For anyone interested in the Panoxyl sunscreen; it's lightweight and doesn't leave a cast at all. So light, that I apply two layers with no pilling.

I want to thank you for your tip on benzoyl peroxide as an underarm wash. It has saved me from running from myself after I work out and also after I mow grass in the Mississippi heat. By the way ,I do the latter in the evening while slathered in sunscreen and also wearing a hat and sunglasses.😁👍👍

The Eucerin foot foam is so effective and non-greasy like an ointment. I can put it on my feet and not be hesitant to walk on my hardwood floors like I am when I use Kerasal. I’ve been loving it for over a year now.
dude, it might be worth to it trouble to just wear some light comfy socks. both the foam and kerasal will work much better with a thin layer to cover it. ymmv

I want to try it! Hope they don’t discontinue it before I can get my hands on it. I sit down for 20 minutes after showering just so the lotion on my feet can dry (luxury I know 😅) I don’t know I feel like if I wear socks right away it just gets wiped off onto the inside of my socks. Im one of those that don’t particularly like wearing socks too so there’s that, love my barefoot life lol 😅 plus hair sticks to socks and it doesn’t on my feet as much

Just a comment about scent: jasmine and peach are a completely perfect combination and all caramel is salted.

I use Panoxyl in the shower too. I've found it at Target for $10. 🎯 I agree about the sugar scrubs. They are messy and awkward to use with wet hands in the shower. 😕 OMG! The salted caramel thing is insane! 😮
I've never used a sugar scrub especially after a co-worker mentioned having one in her bathroom and then noticing a bunch of ants which she figured were attracted to the scrub.

i've actually been using the cetaphil 2% SA body wash on my face and i actually LOVE IT. it's a cream consistency and does not lather but my dry skin has been LOVING it
Me too! It’s the only SA cleanser than doesn’t leave my face squeaky clean. I think it’s the shea butter.

I love that Differin body wash! I use it on my face and body. It’s amazing. On another note, that Panoxyl moisturizer was not a good thing for me. It is so hard to spread on your face and definitely leaves a white cast. I looked purple 😢

I’m so jealous of the selection you guys have in your local drug stores. So much better than we have in Alaska. Though our local Target is adding an Ulta which will be fully operational later this year. Otherwise I have to drive an hour away lol.
Oh and I HATE being barefoot PRECISELY due to my predisposition to dry, cracked heels (my mom had them as does my son). I never go barefoot ANYWHERE

Could you please do a video on shampoos, body wash and bar soaps that will not irritate your bladder? I get UTI’s when I use certain soaps in the shower. I also have back acne, psoriasis and eczema. Thanks!
She's mentioned salicylic acid being antimicrobial so an SA bodywash might help for your UTIs? It would definitely help with any body acne, although she also recently mentioned the Differin adapalene acne body wash is good. SA can also help eczema, and the moisturizer she's recommended for eczema before is the Aveeno eczema therapy line with colloidal oatmeal in it.
For large-pored, dry/dehydrated, mature skin, I love layering Black Girl sunscreen: kids with gold Bond pure moisture.
I find the body scrubs make the tub so slippery, I have almost fallen several times. I stopped using them, but other family members still continue to use them. Then I go in the shower and practically break my neck. I’ve tried wiping the tub down after a body scrub is used. Doesn’t help much.

You know which flavour I struggle to find these days? Coffee. It's always "cold brew" or "mocha" or what have you. Good old fashioned espresso hard candies basically don't exist anymore and it's sad.

I loved the taste of the eos lip balm, but unfortunately, what would happen is if I apply this at night before bed, the balm would make the corners of my mouth swollen and then crack. I figure it must be the citric acid they add to the product. On the other hand, I find I don’t have a problem with the Tree Hut Sugar Scrub & I do get Eczema on my legs. The Tree Hut has oils in it to moisturize, so even if you don’t put moisturizer on after your bath/ shower ( I take baths) you will still be moisturized. I just got finished using the Vit C scrub & are now using the Almond & Honey Scrub. They aren’t real harsh of a scrub to begin with. And since I take baths, it Isn’t that messy. I use that right after I wash with my A La Maison liquid soap, which is also moisturizing with the Argan & Olive oils in it. I will be 60 this Summer & live in the Midwest. No, not ALL Carmel is salted. The Kraft Carmels in a bag that you would melt for Carmel Apples is plain Carmel. There are certain brands that have Carmels that aren’t salted. You just have to look for it.🙄

Agreed! In aldi over the holidays they didn’t have caramel sauce (like the cheapo squeeze bottle) but had the fancy salted caramel in a glass jar 🤷♀️🤔
I developed seborrheic dermatitis within the last couple years and recently I was getting into makeup and realized I get thin dry patchy scales on my face that create wounds when physically exfoliated away. Currently on my journey to find out what cleansers and moisturizers work best for me but I think I may also have sensitive combo skin and WOW can it be difficult to find products intended for combo/oily skin that doesn't make me extremely red, dry, or oily

I love that Eucerin leg and foot foam!! I could only find it at Walmart in 2022! Then I couldn't find it anywhere for a while. I use it on my whole body in the summer but just on my legs in the winter. I have eczema and find I need something thicker on my top half (where I am more prone to eczema as an adult) in the colder months. It is great for my strawberry legs and would be really nice for someone who dislikes feeling sticky after applying moisturizer. I am happy you found it in a store. I bought like 6 bottles on amazon because I thought I would never find it again.

