a sublimation printer but have the infusible inks and the mug press. Thanks Angie for sharing your knowledge and expertise.

🥰❣🥰❣🥰❣🥰❣🥰❣🥰
I am looking into wood and what would be needed for that!
@@AngieHolden Great!! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I'll play with it when I get all my supplies also. Thank you!!
Thanks so much for the explanation.
Thank you for all the information. You are a very good instructor!! I gave a question I have not been able to find the answer to. Can you make water slide decals with a sublimation printer?
Hmmm I am not sure actually!

You can see a good comparison here: ruclips.net/video/vo4y-g1z2HY/видео.html
Do you have a video on sublimation on glass cups for beginners? I have so many ideas I want to bring to life but I’m struggling to figure out where to start and step by steps

Hi Angie, Thank you so much for all of your tutorials, they are awesome. I love how you go into great detail explaining and describing how to do the crafts. I have a question; in sublimation, do I need a special software to create my own sublimation images? Thank you in advance.
If you want to draw your own, then yes. To print, no.
@@AngieHolden Good to know. I'm not an artist, that's for sure! So it sounds like I can turn a Clipart or photo, etc.. into a sublimation image in Cricut Design Space or the free version of Canva. Thank you for your time and for replying to my question.
Hi, I just bought the epson eco tank 2803 will it be a good printer to start sublimation??? I'm a beginner...
Yes. Any EcoTank will work with these instructions: ruclips.net/video/-f4oH2x-Nu0/видео.html&lc=UgxltTPByRnweZUSDSl4AaABAg
Sorry im russian. What did you say sublimation what “blank”? I wish theres subtitle i love your informative videos
Sorry I don't do printing for people. There are usually people on Etsy that will print any design you have!
Video I Love it But I've Purchased this Exact printer and 8t isn't working at all for me It keep saying paper jammed but there's no paper in it
Also when I put paper in it it keeps jamming I can't Enjoy it I am so disappointed 😔
That sounds like there is something wrong with the printer? Try feeding one sheet of paper at a time.
@@AngieHolden Thank you for your Response..its Actually Working Now 💪
But I will Subscribe to your Wonderful Channel
Thanks!!
I have used a heat press with an adapter made for plates. I need to look into if you can use shrink wrap as that would probably be less expensive.
Thank you for this info.. what equipment/material would you recommend using for cotton t-shirts, since sublimation is for polyester fabric?

Can you explain how to layer everything right before pressing with a heat press? Like do you put something inside the shirt to prevent the ink from bleeding through? Then you would tape the print to the shirt and put the protective paper on top?? Am I missing anything??
That is correct. Here is a video: ruclips.net/video/SzyFsf85uvk/видео.html
Sorry if already asked and answered but for someone just starting out, could you give a guesstimate of the start up cost using the products shown as an example
I am totally not sure. Depends on what you are sublimating and what you have already?
I am new to sublimation. Question: My screen shows RED but when I print and sublimate it looks like a orange brown??? What am I doing wrong

Hi Angie, it has been more than a year since I have interest in starting a t-shirt printing business. A lot of hesitation, today after watching your video on sublimation printing, I know that it is time to start. I will be asking you a lot of questions in the future. Thank you for making it easier for me!
You can do it!
Thanks ❤
I am looking through the comments for the information on the supplies you mentioned, but cannot find it.
In the description for the video. On computer click show more. On mobile try swiping up or looking for an arrow to click.
Hi just found your video. I want to start doing sublimation. This is very informative. I have scribed to your channel. Thank you
Welcome aboard!
Thank you very informative. Which vinyl do your recommend and do you need a cutter machine to get started?
For sublimation, you don't need a cutter or vinyl at all.
You definitely can use them for that if you want!
question, with all this do I need a computer? Or is it not necessary?
I only use a computer with sublimation so I am unsure if it will work on mobile.
@@AngieHolden great! Thank you!
