I do love Cosrx. Their snail products, although they are a little bit sticky, are the only ones that my sensitive skin can tolerate. I have tried the Aveeno Calm products, and even those didn't help. Only the snail mucin from Cosrx has helped. I am leaving this comment in case someone else suffers from extremely sensitive skin. ❤

I am a big fan of the COSRX Snail mucin serum and the moisturizer. I have sensitive, reactive acne prone skin . I am on my 4th bottle of the serum. It’s a game changer for me.
Dr Dray has been talking about hypochrolus acid since 2020. She recommended spraying hypochlorous acid for those who were breaking out from face masks. I was using it and had my two boys use it as well..
There are plenty of inexpensive options available.. It’s key for me as I live in Florida Ms the heat and humidity is through the roof.

One thing I really like about You Angie is that you’re Honest when telling your followers that you do get Botox in those areas of your face because there’s not a skincare product on the market that can give you the same results as what Botox does, I don’t use any of the skincare products that you use but I use what works for my skin after years of being a sun lover also and only started taking care of my skin in my 50’s, and I only started getting Botox also in my mid 50’s, same areas as you but I’m 64 years old, so it’s basically taken me 10 years to get my skin to look the way it does today and I’m really happy with the results I’m getting from the skincare I use, DNA Repair was a product I incorporated into my skincare routine and have had amazing results from that, it’s the one that Penne recommended from her channel and I’ve gone through two bottles of it from Photozyme, fantastic product with results. Thank you for sharing your products and what worked and what didn’t. ❤️❤️

    Good morning Angie!
I haven't had enough coffee yet. But I was thinking while listening how interesting it is that some products work different on similar skin. I'm almost 60, probably normal skin. I tried the Health Lab sunscreen you love. I found it really shiny and it was still annoyingly tacky 12 hours later; yet Jan Marini Physical Protectant isn't for me in dry Arizona. But the Jan Marini doesn't seem to work well with foundation that I will use on occasion. And my skin just soaks in CosRx snail Mucin.
I've really been enjoying Dr Idriss serum and moisturizer this year, especially when it's hot. Fell of the Omnilux and Niod copper peptides wagon late spring, need to work them back in again. Hopefully getting the estrogen cream next week. This " about to turn 60 " thing is messing with my head.
I appreciate the time and research you put in to help me narrow my choices down. ❤

I get some benefit from both argireline (no botox) and the CosRx snail mucin.
I have drier (dryer?) skin than Angie does, and I use the snail mucin in the winter or if I've done something that mildly irritates my skin. It seems to help moisturize and soothe. Interestingly, I don't remember it as particularly sticky. I actually like CosRx's moisturizer better, though.
The argireline is not a miracle worker. I use it as a spot treatment. The first time I tried it, I'd used up almost the entire bottle before I saw any benefit. If I'm consistent with it, it seems to soften but not eliminate my 11 lines. It works best for me in tandem with Frownie dupes, occasionally boosted by sessions with the Renpho eye massager if I seem to be frowning a lot.
I suppose the bottom line is that everybody's skin is different, and things that don't work for some folks may work for others.

I use it in place of foundation (my complexion is good and the Oathology Inzincable helps to even out any unwanted pigment). I usually don’t powder over it, just let it set for a couple of minutes before applying makeup. If I’m going to be outside a lot, I may add brush-on sunscreen powder (DRMTLGY makes a nice one).

I love the Naturium packaging, but I too have an uber-sensitive neck and retreated back to the Maelove Moonlight Serum. I’m in complete agreement about the copper peptide serum as the effects were a big zero. The one product you’ve not mentioned that I have seen tremendous results with is the Agency Eye Serum. I use it every night and at age 69, I have virtually few eye wrinkles/smile lines. It is fantastic.

I've been using Avene's RetrinAL (0.1 Retinaldehyde ) for about a year and it DID quickly make a noticeable difference in the texture/smoothness of my skin and one admittedly expensive bottle (bought on sale) lasts me months and months. It also did not irritate my rosacea-sensitive skin, unlike even the lowest of tretinoin prescriptions, which I've had to use 1x week at most and only because it's the only thing that made my milia disappear.

    Hey Angie❤,
I wanted to tell you about this sunscreen I discovered called P20 Hyperpigmentation Defense Sunscreen . It’s a European chemical sunscreen with a PPD higher than La Roche-Posay’s UVMUNE 400 (PPD of 61 to be exact). I contacted the R&D lab of the company, and they said it's fine to layer mineral sunscreens on top because their SPF50 facial sunscreens don’t contain Avobenzone.
Also, just a heads-up on the hypochlorous acid spray. It can deactivate products like Vitamin C and Tretinoin. Personally, I only use it on my body after a workout.
    Hope this helps!
    Xx

I'm not a fan of snail mucin products; I just can't get past the ick factor. I've been using an antibacterial complexion spray as my toner, my first product after cleansing. It contains Zeolite, which I've read is a milder and more stable antibacterial than the hypochlorous acid you mention as an ingredient in the Tower 28 spray. I found this product at WalMart (of all places!) for under $9.; it's by Fortify+, a Korean brand. I have rosacea that can be quite unpredictable, and this is very soothing. It dries nicely, no stickiness. One year of use; I've been alternating with Physicians' Formula The Essence of Healthy. a 95% Galactomyces toner spray. These two products have made a huge difference, as I have not changed any other skincare products since I've incorporated these into my routine. Love your information! And your skin looks great!

Thanks Angie for all of your informed advice/opinions/information 👍 You do all the hard work/research and we get to benefit from it 😊 I've always wanted to try the copper peptides but been a bit of a Nervous Nelly about it. I bought the copper peptides from The Ordinary, but when I did research on it, it seemed like there were a few ingredients you couldn't mix with it. One of which was vitamin c, which I use in my morning routine, so that wouldn't work. And another ingredient was retinol, which I use in my nightly routine, so that wouldn't work either. 🤷‍♀️ I'm at a loss 😞

Many youtube influencers recommend the Haru Haru sunscreen from Korea. You are not the only one. I have traveled there 2x in the last 6 months and have searched for this product. It is not popular nor can you find it in Seoul. I'm wondering why they are promoting it so heavily in the US. Skin care is very important to Koreans and they are leaders in skincare.
