The commercials tell you to watch a short video so you can get the 3 or however many ingredients you need for this wonderful product to work! You watch almost an hour long video-and yes, they name a bunch off “ingredients” off- but then tell you that if you had to “source” these items it would cost a small fortune, so they “do us the BIG favor” 🙄 of bottling it all up and selling you this wonderful product that’s worth over 100$ but because you watched the video, we’ll give it to you for 60$ a bottle!! THOSE,kind of commercials RUclips is good for… I hate those damn infomercials!!!

I use the L’Oréal glycolic acid cleansing gel, then the Vichy vitamin C, and last put on the neutragena Retinol moisturizer every night. Also I found that taking a probiotic and fish oil every day has made my rosacea almost disappear. Hope it works for you too!

There are way too many channels w " Anti Aging" , skin care, make up, hair styles, vitamins, even what to wear & what not to wear. I'm 66 I've stopped coloring my hair & actually like how it looks. I've quit using anti wrinkle miracle 60 second serums etc... I dress the way I want to, which is goth/rock/punk, use minimal foundation/eye make up. Like bling & bold/vibrant/lipstick colors. I don't follow, I don't join, I won't conform, I'm just me and accept that I'm this age. 🙂
I am on board with wearing what you like and being confident in your own skin. Co-signed! But I will always strive to keep my skin hydrated and radiant. I don't love the term "anti-aging", but my goal is to look healthy and well-rested. So I am all for effective and sensibly priced drugstore skin care products.

I'm saving your product recommendations, and sharing this video with same age friends who complement me on my skin. Your informative videos are so valuable! In my younger days i never thought of a skin care routine. Moisturizer, SPF foundation and go. Now in my 60’s I began to notice dull, uneven, dry skin. I found your channel, took notes and made a plan. 1st of Oct, for my 64th B.D, I bought my self a present, all the items for day & night that I thought I needed. Fast forward to the end of Oct, my daughter’s 1st remark was, Wow your skin looks amazing , did you change your make up? Nope, it is the canvass under that has improved. Thank you Dr.L !!!
Great info. I purchased the Avene Retrinal eye cream after you did a video about it. After several weeks of nightly use I have softer smoother skin around my eyes, it really works well, and I’ve had no irritation. I just ordered my second bottle because I don’t want to be without it when this one runs out 🙌🏻
@@ms.c76 yes it does. I use curology; even though I don’t apply it around my eyes, it was migrating and making my skin dry and flaky around my eyes. I now apply this before my curology, and it has alleviated the dryness. I only use this at night since it is a retinoid. For daytime I like the neutrogena hydroboost gel cream extra-dry (fragrance-free) since that’s my moisturizer the the rest of my face. I’ve found this to be a great combo for me.

Exactly my thoughts. If you don’t apply correct, then it’s worthless. Layer all three after cleansing at night? Sunscreen during day of course but direction on the use procedure is most important.

You just popped up on my utube feed for the first time and WOW am I glad the algorithm gods (little "g"!) smiled on me today. I get so confused with sooo many choices in the drugstore, which is where my budget takes me these days, i know I'm not alone in that situation! I am in my mid seventies but have a youthful looking face and figure which i have never really "let myself go", which we all know where that leads. However, my skincare routine is nothing fancy not cause I didn't want to do more but just from overwhelmedness over the many choices. This helps me so much.. Also I need to see a dermatologist for some mole removals and over all check ups, but I am caring for my brother who is in poor health and I don't have alot of time so this is perfect format for me to listen, go back and take notes and soak in the info!! Can't wait to go back and watch other vids on other topics. I have had hair loss from misdiagnosed hypothyroidism. I now take NP Thyroid and bio-identical hormones but it is still a fraction of what it once was. I wear great wigs that I style very casually and "messy" in gorgeous colors that look like high end highlights I used to have. By the way after 70 years I trained myself to sleep somewhat elevated on my back and I also do facial exercises. If I had started those two things decades ago, I bet I'd look 30 years younger! They make a huge difference, wish I'd started in my 30's!! But glad I did. It is possible to teach an old dog new tricks!! Thanks again, subscribed immediately!! With the bell on!!

Hi doctor, u are so kind to explain this all on u tube. Most of the dermatologist are after money with their products being advertised. But when u try them they won’t do much. 1st day u use them, it will make some difference in the skin but as u keep using there won’t be any more difference. It will stay same forever no matter how much u apply and how long u apply. But one thing I can tell u is, uuuh are the 1st dermatologist I have ever seen who does not explain or sets examples of your own products and test other products to see how good they are on you yourself 1st to show public the clarity of that product. Hats off to u dear Doc. @@Mysunnylifeee. Yes. I also use it….three times a week. I’m 76 and have no wrinkles…because I used sunscreen on my face for years. Don’t use Retin-A during the day, as it makes skin sun sensitive. Most derms will not tell you this: wait 30 minutes after cleansing face before you apply Retin-A. You’ll be less sensitive to it as a result. Use about 1/2 of a PEA size amount…it has emollients in it that make it easy to spread. DO NOT put it on your nose or lips! Wash your hands after application before touching your face again. Keep it out of your tear troughs or upper eyelids…they will peel!
I swear you made this video just for me! I have very uneven & dull skin due to aging & Lupus side effects. I have been using all of these products in serum form & also Tretinoin for the last year & am finally seeing some results. Sadly, I really didn’t start a good skin routine until 2 years ago, when I was 56 years old. I so wish I would have taken better care of my skin when I was younger, ugh! Just wanted to share the best way to care for your skin is from the inside out. Sweet potatoes, Salmon, avocado, kiwis, beans, etc. I made a tomato soup and instantly my skin looked younger. I was shocked at how fast it worked. It's a regular now!

