If you race every Chocobo to class S or even just A, then your gold chocobo will be very fast and will make all the items from the chocobo races easier to get.
Hey, it worked, black chocobo rank s races is my very hard part but i fed all my sylkis greens to boost stamina to the max. keep running and ignore my opponents, i just hold the square button and near of the finish line, i gave all my speed to the end of the race. And boom i win the 12th time, and breed a Golden Chocobo, is my grand prize Thanks for this video.
What was the speed of your blue/green chocobo?? I can’t win a single race with him but I remember in my first play through I followed your guide I beat it without any problem
Man I've been grinding trying to get one to appear with only rabbits but I've seen 1 in like 30 battles and it got away. I've got the lure and the luck materia equipped too. I wish they'd spawn more often.
When I bred the wonderful chocobo and the black chocobo (black won 9 races, wonderful won 3) - with a zeio but it produced another black chocobo..? Weird. I’ll reload and see if it happens again

You don't need to hold "ALL" shoulder buttons. It's just R1+R2.

One thing that worked for me when that happened was to get on the airship and land again. Chocobo showed up very next fight.
If you win 4 races as a whole with one 1 chocobo, but lose 1 race inbetween, does that matter?
I can't beat the s rank races with my black or wonderful chocobo
Its not possible to win S class with black. Ive tried 40 runs without winning. All with the stamina boost
