My 15 year old daughter saw a girl looking at St Ives facial scrub yesterday at Ulta and told her all the reasons not to buy it and if she does buy it to only use it on her feet . ❤️
Hi Dr Dray! Love your videos so much! Since you only wear mascara, may I suggest that you keep your old mascara wands and send them to Wands for Wildlife? They are collecting mascara wands to be donated to the Appalachian Wild Life Refuge. Old mascara wands are used to remove fly eggs and larva from the fur of wild animals. They work best because the bristles are so close together.i thought of you when I saw this idea today! :)
Cerave hydrating cleanser, pm moisturizer, and moisturizing cream have solved my dry skin problem. I use them along with the Hada Labo gel cream which has really improved the look of some of my fine lines and even some deeper wrinkles. I am also using differin and the PCA Pigment Bar. Thanks so much for spreading your knowledge. You have helped me so much and I am so grateful I found your channel.
@@DrDrayzday , I am a recovering cancer patient and because of that my skin is very sensitive and dry,,I changed all skin care products to cerave mosturizing face wash and moisturizer in the tub however I have bad reactions on face red itchy welts everytime I try to use it, please any other suggestions for my skin???? Please help!!!
I realize this is an older video but I just wanted to say I really appreciate what you do here on your channel with sharing your knowledge and experience and I appreciate your attitude and who you are as a person, at least as much as I can tell from your videos. So thanks and we love you!
Yeah my skincare favorite for 2018 was without a doubt you Dr Dray, with all of your education and tips. You've saved me so much money, you've changed my way of wearing sunscreen radically, you really do deserve the million of followers someone wished for you here in the comments. So excited for 2019! ❤️❤️❤️
Future video suggestion: At Home Hair Removal devices like Silk'n'Go. I have an older Silk'n model and I love it, it really works for me, it just takes time & dedication, but it's so worth it. I could never afford professional laser treatments. HOWEVER I'm curious on Andrea's opinion of these at home devices, as I'm apprehensive about long term health effects. Yesterday I was ready to "zap" my entire body but worried I'd be exposing myself to too much damage with all the "flashes" from the device. It def affects your eyes, even when closed & looking away. Yes, it's FDA approved but apparently that doesn't mean all that much, ie, a low standard for safety. Thank you!
Dr. Dray going through a tough time in my life but I love seeing your lifestyle and relationship with taking care of your body & health and with your mom. Your a great role model for us young adults and especially women (is 30 considered young adult?!) who are trying to make positive changes in their life and avoid the BS given by society/family/general pressure. Kudos to you for being so brave and putting your life on here for us to observe, despite I’m sure some negative criticism, while maintaining what I can only describe is a positive bedside manner as an MD. Your profession is truly lucky to have you, as are we.
Thank you so much Dr.Dray for these videos. I have suffered from acne and allergic reactions to different cleansers and moisturizers for years. Since watching your videos my skin has cleared and I feel way more confident. I am using Hada Labo oil cleanser, Cerve cleanser, Cerve PM, and Trentinon. Would love to hear your thoughts on Skinceuticals !!!!
I have just discovered your channel and I have been binge watching your videos I’m a medical student and interested in dermatology or surgery and I have been learning a lot from you. Thank you so much for making this channel and spreading awareness and sharing your knowledge with us.
So glad I found your channel! you’ve saved me a ton of money and my skin is improving so much, even fine lines and wrinkles, not to mention my chances of avoiding skin cancer after a lifetime of sun exposure. Thank you Dr. Dray, for your sensible, straightforward advice. You are doing a public service around the world. Saludos from Mexicali, Mexico!
It was great of you to mention the Altruist working with the charity that helps albino people in Africa, since not only they have to deal with this issue, and not having access to treatments etc., but oftenly they are also ostracized and maltreated by their communities. So they need any and every bit of help they can get.
I’ve added many of these products to my “products to try” list but one of my big goals in 2019 is to not spend so much on things I don’t necessarily NEED to buy right this second, SPF is a definite NEED but I have so many backups of other sunscreens I’ve boughten and am waiting to try, i need to burn through some of those before buying any more! The Hado Labo UV White is one of the SPFs I have but haven’t used yet!
I wonder how you would like Glossier's Body Hero wash...its an oil based cleanser and I find that its not stripping whatsoever, but it smells incredible!
I enjoy your videos very much and appreciate the time you take to share your knowledge with viewers. You and your Mom are just too cute together and of course, let's not forget Tybee. May this year bring only joy and happiness to both of you.
