Respect my brother 👊🏻, I certainly appreciate your openness. It's crazy how we're taught to be men, to the point it can become dangerous. When shit spirals, we're too prideful and stubborn to even open up, in fear of being ridiculed for being weak, or we feel like we're burdening someone else with our problems. Shit's tough man, I remember when my ex-wife told me she wanted a divorce, I really didn't know how to handle it. I felt alone, and in so much pain that I grabbed a razor knife a just slashed at my forearm as a release. Fucked up and stupid, I know, but I felt that inflicting pain would ease the pain. I don't know if this is even relevant??? I just know, things are never that bleak in life. Keep on, keeping on brother. I haven't dated in 12 years and it's been 7 yrs since my last friends with benefits. 12 yrs ago I was making 6 figures and dated a girl for 1.5yrs and my depression made me lose the 3-year partnership that made me the 6 figures. I can't sleep and I drink 6 days a week to get to sleep and the day I don't drink I'm up 30+ hours before I sleep. I love your vids and I hope you find happiness cause you are a great guy
very similar situation here, john. ~12 yrs ago I was finishing up college, had a gf, great job with good pay. Then lost both that job and gf shortly after, and have been drinking daily ever since. haven't dated since then either. my health got so bad i legit thought i was dying, so I've greatly cut back on alcohol. still a work in progress!

I've been living with a physical disability myself since I was born, so adversity and ridicule is no stranger to me. Even though I may look a bit different, I'm a witness to overcoming obstacles. My mom was told at one point that I'd never have a "notmal" education or regular life. To hear things like that tore my confidence and mental health right up. Not only did I prove them and myself wrong by graduating high school at the top of my class, I also went to college and now I work at a pharmacy as a shift supervisor. Never doubt your abilities and always give yourself credit for your accomplishments! Hope you and your loved ones are doing well. We will get through this! 💙
