The Red one is the one for me with Gold wheels, will be putting a deposit down. Unless they decide to do the S in Red. shame its to busy for an Italian design to many colours on S ,they dropped the Gold wheels on S that rear wheel design is stunning, only to be hidden with matt black.

Terrible idea of Guzzi to do that. Standard model has black forks and gold wheels and the S model has gold forks and black wheels. Jeez, collars and cuffs! 🤷🏽‍♂️

Kinda looks like a Griso update to me actually ... I currently have a MG California, although I almost bought the Griso except for the slightly forward ergos that did not quite work for me. The California was much more laid back cruiser style that I prefer. Gonna take this Mandello out for a test ride and hopefully, it'll be my new Guzzi !!

Outstanding, particularly for MG! Welcome to the future :). I will buy, but will buy in year two when some of the software - and whatever else pops up - is fully sussed. Love this thing, and clearly one of the best-looking bikes on the market. Almost bought a Griso 8V a few times (still love that thing!), but couldn't deal with the inevitable issues, of not mechanical then dealer-based. This looks to be a total game changer for them.

The TFT and the middleware plus some of the UX is all carried over from the Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono models and has been around for a few years so there should be fewer teething troubles (but sure, there’s bound to be some.)

Last year (2021), I started bird-dawgin this Italian beauty.
Last month (September 2022), I gave Plano, TX Moto Guzzi a $500 deposit.
Early in the morning of 10/17/2022, I submitted my online “reservation” for the 2023 Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello Sport - “Centenario” Livery (premium Verde 2121 color) - Special Edition $17,490.
The customer care representative told me my Order# 190 was the 1st V100 Mandello order received by Moto Guzzi USA.
    I’m SUPER EXCITED!
To me, the V100 Mandello is STUNNINGLY EXOTIC & HANDSOME!

Mmm Guzzi V7 owner here and I’m actually in the market for a tourer. However to be honest I don’t think this will be on my shortlist for a couple of reasons. The first of which is price, the “S” model falls between the Aprilia Tuono base and factory, I’m not entirely sure what planet Piaggio are on but the V4 is a great engine to go up against and you can currently get deals on the Aprilia. Secondly no matter how they sell it MG dealers are sketchy and few and far between, l know as a V7 owner getting things done under warranty can be a pain. Lastly whilst it is a nice looking thing in real terms it isn’t going to be better than the GSXR GT or the 1000sx and by the time you put panniers etc on it (if you can ever get hold of them) this is going to be a 17k bike for the “S” which is probably 5k more than the other 2.

Great looking bike. My concern is the fairly woeful dealer network and the quality of the dealers that we do have. Warranty issues are not dealt with very well and I expect there will be new bike issues with this one. I have owned a few Guzzi’s BTW, I do like them but not the hassles.

Exciting stuff from Guzzi, looks great… and looks like they might have created a good overall package to go with the looks. Pricing for the well specced base model looks competitive, the S looks a bit steep. Base in red with heated grips and luggage for me, although would prefer the trad green/silver. Wish I could afford one alongside my V7 Centenario.

Very nice bike! I would say one of the best stock bikes I have seen thus far. Usually the put an oversized exhaust on the bike which makes you feel that it needs to be replaced immediately. With this bike I could live with it as is in stock form. I do not want to put that kind of money into a bike anymore. Out of the box I want to go. Also, can you take a photo of the top cases and side luggage? I like to see what it looks like. Also, what about the exhaust system do they have aftermarket ones available. Just curious for those who might want to upgrade it.

I don’t get it. Why does the bike need “Active” air wing controls? Just design the fairing to keep the air off of you in that specific zone. If you want to really do it effectively, make the active Fairing move to make a significant difference in overall protection. Like a true transformation or Fairing Transformer! They could call it the V100 Bike_Bott Xformer. Yea, thats it. BMW built in these panels on the first K1600LT in 2013. Moto Guzzi puts a servo motor on theirs. Same principle used in controlling the airflow in your cars heating system. They use servo damper control to move your ventilation around. Big deal?
How about a better horn, like a Denali sound blaster or a luggage rack option that is also a hand hold for the passenger? Or even better, an optional large gas tank for long distance riders.

Looks and sounds good, but. Too much black plastic, amputated rear end, muffler that points upward so only very small cases can be used (if its because of the wheel nut, can be shortened or reshaped), black wheels only (for the S-model). Would have been nice to see some accessories in the review. Oh well, in a couple of years, maybe more choices will appear, and of course always a good idea not to get the first model year ..

It's a handsome bike. The winglets ... only 'slightly gimmicky'? It's a fine color scheme, but referencing a fighter jet? The headers ... covered by brushed aluminum shrouds? These things are marketing tactics that cheapen the bike, IMO. I hope this bike does well for them. Climate change will force (is forcing?) all manufacturers to rethink their long-term business models-MG may not be able to peg their future on this bike. All that said I'd still love to test ride this bike.

@@Banditmanuk exactly this is a new product. Styling is lovely don't get me wrong but 4 to 5 grand more than yam or z1000sx. Not worth that plus moto guzzi have a terrible reliability in the past. Maybe give it a few years to see how they fare

@@christophereaves7108 Yep reliability concerns me, I bought the then new model Multistrada 1200s way back in 2011, lovely bike but what an utter warranty nightmare. Definitely makes you more cautious.
I'll wait a little while but first impressions the Guzzi looks good.

Well it’s not new so I’m wondering the issues with the last years version. Being MG there usually are small issues to deal with.