Dr Dray, Thank you for taking your time to educate us and help us filter through the BS in the skincare industry. You are such a selfless and generous person - sharing your knowledge with us. I love learning about how different chemicals and products work and their mechanisms and I just want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you! I would like to see a video about acne and pregnancy. Which acne topicals are ok to use when pregnant? Wish you a happy, healthy and balanced 2019! Love from Hong Kong!
This is the 1st time I heard of papaya or rice bran oil. What brand and where do you buy? Do they remove waterproof sunscreen or make up? I am thinking of changing cleansers and since I turned 50, my skin is mostly normal instead of oily. Thank you, I hope you see this.
@@sandiludwig4335 Dr. Adorable is the brand for the rice bran oil. SVA is teh brand for the papaya seed oil. They are both 100% pure cold pressed and I get them from Amazon. I wear Mac waterproof foundation and it does a great job at removing it. I do not know if my sunscreen is waterproof and I can not speak on that but the oils remove everything from my face effortlessly and i do wear alot of make up.
My skin is dry in the winter but more of teh combination side in the summer and it is acne prone. I personally have not experienced any breakouts with these oils.
Have always gotten Cetaphil and Cerve confused and now NO MORE! Thank you! What a gift you are giving the world with your knowledge and research. Wish would have found you sooner!
That HL oil cleanser is the BESTive ever used. With a double cleanse, it removes every bit of makeup, even eye makeup. No matter what oil I used before, after washing and getting out of the shower, there were always still small traces of eye makeup around my eyes. I hope they never stop making this stuff and thanks SO very much for turning me on to this product!!!!
Hi Dr. Dray, I've used many of your favorite products over the years with great results. But now I'm undergoing a chemo regimen for cancer, and I want to try to avoid damaging my skin duing this stressful time. Perhaps you could do a video on maintaining skin quality during chemo : how I can really up the moisture in my very dry chemo skin ; should I continue to use exfoliants that I previously used successfully, like tazorac and occasional gly-luronic peels; Should I continue to use a 2 step Korean cleansing routine or go another way ? I was using Elta MD tinted for my face and untinted for arms/hands. Should those be continued or changed? The majority of chemo recipients that I see are female, so I know there would be interest in such a video. Many thanks.
Thank you for all the time and effort you put in to keep us informed. Your videos are so informative. It’s so nice that you explain why you like the product unlike so many channels who say they love it with no explanation as to why. I look forward to your videos daily and always are telling people what I have learned from you. Wishing you a successful new year.
I use dormer cream on my face the one without sunscreen, they have one with sun screen. It has hyaluronic acid, is fragrance free, won't clog pours, hypoallergenic. Great for acne prone skin also. I started using cetaphil face day cream with SPF uva/uvb 50. Doesn't leave a white film, won't clog pours, absorbs nicely, for sensitive skin, good for all skin types, and doesn't irritate my skin. I also use cetaphil face wash, fragrance and soap free. Cleans nicely without drying you out. I use the one for sensitive skin. I also started using cerave night cream, skin renewing night cream. It helps soften and renew the look of tired skin over night. It has biomimetic peptides, niacinamide, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid. Goes on smoothly without a greasy feeling. It is fragrance free and won't clog pours. I also put the cerave night cream all over my neck. For dry hands I use one By gold bond with aloe and it relieves very dry skin. It also has vitamins A, C, and E. I use it mostly on my hands, feet, elbows.
Love the cereve products. I struggled for years buying different products. Found your RUclips, trashed my expensive stuff, and have only bought cereve for the past year.
After running into your video on needling, your channel has completely changed how my spouse and I care for our skin. Happy New Year to you and your sweet momma! Thanks for your generosity with your knowledge and time!
I 😍😍😍😍😍😍 the Hada Labo Sunscreen for my dark skin. It's moisturizing and leaves absolutely NO Casper the Ghost cast so I enjoy applying it religiously. Thanks for recommending this, Dr Dray, 🤗🤗🤗 Oh, I almost forgot about the Kerasal foot ointment, too. It's a lifesaver and you can get coupons on their website for a whole $1 off per tube.
Would you still recommend this sunscreen? I appreciate your comment because it's hard to find a good sunscreen that doesnt leave a white cast on brown skin...and I hate feeling greasy.