I use the L’Oréal glycolic acid cleansing gel, then the Vichy vitamin C, and last put on the neutragena Retinol moisturizer every night. Also I found that taking a probiotic and fish oil every day has made my rosacea almost disappear. Hope it works for you too!

There are way too many channels w " Anti Aging" , skin care, make up, hair styles, vitamins, even what to wear & what not to wear. I'm 66 I've stopped coloring my hair & actually like how it looks. I've quit using anti wrinkle miracle 60 second serums etc... I dress the way I want to, which is goth/rock/punk, use minimal foundation/eye make up. Like bling & bold/vibrant/lipstick colors. I don't follow, I don't join, I won't conform, I'm just me and accept that I'm this age. 🙂

Your informative videos are so valuable! In my younger days i never thought of a skin care routine. Moisturizer, SPF foundation and go. Now in my 60’s I began to notice dull, uneven, dry skin. I found your channel, took notes and made a plan. 1st of Oct, for my 64th B.D, I bought my self a present, all the items for day & night that I thought I needed. Fast forward to the end of Oct, my daughter’s 1st remark was, Wow your skin looks amazing , did you change your make up? Nope, it is the canvass under that has improved. Thank you Dr.L !!!

Great info. I purchased the Avene Retrinal eye cream after you did a video about it. After several weeks of nightly use I have softer smoother skin around my eyes, it really works well, and I’ve had no irritation. I just ordered my second bottle because I don’t want to be without it when this one runs out 🙌🏻

@@ms.c76 yes it does. I use curology; even though I don’t apply it around my eyes, it was migrating and making my skin dry and flaky around my eyes. I now apply this before my curology, and it has alleviated the dryness. I only use this at night since it is a retinoid. For daytime I like the neutrogena hydroboost gel cream extra-dry (fragrance-free) since that’s my moisturizer the the rest of my face. I’ve found this to be a great combo for me.

Exactly my thoughts. If you don’t apply correct, then it’s worthless. Layer all three after cleansing at night? Sunscreen during day of course but direction on the use procedure is most important.

You just popped up on my utube feed for the first time and WOW am I glad the algorithm gods (little "g"!)
smiled on me today. I get so confused with sooo many choices in the drugstore, which is where my budget takes me these days, i know I'm not alone in that situation! I am in my mid seventies but have a youthful looking face and figure which i have never really "let myself go", which we all know where that leads. However, my skincare routine is nothing fancy not cause I didn't want to do more but just from overwhelmedness over the many choices. This helps me so much.. Also I need to see a dermatologist for some mole removals and over all check ups, but I am caring for my brother who is in poor health and I don't have alot of time so this is perfect format for me to listen, go back and take notes and soak in the info!! Can't wait to go back and watch other vids on other topics. I have had hair loss from misdiagnosed hypothyroidism. I now take NP Thyroid and bio-identical hormones but it is still a fraction of what it once was. I wear great wigs that I style very casually and "messy" in gorgeous colors that look like high end highlights I used to have. By the way after 70 years
I trained myself to sleep somewhat elevated on my back and I also do facial exercises. If I had started those two things decades ago, I bet I'd look 30 years younger! They make a huge difference, wish I'd started in my 30's!! But glad I did. It is possible to teach an old dog new tricks!! Thanks again, subscribed immediately!! With the bell on!!

Hi doctor, u are so kind to explain this all on u tube. Most of the dermatologist are after money with their products being advertised. But when u try them they won’t do much. 1st day u use them, it will make some difference in the skin but as u keep using there won’t be any more difference. It will stay same forever no matter how much u apply and how long u apply. But one thing I can tell u is, uuuh are the 1st dermatologist I have ever seen who does not explain or sets examples of your own products and test other products to see how good they are on you yourself 1st to show public the clarity of that product. Hats off to u dear Doc. Ive used Tretinoin for almost 3 years, the best decision ever, it basically gave me a new skin after 9 months of nightly use.

@@Mysunnylifeee. Yes. I also use it….three times a week. I’m 76 and have no wrinkles…because I used sunscreen on my face for years. Don’t use Retin-A during the day, as it makes skin sun sensitive. Most derms will not tell you this: wait 30 minutes after cleansing face before you apply Retin-A. You’ll be less sensitive to it as a result. Use about 1/2 of a PEA size amount…it has emollients in it that make it easy to spread. DO NOT put it on your nose or lips! Wash your hands after application before touching your face again. Keep it out of your tear troughs or upper eyelids…they will peel!

I have been using all of these products in serum form & also Tretinoin for the last year & am finally seeing some results. Sadly, I really didn’t start a good skin routine until 2 years ago, when I was 56 years old. I so wish I would have taken better care of my skin when I was younger, ugh! We need 6 products, cleanser, sun screen, moisturizer, retinoids, acids and Vitamin C. I was underusing asides and Vitamin C. Post menopausal women may be interested in an estriol cream, as well. Sweet potatoes, Salmon, avocado, kiwis, beans, etc.
I made a tomato soup and instantly my skin looked younger. I was shocked at how fast it worked. It's a regular now!
