Can't believe how to this takes me back to when I had my first ever playthrough of ff7 and came across this chocobo ranch and I was literally just instantly hooked on breeding them and trying my best hardest and hardest just to get myself some different coloured chocobo and all i wanted was a pink or purple one or just anything that was different coloured but never even managed to get any other colour than a stupid standard yellow one even after hours and hours of trying my best but now im older i might have a chance x

The monsters that surround the chocobo during the battle determines it's quality. Gender is randomly determined when you check them at the farm. Save before going into the farm to spam the gender if necessary.

I tried this in real life but giving nuts to birds just got me on a registry.
and also, you can use HP to Mp material to make a combo like this: "2 characters in the party with maxed Cover and Counter Materia, the character with HP to Mp Materia sitting in the back being the magical damage dealer with high magical resistance and a lot of magical power"... ez it will never die.
The trick is never use any other greens other than the most expensive skylis greens and use 10 and a time 3 times. Total of 30. Race until class S. Follow breeding guide

oh god thats a dark alternative to the one i did....granted it would be quicker but dont think i could ride a gold chocobo that being performing 2 generations of inbreading lol.....
I used to have the original FFVII CD for the ps1, and nobody believes me when I say that I Was able to cast knights of the round with quadra magic... even tho Ruby was the first weapon I managed to defeat a nd that played a huge part on it

You make it look easy but how do you get a basic Wonderful yellow Chocobo all the way to S rank? I’m on my third hour of trying, even max stamina just can’t keep up

This sidequest kinda sucks. The chances of getting a mountain/river chocobo is STILL low if you have chocobos that have high classes.

How the hell did you manage to get a blue or green one with a C rank and B rank so fast.. I got both mine to B rank and it should give me higher chance I've reset over 20 times not had a single blue or green

I got Mum B and Dad B to rank B, but I get a green chocobo every single time. No blues
I bred my Great Class-B/A Male to a Great Class-C Female and I get Yellow all the freakin time!!!
You just used 1 Great M Class-B and 1 Great F Class-C to get Blue and Green Chocobos?
