Good morning & thanks for watching! There are so many questions on using COPPER PEPTIDES with VITAMIN C so I wanted to answer here! I did a detailed video on that and IMHO they're fine to use together in most cases but for all the details & research please check out my video on it: ruclips.net/video/UEvlM6u8D_M/видео.html
Also, lots of questions on the Estriol cream: It cost $55 & the compounding pharmacy is called skinmedicinals.com, I'm using it on my neck to do the testing so I can isolate it from any other ingredients. I will eventually use it on my face if it pans out. Have a great weekend! xo ~a. 💜

I’ll be really honest here: I watch her videos every once in a while-not a subscriber-and take from it what seems best for my situation (my skin is very different to hers). I’ve mostly focused on her reviews of gadgets. But it bothers me to see so many being negative. There is nothing forcing you to watch videos or follow another person’s routine. I’m 55 and strictly faithful to Korean and Japanese skin care-it’s inexpensive and I know it works because my derm has commented on how great my skin looks. But I’ve decided to invest in certain devices because I’ve seen her give an honest review. There is no reason to bring people down or make them feel bad for not catering to you.

I find the fact that you didn’t begin a skincare routine until age 50 very encouraging. I am relieved I am not alone in this situation. Your results over the past 10+ years have been nothing short of remarkable. Your videos encouraged me to begin with sunscreen, if nothing more. I began with mineral sunscreen, and then by chance found a chemical sunscreen from Korea that I was happy to wear every day, and I have not looked back. In time, about five years, my skin has responded by appearing younger, with fewer lines and increased firmness. I have become someone who enjoys a multiple product topical skincare routine. Learning about ingredients, products and how they may work has become a hobby. By doing a bit of research and following sound advice from youtube content creators, I have learned ways to stretch my small skincare budget by choosing predominantly Korean skincare, as well as certain Japanese and Western products.

To the women who think it’s all too much, take what you need and don’t worry about the rest. Find the cleansers you like, the timeless products are super affordable especially when they’re on sale at every single holiday. You need a sunscreen and if you need additional moisture, customize the level that you need. At night just use an exfoliant and more moisturizer. That’s it. She gives me good info about ingredients I should be looking for so I usually find what I want in my price point. The point is not to use her methods exactly if you don’t want to but take and learn and find what works for you.

I learn so much from your skincare videos. I wanted to ask you to look into sunscreen for your lips. I am 65 and was a sun worshipper through my teens and young adult years, following a childhood of spending my days outside with no sunscreen. We hadn't even heard of sunscreen. Once I became a mother and learned of the dangers of going without it, I made my children wear it and I did the same. Now, I have been diagnosed with skin cancer on my upper lip. I also have pre-cancerous lesions across my lower lip. I didn't know sunscreen could be worn on the lips, and spent the past 13 years walking my dogs covering almost every inch of my skin, except my lips. It is basal cell, and so, treatable with a positive prognosis, but I don't want anyone else to have to deal with this. I wear sunscreen on every exposed inch of my skin now!

I’m seeing several comments about “this is too much and I don’t have the time or the money”.
Unless I missed something, Angie never said you need EVERYTHING she talks about/tries/uses. This video seems to be more of “this is what I use and here is how I use it”. She isn’t saying you need to run out and buy all the things.
When I watched one of her videos last year, detailing everything she uses, I chose 3 to start (Timeless Vit C, CoQ10, and Matrixyl 6000). My current routine uses the Matrixyl and Q10 because my face doesn’t like Vit C in this form. I do better with the ester form of it.
I rinse in the morning (super dry skin), and then use exactly 4 products (1 of those is a rosacea prescription cream from my derm).
At night after washing, I use 5 products (1 of those is a Tretinoin compound prescription from my derm). On nights, I don’t use Tret, it’s 4 things.
Neither routine takes more than a few minutes.
I do have an Omnilux mask that I use before I ever even get out of bed.
And at 46, my skin looks better than it did 2 years ago. I had 4 gnarly deep lines on my forehead and now 1 is gone, 1 is barely there, and the other 2 (which were deeper) are faint.
Think of ANYONE’S skincare routine as “a la carte”… use what you want, don’t use what you don’t want. You do not need tons of products.
My own derm says she recommends just 3: Vit C, sunscreen, Retinoid.
Is it necessary to use more than those 3? No.
Will it hurt if you do? Only if your face doesn’t like a certain product or if your bank account doesn’t allow for the spending.

Some products RUclipsrs use are too expensive for the every day person, however, I've found brilliant dupes by looking at the ingredients or I make my own.