@@msdenise816 Yep, I still use it and love it but a word of caution: if you have sensitive eyes, they would start burning around the 2-hr mark after applying the Hada Labo. I use it if I'm making a quick trip to the nearest grocery store. But I found another fantastic option that doesn't burn my eyes and leaves absolutely no cast at all. It's the Skin Aqua Super Moisture Milk. Check it out here: smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NDVCBVR/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_5?smid=A2G8KFY9FPWKQF&th=1 and this is the new version just released in February. The old version is in a yellow bottle. Another word of caution: This bottle is super small but I bought one to try out the first time and went back for three more bottles after my test. You can also find the full ingredient list on this page: www.ratzillacosme.com/sun/skin-aqua-uv-super-moisture-milk/. I hope this helps.
@@afyaabrafi5433 thank you so much and it absolutely is helpful information. I appreciate you. I have one sunscreen that I like from Amazon and it's a Japanese one as well. Biore UV essence. Zero white cast as well. I'm going to try this one next!
@@msdenise816 You're very welcome! Guess what? I have the Biore UV Watery Essence as well but it also irritates my eyes after about 3 or 4 hours that's why I didn't bother mentioning it. The trial and error person that I am bought two other newly released varieties of the Biore UV and they are HORRIFIC in terms of the white cast!!! I almost looked like a mime, 🤣🤣🤣 But they work fantastically under makeup and I use MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation.
Happy New Year, Dr. Dray! Thanks to your excellent vids on skincare I drastically downsized the products I was using in 2018, reinvestigated the Cera Ve line, and generally streamlined my use and purchases. My skin has not suffered from the lack of expensive goos, and is maybe even in better condition now...certainly my wallet is better. Thanks!
I bought the CeraVe hydrating cleanser last week and the moisturizing cream yesterday as per your recommendation and I absolutely love them!! Thank you!!
Thank you so much Dr Dray. You have helped me create a routine that works for my skin type. I used to suffer from low self confidence because of my skin, it was full of acne. You inspired me to go to my doctor who prescribed Epiduo for me. He also told me what kind of products to look for and I wanted your videos to find the good products. I threw my horrible products and switched to better ones, I saw the difference overnight. I’m currently looking for a cleanser and I’m looking in to the Cerave Foaming Clenaser, Simple Moisturizing Wash or the Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Creamy formula. I don’t currently have a sunscreen yet so please don’t kill me! Lol anyways thank you for doing what you do. Current routine: AM - Splash water on face - Use Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser (not working for my skin looking for new) - Wash off - Apply Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer PM - Splash water on face - Use Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser (not working for my skin looking for new) - Wash off - Apply Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel cream - Seal with Cerave Moisturizing Lotion - Wait 10 minutes to dry - Apply Epiduo
Dr. Dray, again thank you for educating us on skin care. This is the evening skin care routine that works well for me: Extra virgin coconut oil for removing make-up and mascara. Liquid Neutrogena Pure Mild Facial Cleanser for face wash Clinique Moisture Surge 72H for hydration on wet face CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion on wer face Epiduo mixed with a bit of CeraVe Lotion
I wish you and your mom a wonderful and productive year! Thank you for your informative videos and knowledge. Look forward to new videos. Love from Bangkok, Thailand.
I have tried quite of few of the products that you have liked and havr been satisfied with most. My prescription retinol and CeraVe is the game changer for me, l"m looking younger then l did five years ago. Happy Monday Happy New Years to you ,your Mom and Tybee!! See you nexted year! 😊🍁
Thought you would be interested to know that when I found your channel a year ago I switched from high end ZO Obagi products to Cerave and Hado labo. My skin has never looked better!! And my checkbook thanks you❤
A lot of My skincare favourite this year is from your recommendation!!! I am so glad that I found your channel a year ago. I started to wear sunscreen regularly now (I always forgot to put them on when I am rushing out the door in the morning, so I now just keep one in my purse and one in my office to reapplying. I highly recommend this approach to anyone out there struggling with applying sunscreen!) and I have noticed that I got less breakout since I started to wear sunscreen regularly! Thank you dr dray, we love you!