The Neutrogena Ultra Gentle creamy cleanser & the Hydro Boost cleansing gel are gentle enough for cleansing my sensitive skin. The Hello Bello fragrance free moisturizer is another favorite . Former pastry chef here: we were taught in culinary school to always put a little salt in caramel sauce to act as a flavor catalyst. The salted caramel everywhere thing is tiring to me also. It should mean that perhaps there is a higher amount of salt, but in many products I cannot taste any saltiness at all. SMH
Ive been trying out the Banana Boat C+B3 sunscreen. The face version has fragrance but its one of those non fragrance fragrances. Doesnt make my skin sting though and I'd like to think I'm fairly sensitive and I'm putting it over my adapalene gel in the mornings.. The body version has a light citrus smell, doesn't sting. I have tried it on the face a few times and it didn't sting either but I wouldn't push it too much considering how my skin can react to stronger fragrances on the face. The face stuff can be quite pricy but I've been enjoying it (2.0 oz vs 4.5 oz). The ingredient blend on both seem nice though. 😀
Dr Dray can you comment on the safety of the following in pregnancy?
1. Guaiazulene and peptides - klairs midnight blue serum.
2. Fermented skincare products.
I’ve developed a sensitivity to prolonged sun exposure apparently. I was at Disney for 6 hours and everywhere that was exposed started breaking out with itchy blisters. Never happened before. Got a great tan after lol but do not want to go through that again so I’m on the hunt for a better sunscreen especially for my face which tends to be more oily.
Walmart has UPF shirts for $10. Please don’t get sun poisoning. 🥺

I don't Miss Andrea what they're trying to pass on to us that something has to be that way, for example i also like strawberry flavor why you put mint inside, for everything that is holy or the caramel thing that has to be salted dear lord if i wanted salted i would get one but i want the plain old caramel 😂 just give me that 😅 (oh i know these old type of Square caramels so difficult to unwrap them😅). Oh about la roche posay i was thinking to try la roche posay anthelios Dermo-pediatrics gel spf 50+ for face and body fragrance free ❤ and works on wet skin at least that is what they say 😅. She's talked about it before. She wasn't sure how much good a wash off would provide. But some cosmetic formulators like Esther Olu have said those products have been formulated to work.
Yes, salt was always in caramel! But I noticed the same thing recently, like why did that term take over. A few years ago, caramel was standard. But not everything is salted caramel. So funny!

Hey Dr. Dray, I thought I'd mention oral chlorophyll since you mentioned anti-perspirants. I've just been reading and some people report that taking chlorophyll, orally, as a supplement can decrease their body odor. They say it starts working within a few days. I don't know the mechanism of action, but I thought it might be a potentially safe tool you can use for your patients with sensitive skin.

I used those sugar scrubs from tree hut,but after I would use it,the next morning,I had all these little yellow folliculitus bumps all over my chest. I never understood,until I was like I'm going to stop using these,and I stopped getting those bumps.

It’s hard to find a nice SPF lip product. My favorites from Japan/ Korea are about 20-25ish.

Hey Dr Day, I've heard the tip of using a mineral sunscreen around the eyes, and then your usual chemical one everywhere else to prevent stinging eyes. However, I have also heard that mixing zinc oxide, and chemical filters results in less protection. Is this true?

That La Roche Posay sunscreen turned my face all red. So did one from Clinique. I'm starting to get scared of sunscreens and I know I need one. Any recommendations? I have rosacea but mild.
I’m with ya on the bare feet thing! Eeew! Hate my feet feeling wet or “crumby” unless like you said,at the beach! Other than that socks and/or slippers it is lol. My dad and younger brother are the same so I guess we got it from dad haha!
I've never tried Benzoyl Peroxide wash for face or body (under arms). I tend to be very sensitive to most products, and I absolutely hate that most deordorants/antiperspirants, particularly the sticks and sometimes the sprays and roll-ons tend to stain the under arms of my clothing. I guess from rubbing off onto it. However, I've had really good luck with a "natural" roll-on deodorant from Real Purity. It's primarily made from herbs and surprisingly I haven't had a reaction to it, it seems to protect me a good bit from perspiration and I don't smell. I've tried those rock crystal type and not only do I stink within a few hours but it irritates my underarm skin VERY badly. All that said, I may give the peroxide a try.
try a stone deodorant an Alum o Potassium Alum, deodorant I am living mine just wet the stone to apply for it to roll

I’ve had good results from bpo cleanser for underarm discoloration. I guess it does work a little for bo but I still need deodorant/antiperspirant
I have super sensitive skin and no issues with BP underarms. I’d just start with a short exposure time. Or start with the 4% one. I use 10% for a few minutes with no problems.
Have you ever reviewed any Lacura products?
She does a brief review during one of her weekend vlog shopping videos to Aldi. I seem to recall her commenting fragrance in everything she picked up.
I want to see this! Apparently the baby items at Aldi are good, and I believe there are some lacura items that are now ff, but I haven’t looked in ages so not too sure about that

It doesn't absorb in a way that builds/restores collagen in the skin but it can be a moisturizing ingredient