I have been listening to and following Angie for a 2-3yrs! I started a couple serums but then my face had a “relapse” of eczema (really not much to do with serums). Finally this year my skin got over that phase and I just started my Agency treatment these past 2 weeks! I’m so happy, my low dose tretinoin formula is doing great on my sensitive skin!! I started slow (3x/week), but I have slight improvement in my skin texture and fine lines smoothed out (face & neck). I can’t wait to see what regular use in 9 months will look like. I’m 72yrs old, but better late than never. Lol. I’m also using sunscreen everyday. Thank you Angie!! ❤

If you're on a budget you only need 3 items for basic skin care: cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen. Then you add on based on your treatment needs and desires. Many items in the drugstore are very good these days. For instance you could use a Vanicream moisturizer lotion for face and body and similar cleanser. This moisturizer is light on and moderately moisturizing. For heavy duty I would use the Aveeno oat line. I can only use mineral sunscreens and the best IMO are Paula's Choice tinted SPF 30 for face and Skinfood SPF 50 purple top (Korean chemical), For body the Australian gold line is good. These are all ok for acne prone skin except the Skinfood which has olive oil. Then I would move on to Tretinoin and use Hot and Flashy's program for slowly getting accustomed to it. It took me 6 month but I am now on every other day and never purged nor became irritated. I am VERY grateful to her for creating a program --I never thought I could get use to Tret. THANK YOU!!!

She said there wasn't, but said my face looks great already (thanks Angie!). I told her I wanted to make sure it keeps looking great, so she said she'd write the prescription if I just let her know where to send it. I just got confirmation from Skin Medicinals that she sent the script in and now it's on the way! It's $55 as Angie said, and with processing and shipping the total was $61.38. Angie have you tried the gloves on Amazon that are sun protection for hands? I am thinking for your dog walks. I keep a pair in the car for driving. Inexpensive and seem like a double layer of protection when used with sun screen!!!❤️

What sunscreen do you use for body? Exposed arms, shoulders etc. Especially for summer.

Geek & Gorgeous now ships from US and has for a while. May want to include in your routine cuz they have an excellent Vitamin C, way better than anything you rec & no stink.

Angie, I love you content and i appreciate how thorough you are! I’m 35 with babies so I just stick to minimalism for now to keep it simple. your videos help me decide what is worth adding to my routine and what isn’t. I’ve been using tret and mineral spf religiously for over five years thanks to your videos!
    Love you! ❤️

I’m curious if you check for harmful chemicals in these products especially the sunscreen.

Yes! This☝🏻I use Yuka app to scan bar codes on everything that goes on my skin, shocking how many face/body sunscreens have horrible ingredients😬

I’ve been using estradiol cream 0.01% twice a day on my face for 10 months. It has worked really well so far. My face is no longer dry, it’s thicker, my eyes have a little more lift and my face appears to have its feminine look back. Ever since menopause started I feel like it’s developed a more masculine edge. Sorry it’s hard to explain. I stopped using my 0.1% tretinoin. No more skin peeling and sensitivity but I feel the estradiol works so much better. I’m excited to hear about results! It’s a game changer.

With everything you hear about Estrogen and cancer I feel worried to try it, but since this is topical were you given any cautions by your doctor?

    • @cincinfan2935

@@youtuborama1 I was very concerned about taking it orally at first and didn't try it for 5 years but once the symptoms were worse, I did more research and found there are many benefits. You should consult with your doctor as it's not suitable for everyone but I don't have a family history of breast cancer. As for taking it topically, the doctor stated there is not enough scientific evidence it works but the studies so far show systematic absorption through the skin is minimal. The dosage is 0.01%. So far, the results have been favorable for me.

Just left a message with my dermatologist to see if she’ll give me a prescription for Estriol! I’ve been a faithful fan of the Needless serum for a while now, and am happy that you confirmed that no additional moisturizer is necessary in this hot environment. As always, thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us!🌺

Thank you so much for your updated skincare routine. I credit you for starting my journey at 50 as well, and I use many of the products and gadgets you recommend. I was wondering if you"ve tried SkinMedica TNF serum? I got sucked in with all it's claims, and have purchased it twice. It is so, so expensive but I swear I see a difference. A second job may be necessary if I continue to use it, however! Thoughts on this product?

I disagree with people saying the protocol is out of reach. Compared to many others out there, you're very conservative. You're so inspirational ❤️

Agreed. You don't have to use everything she does. Everyone's skin is different. She also gets promotional products that she gets to use and give reviews on. And she is very honest about them.. her routine is just a suggestion. Thanks Angie 🎉❤

And just pick out what you can afford based on the info she is sharing. In fact her routine is relatively modest given this is a skincare channel. I’m not sure how people think they can get similar results with similar efforts. Use SPF, Tret and Moisturizer if that’s alll you can manage as Angie has often suggested.