I was so excited to see my fave sunscreen Olay Complete. I've been using it for about 6 years...it's absolutely amazing. I get compliments on my skin all the time and this is my main secret to sun protection. It absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel amazing. Thanks for your amazing videos..I love you! :)
You can use an oil cleanser for a double cleanse if you want to. I prefer the Peach & Lily Peach Pudding makeup cleanser. Will also say this until I’m blue in the face, that my all time favorite cleanser is Purity Made Simple Cleanser by Philosophy, which is a best seller here in the US. They worked with doctors on this formula. It’s a gentle gel cleanser that removes all waterproof mascara and makeup without stinging your eyes. No tugging or dragging your skin. It cleans the pores. It will even remove those temporary Tattoos. I use it sometimes with my Clarisonic brush. This cleanser has been a real game changer for my skin. I’m 59 & have been using this for at least 20 years now. No need really for a separate eye makeup remover. For Antiperspirant, I love Secret & find that one works well. I tried Schmidts & got horrible arm pit STAINS & I was at someone’s house for Christmas Dinner. This never happened to me before. Even the two dermatologists on Doctorly say there is no evidence that Aluminum is bad for anyone in Antiperspirant. You need it to keep the wetness down,
i’ve recently read several articles making me scared to wear sunscreen. they mainly talk about brith defects, causing cancer, affecting sperm etc. are these articles worth listening to? i want to protect my skin but these articles make me apprehensive to do so.
I dont know what "articles" you are referring to. There is a lot of fear mongering and false information on the internet, as well as misrepresentation and misinterpretation of laboratory and clinical data. Sunscreens have been shown to reduce skin cancer formation and photoaging.
I never wear sunscreen. I am 62 years old no skin cancer. I do not Sun worship, I wear a hat when I go out into the sun. I do like to get about 10 minutes of sun on my skin. So, no, I am not a believer of sunscreen.
Thanks so much for acknowledging your Canadian followers and what brands are readily available here. There is a marked difference with respect to variety and availability when comparing American vs Canadian products. Happy New Year to you!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎆 laxative aisle $1.89 mineral oil forever! 😆 Thanks for all that you do for us, Dr. Dray. You have some serious dedication, and we are all so grateful for everything you bring to the table. ❤️
Hi!! I am a new subscriber and I love you!! I am a RN in a Dermatology Clinic and I find your content to be so relevant. I live in MS so our weather is comparable. You are adorable and a joy to watch!! Thank you!!
Looking for advice on skin care for the kids? My son has dry skin on his cheeks(raised bumps). He is almost 9 and I have started him on cerave moistursing cream, alternating hydrating wash at night & the renewing one (small amount salicylic acid) as he has been getting some spots. Is this correct or should he only be using water? My daughter is using the moisturer and hydrating wash she is only 7. Would it cause spots? As she has gotten a couple. Happy New Year.
I used to use Freederm when I was a teen and I don't remember whether I liked it or not. Obviously they've extended their range because that one sounds great. And because of this channel, I've fallen in love with CeraVe.
Hi Dr. Dray! Since I have been using products you recommend and taking some of your suggestions I have seen great changes in my skin. I no longer use a soap on my extremities and the skin on my legs and arms looks so much better. I also started using Cerave healing ointment on my lips and the color has come back to my lips! Never thought I would see that at 59 years old. My list could go in and on with how you have changed so many aspects of my skin health. I am a fan for life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The Altruist SPF 30 is really nice. I bought two tubes and like it for my face and neck. It doesn’t create the shine like the SPF 50 if anyone is interested...
Hi, Dr Dray Should we be switching up products from time to time? I’m still doing oil cleanse, cerave foam cleanser, hydra boost, then aveeno calming lotion. Does our skin get “bored”? 🧐
I just bought the hydra boost and I love it. Where do it fit it in the routine. I'm 53 postmenopausal and have some discolouration and occasional an occasional out break.
You have never steered me wrong. I haven't seen my mom in a few years, but I visited her this Christmas. She was amazed at how clear my face looked from following your advice. Making a list. I think I will splurge on the 3 and 1 eye. I am 31 and have a graveyard job. I have noticed aging first in my eyes. I think that I will also get that one tinted sunscreen you mentioned that has the most coverage. I have stopped using concealer since watching you, but it might help smooth out my acne scars.
We already know there's gonna be a lot of cerave on this list 😁 happy new year everyone! Thanks for imparting a lot of knowledge on us dr dray! Not only regarding skincare, but in life in general! Your channel is in my favourites this year ❤️💕
Since this is the season of gratitude, I wanted to share how much I love your Vlogs and have learned a tremendous amount from watching! I found your channel in February of 2018 after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and was searching for information on hair loss and dermatology. A silver lining was definitely finding you on RUclips! I've changed up my skincare and makeup routine dramatically in the last year based on your recommendations. Your RUclips channel was a favorite find for me in 2018! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. Happy New Year!
