Love that they mixed these two songs together given that Jarvis Cocker (lead singer of the band 'PULP') who wrote 'Common People' mooned MJ live on TV whilst he was singing 'Earth Song' in 1998!!! Really clever mix from Bastille!
Apart from the amazing arrangement and superb playing and singing the best bit of this video is the woman at 4:30 looking at the woman next to her thinking...Pipe down love, you can't sing for s***!!!

every time i watch this i just cry laughing bc that one goddamn back up singer is so flat it destroys everything i even remember watching an interview where they get asked about bad performances and they say this one because of the one singer that was really off

Love the cover buuuut i don't like the background singers tbh :/ They were out of tune sometimes and also too loud, they were louder than Dans voice which is not really the purpose of background singers is it? But this is definitely one of the best live lounge covers ever!