I found you channel a little while ago but never heeded your advice and I was stuck on using my expensive fragrance filled products. In the meantime fighting what I thought was hormonal acne (few but persistent pimples on my chin and forehead) but as soon as I switched to your recommend products like Cerave my breakouts have completely stopped! Thanks for providing your expertise complete free!
@@lisal440 I think she doesnt need it so why wear it. She does have beautiful skin.. Goes to show sunscreen is the best anti aging thing you can do for your skin. Ive loved watching dr dray this year. i barley use anything with fragrance anymore. I'm so so glad to have found her.
Happy New Year to you Dr. Dray, Momma Dray and Tybee!!!! I was at the store this morning looking at skin care products....picking them up...seeing fragrance as an ingredient and putting them all back down again!!! lol!! Thanks for your great education to all of us!!
I retried retin a 0.05 and have had great results with minimal irritation thanks to your skin care advise! Cerave has replaced my face and body lotion and my skin has never looked better on top of saving me so much money. Thanks Dr. Dray
Thanks for sharing your favorites. My goal for 2019 is to find a sunscreen that won't burn my eyes. I'm just not having any luck but I will continue my search. Happy New Year!!
Great advices. Please, dr, could you make a video about figuring out when our skin is oily and when is hydrated? I always wonder which are the differences between these two types.
Happy new year Dr. Dray! You are the best skin care expert on RUclips. Thank you for all the information you provide to us. You have built a community of positive viewers and I enjoy reading their comments; everyone seems to want to help each other. Thank you!
I’ve really been enjoying my Clinique dramatically different hydrating jelly as my humectant moisturizer. I probably wouldn’t have purchased that exact one, but I ran through a few samples of it and I was heavily influenced by Christmas time sales 🤭. Happy new year everyone!
I love all the Hada Labo products I've tried, especially the hyaluronic acid lotion. My mom, sister and I have used numerous bottles of it. Yesstyle is also one of my go-to Asian skincare sites (especially for Taiwan skincare) but when it comes to Hada Labo, they are hugely overpriced there. Have you considered Amazon Japan, amazon.com or eBay? They are half price, as they should be.
Try a lactic acid infused lotion or spray. I used Amlactin (cheap as chips at Costco). It hydrated my skin and smoothed out my KP on my upper arms. After a while I just bought some lactic acid from Lotion Crafters and added it to my favourite body butters. Just as effective and even less expensive. Do not use it after shaving though, it will *burn*.
Thanks so much, Dr Dray! ❤️ I love Cerave and Hada Labo too! ❤️ However, the Olay Sensitive Daily Moisturizer SPF30 broke me out into red and itchy hives that lasted 2-3 days.... the only way I healed my face was layering the skin with copious amounts of Cerave in a tub. I must be allergic to something in the Olay Sensitive SPF30!
I use Lansinoh HPA lanolin mini tubes on my lips. It is the most occlusive treatment I have found for lips; lasting all night long in our dry Colorado air. It's still present on my lips when I wake up in the morning. Fortunately, I'm not sensitive to lanolin!
Happy New years to you and your mom!! Thanks for the best new year's gift I could ask for...another TREMENDOUSLY helpful video. My wife and I love your videos...yes addicting to say the least! You've turned us onto beginning to use Hada Labo products and we would love for you to review their super hyaluronic acid hydrating light cream or at least look at the ingredients and let us know your thoughts. We like face moisturizers non nonsense high quality that are safe. Our current brand is Sebamed clear face care gel. We're hesitant to switch to the Hada Labo because it doesn't seem to have any preservatives which you taught us are important. It is very similar to the sebamed only removes preservatives. Please take a quick look at the ingredients and let us know your thoughts and if we should be worried the hado labo has no preservatives. Cheers🎉
Thank you for your wonderful and informative videos, Dr Dray. I have become a Cerave convert and love it. No more fragrance laden skin care for me!! Happy New Year! 🎉
per your recommendations, I have purchased the CeraVe PM facial moisturizing lotion as well as the CeraVe foaming face wash (I prefer a foamy consistency to my face wash and I have oily skin). I love these products, they have been working great for me! Thanks so much for the recommendations! Also thank you for your informative videos. I have learned so much from watching you (I never forget my sunscreen these days.. and I'm subscribed, lol). Have a wonderful New Year! I'm excited to see what more I can learn from watching your channel in 2019.
I was wondering how you felt about fragrance in your shampoo....or hair products in general! Lol I love how passionate you are about non fragrance skin care...I’m definitely starting to hear you....but I’m a sucker for the experience! I’m the same way with hair products...probably even more so.
Yay! You have had such an influence on my skincare routine already. I have my own channel & I literally stopped myself from posting a skincare routine once I found you so that I can reevaluate before I do now that I know more about ingredients 😹 so THANK YOU! :') happy new year!
Fairly certain I got all of my 2018 favorites from your videos this year. 😀I fell in love with the Kerasal after seeing your video about it, and now use nothing else on my feet. I've also been using the Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Milk SPF 50+ (which I found on your sunscreens for oily skin video) for about three solid months now, daily, and I think I've finally found my go-to sunscreen! And I credit you with my discovery of Vanicream this year, and a HUGE reduction in rosacea flare-ups and body acne because of it; their shampoo, new body wash, medicated Z-Bar, antiperspirant, and Lite Lotion are now staples in my routines. Happiest of New Years, Dr Dray, and thank you for all of your knowledge this past year. ❤️
Happy new year Dr. Dray and family! It's nice to see what you've been enjoying. My favorite would be hada labo cleansing oil. Thank you for that wonderful recommendation. Love how it melts makeup away.
I've tried the cerave hydrating cleanser, multiple times and always notice a slight burning with it.. Bummer because I love almost all of their other products
A Google User same .. I love cerave but that hydrating cleanser burns and the foaming facial cleanser is too drying. So I use one squirt of the foaming and one squirt of the hydrating cleanser . That seems to work better at least for me
I find that Amlactin lotion (great deal at Costco) keeps callouses at bay and my winter skin barrier intact. I love it. Also, Keri lotion original is amazing for hands and body. It has fragrance though.
Do you prefer altruist or elta MD uv sport if you had to pick one and why? I prefer the more moisturizing ones. If I may suggest a video (updated) topic of top 5 holy grail sunscreens ranked. I appreciate you! I have no words to how cerave cream has significantly helped my eczema prone skin, thanks to you.
I am a very enthusiastic convert to many of these products. I think I discovered your channel early in 2018, so thanks for the great, informative content and for my new and improved skincare regimen! Happy New Year! :)
Have you ever tried using honey as a face wash? I'm in college and my biochemistry professor recommended to use honey as a face wash? Do you think that is enough? Is it good for all skin types? My skin is extremely oily.
I'm so glad I found this channel. I'm 35 I've never had a skin routine until this MONTH! Lol. Trying the Neutrogena hyloronic and CeraVe PM, (and AM but I work night shift so I never see the sun) so happy with it. The best advice was definitely for my legs (wish I could insert pics) my legs are so bad with scars and scratches from itching I've stopped using soap, started lotion to shave and CeraVe such an improvement! My mom lives in So FL and has skin CA I sent her Elta MD sunscreen because she said she couldnt put on sunscreen the way you do because of the stinging in her eyes, she's Soo happy with the Elta says it's working great and no sting. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!♥️♥️♥️♥️
My 15 year old daughter saw a girl looking at St Ives facial scrub yesterday at Ulta and told her all the reasons not to buy it and if she does buy it to only use it on her feet . ❤️

smart move!
I’m new to this channel, why is it bad?
@@Sunshine-ui8bu basically, the exfoliants can cause micro tears in the skin. Far too harsh for the face.

Omg thank you for that info! That is amazing!
What a great idea. My yearly mascara purchases alone could probably keep them covered for a decade.

What do you use? Because she had reviewed different products. Dont know which are outstanding
Yes , pleas share :-) it seems to me Dr drey doesn't have acne prone skin at all so I'm reticent to use the same cerave moisturizing cream as her.
Great video, thank you! I am now a repeat “sunscreener” and a Cerave LOVER thanks to you! I love your longer hair! Happy New Year!
Thank you so much for all of your support, for watching, and for commenting! Best wishes for 2019!
Thank you Dr.Dray
I never buy any skin care products without checking your videos first.
I have learned so much from you.
Happy New Year Dr. Dray! You have made so many of us “mini dermatologists” with all of your invaluable information! 😁. We love you! ❤️
Happy New Year!
Thank you so much! Happy New Year :)
Sometimes it takes me hours to get through your videos because I’m stopping to search for the products you recommend!!
They're in the descriptions!
Dr Dray,
Thank you for taking your time to educate us and help us filter through the BS in the skincare industry.
I LOVE the Kerasal foot ointment and am shocked you use it too. No more need for expensive pedicures and it keeps feet flawless. Great video as always
I use papaya oil and/ or rice bran oil as an oil cleanser. They both work very well and gives a brightening effect and very affordable.
Love your channel. I’m a former scientist (molecular biology) and so your straight talk from an expert is so appealing. Thank you ❤️
thanks for watching! former mol bio here too
That HL oil cleanser is the BESTive ever used. With a double cleanse, it removes every bit of makeup, even eye makeup. No matter what oil I used before, after washing and getting out of the shower, there were always still small traces of eye makeup around my eyes. I hope they never stop making this stuff and thanks SO very much for turning me on to this product!!!!
it is great!
Hi Dr. Dray,
I've used many of your favorite products over the years with great results.
“Well hey guys” 😍 who else thinks Dr Dray is adorable! I love that woman she has such a great energy and my English has improved thanks to her lol
Me too
I use dormer cream on my face the one without sunscreen, they have one with sun screen.
La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid Facial Sunscreen SPF50+ is simply perfection!
Happy new year!
Dr Dray the Freederm you use is half price on Amazon UK at the moment (equivalent to $3.80 usd) xx
Thank you!!
glad to hear!
I use both the cerave products you mentioned. That foaming cleanser is the bomb.
Simply, thank you. Happy New Year!!
Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!
Current routine:
AM
- Splash water on face
- Use Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser (not working for my skin looking for new)
- Wash off
- Apply Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer
PM
- Splash water on face
- Use Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser (not working for my skin looking for new)
- Wash off
- Apply Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel cream
- Seal with Cerave Moisturizing Lotion
- Wait 10 minutes to dry
- Apply Epiduo
cerave is one of my favorites all of my family uses it
Dr. Dray, again thank you for educating us on skin care. This is the evening skin care routine that works well for me:
Extra virgin coconut oil for removing make-up and mascara.
Liquid Neutrogena Pure Mild Facial Cleanser for face wash
Clinique Moisture Surge 72H for hydration on wet face
CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion on wer face
Epiduo mixed with a bit of CeraVe Lotion
I wish you and your mom a wonderful and productive year! Thank you for your informative videos and knowledge. Look forward to new videos. Love from Bangkok, Thailand.
Thank you so much for all of your support, for watching, and for commenting! Best wishes for 2019!
Thank you Dr Dray for introducing me to hada labo uv white! It is the most cosmetically elegant and comfortable sunscreen I have ever tried.
Yep. I purchased those first 2 because of you and my skin has never been happier.
Happy New Year! Thanks for all your hard work to educate us!
Happy NY and thank you so much for all of your support!
Wishing you and your mom a wonderful, healthy, Happy New Year!
Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!
Clay Vanostrand I mean you’ll also get cancer possibly from not wearing it 🤷🏻♀️☹️
I dont know what "articles" you are referring to. There is a lot of fear mongering and false information on the internet, as well as misrepresentation and misinterpretation of laboratory and clinical data. Sunscreens have been shown to reduce skin cancer formation and photoaging.
yes, look at who wrote the articles. Who are these researchers? This is one I have never heard before.
Get mineral and you wont have to worry. Chemical is where those fears come from
I never wear sunscreen.
That's a great question.
Your kids are that young and are starting to have acne? What are you doing, take them to the doctor or something. Check their thyroids
I used to use Freederm when I was a teen and I don't remember whether I liked it or not. Obviously they've extended their range because that one sounds great. And because of this channel, I've fallen in love with CeraVe.
Thank you for a knowledge filled year with you! Such a great channel! 👍👍👍
Hi Dr.
Glad to hear that has helped!
The Altruist SPF 30 is really nice. I bought two tubes and like it for my face and neck. It doesn’t create the shine like the SPF 50 if anyone is interested...
I like that one too!
I just found you, and I find your personality to be just the sweetest. You are my friend in my head. Thank you for all that you do.
Hi, Dr Dray
Should we be switching up products from time to time?
I’m still doing oil cleanse, cerave foam cleanser, hydra boost, then aveeno calming lotion. Does our skin get “bored”? 🧐
Just do a hydrafacial every now and then to reset it. I say use what works for you. But you may need to change it up with change of seasons.
Your channel is in my favourites this year ❤️💕
Thanks for watching and for all of your support Ms Ashley! Happy NY!
Happy New Year! thank you so much!
Well I know what I am doing nye! Watching this video! Happy and healthy new year to you, mom, and Tybee!
Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!
Dr. Dray, your skin looks so good that it looks like you're wearing foundation.
no foundation...ever...cant and wont wear it
I'd say that's probably the tretinoin!
Dr Dray LOL! Is it because you don’t enjoy it or is it not healthy for the skin?
@@lisal440 I think she doesnt need it so why wear it. She does have beautiful skin.. Goes to show sunscreen is the best anti aging thing you can do for your skin. Ive loved watching dr dray this year. i barley use anything with fragrance anymore. I'm so so glad to have found her.
Was thinking that too!
Cerave has been rlly good for me lately and honestly the moisturizer is marvelous
Happy New Year to you Dr. Dray, Momma Dray and Tybee!!!! I was at the store this morning looking at skin care products....picking them up...seeing fragrance as an ingredient and putting them all back down again!!! lol!! Thanks for your great education to all of us!!
Thanks for watching and Happy & Healthy New Year to you!
Happy New Year!!
julie graham me too I just put it every where but my forehead and wear bangs
Great advices. Please, dr, could you make a video about figuring out when our skin is oily and when is hydrated? I always wonder which are the differences between these two types.
Dr Dray! What's your opinion on Manuka honey for skin care? And why?
Happy new year Dr. Dray! You are the best skin care expert on RUclips. Thank you for all the information you provide to us. You have built a community of positive viewers and I enjoy reading their comments; everyone seems to want to help each other. Thank you!
Thanks!
I’ve really been enjoying my Clinique dramatically different hydrating jelly as my humectant moisturizer. I probably wouldn’t have purchased that exact one, but I ran through a few samples of it and I was heavily influenced by Christmas time sales 🤭. Happy new year everyone!
Happy New Year!
So is it safe to exfoliate the body?? Is there a way to get rid of the dots left behind after shaving legs ( strawberry legs) ??
Try a lactic acid infused lotion or spray. I used Amlactin (cheap as chips at Costco). It hydrated my skin and smoothed out my KP on my upper arms. After a while I just bought some lactic acid from Lotion Crafters and added it to my favourite body butters. Just as effective and even less expensive.
Do not use it after shaving though, it will *burn*.
My face would be LOST without you!! Thank you so much for all you do for us!!!
Cheers🎉
Thanks for watching and Happy & Healthy New Year to you!
Thank you for your wonderful and informative videos, Dr Dray. I have become a Cerave convert and love it. No more fragrance laden skin care for me!! Happy New Year! 🎉
Happy New Year Dr. Dray!!!! I wish you a million more subscribers this year!!!
Thank you so much for all of your support, for watching, and for commenting! Best wishes for 2019!
per your recommendations, I have purchased the CeraVe PM facial moisturizing lotion as well as the CeraVe foaming face wash (I prefer a foamy consistency to my face wash and I have oily skin).
Thank you, Dr Dray. Happy New Year to you, Mom, and Tybee. May you all be blessed.
Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!
I was wondering how you felt about fragrance in your shampoo....or hair products in general! Lol I love how passionate you are about non fragrance skin care...I’m definitely starting to hear you....but I’m a sucker for the experience!
I’m the same way with hair products...probably even more so.
Can you review Indeed Laboratories products!?!
SO happy I discovered you! I'm at work and I am just listening all day to all your wonderful info on skincare! my amazon cart is filling up!
Yay! You have had such an influence on my skincare routine already. I have my own channel & I literally stopped myself from posting a skincare routine once I found you so that I can reevaluate before I do now that I know more about ingredients 😹 so THANK YOU! :') happy new year!
Happy NY!
Just subbed to your channel!
Artist N Soul thank you 💕💕
Dr Dray any ideas for sideburn acne or hairline acne for Whitehead’s
really great video dr. dray, thanks for the recommendations and wishing you, your mother and tybee a great New Year!
Thanks so much! Happy New Year to you! Best wishes for a happy/healthy 2019!
Happy new year Dr. Dray and family! It's nice to see what you've been enjoying. My favorite would be hada labo cleansing oil. Thank you for that wonderful recommendation. Love how it melts makeup away.
Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!
That seems to work better at least for me
@@emilybell2694 Thanks for the tip! I will definitely give it a try💛
I have no words to how cerave cream has significantly helped my eczema prone skin, thanks to you.
i recommend choosing what is most available to you and most affordable/in your budget
I am a very enthusiastic convert to many of these products. I think I discovered your channel early in 2018, so thanks for the great, informative content and for my new and improved skincare regimen! Happy New Year! :)
Happy New Year!
