Being nice costs nothing but just makes your day! I had a lady roll her car window down when I was filling my tire with air and she asked if I needed a wet wipe to wipe my hands because it always makes her hands dirty to do that and it caught me by surprise that anyone would be that sweet because it’s so unheard of now days. It just made my day! ❤
I have only been to Harrods once when Diana died, everything was so expensive.l wanted a Harrods carrier but you had to buy something.l went to the jewellery counter and said to the assistant please could l have a carrier bag..He put 4 out on the counter and said choose one, with that he rolled.up the four and said take them all.Have never forgotten his kindness.
If we went in the lead to christmas in order to get a carrier bag I used to buy a book that I had already planned to buy as a gfit. The books were never more than the RRP.
Hannah I work at Harrods and I will be informing the management to watch this video. You are right that the service can be hit and miss which it should not be at a place such as Harrods. As always I love your content, all the Best and I hope you do more our new Christmas stuff and the new Branded goods are very good. The L/G Harrods shop has been upgraded and the response has been very good. Take care Malcolm.
Perhaps you were recording them and they were frustrated. Did you ask if it was ok to record in the store. I would be mortified if I go out shopping only to find out I am on some You Tuber video.
@@HannahRickettsThere's a whole 'Harrods approved" process all the staff have to go through whether working shop floor, banqueting or head office/internal. They just need to pay more in the changing financial climate. They could offer more to their staff. Dealing with demanding clients is challenging.
down to earth ?...she literally said "you´re not made to feel like you´re worthy...it´s not that special anymore" pmsl...if thats not a snob then i don´t know what is
In fortums the last time we went the staff seemed to be either indifferent or lack lustre. Yet when i took my then aged mum in 2015 we were served by a few bright and engaging people. One much older man on the tills near the exit was very charming and bent to speak direvtly to mum in her wheelchair to ask how her day had been, and what we had planned next. It made the visit for us.
Embarrassed to say I was one of those dinner party crowds living in Islington during the eighties with a husband who worked in Mayfair...I look back and shudder at how much money we would spend at Harrods...but in those days, you really did feel the whole experience was something special...these days I happily reside in the isle of Wight and am more than content to get basics from Tesco and treats from good old M & S...haven't been to Harrods for yonks so thanks Hannah for saving me the effort..and cash .. Lol 😊👍
I'm SO glad the chocolate lady was nice to you, Hannah! It makes a huge difference if the sales staff are friendly. Thanks for this - the only time I can enjoy Harrods is in videos!
Recently after attending a Harrods birthday party with many balloons children began to jump onto those rubber balloons to burst them , unfortunately the blower upper of those balloons suffered with halitosis and upon each rubber balloon bursting the room filled with a horrible smell, after approximately 45 balloons were broken the whole house became to smell absolutely disgusting.
Absolutely Fabulous, s01e05 Edwina: "Milk?! Where am I supposed to go for milk?" Patsy: "Food hall. On the left, past the fish." Saffy: "You can't get the food shopping in Harrods!" Patsy: Of course you can. You can't expect people who live in Knightsbridge to eat out all the time."
I'm an american, while working at Canary Wharf in 1990, my wife would walk from Maida Vale (our apartment) to Harrods to bring me pastries and some meat to eat. Wonderful wife.

With much excitement and commotion a fortune cookie stand at Harrods was opened for Chinese new year, my daughter was kindly given one by a gentleman in the Cookery department, upon opening the fortune cookie a 20 fortnum and Mason voucher was discovered neatly folded up within the cookie. How kind and an example of fantastic customer service. My daughter was thrilled and we quickly found something to purchase with the voucher.
I collect honey because it doesn’t have an expiration date. When anyone asks me what I want for my birthday, I tell them raw honey. To date I have honey from South Africa, Australia, NZ, Nepal, yucatan, rainforest honey I collected myself with some jungle natives. I love honey. I put it on my face and also eat it when I’m feeling unwell. Also fed my rabbits honey water when they were under the weather and it seemed to work. Honey is great ❤
I remember buying some deli bits in Fortnum & Masons and was served by a very negative energy SA, like it wasn’t necessary and I expected better considering it was a posh store! Having worked in retail in London, from cheap to expensive stores and I remained positive to all customers because it really does make their (and my!) day better.
Funnily enough just had a similar experience in fortnums getting beige picky bits and overcharged. The ticket printed for 2 scotch eggs but I only had one I didn’t notice til I got back to hotel.
Yep. I went into Fortnum and Masons in St Pancras and the woman ignored me standing at the till - there was a woman in front and her child was on the floor, so I looked down to make sure I wasn't stepping on her and waited for the child to move. Then as I moved forward the sales assistant walked past to put a basket away and then went off to talk to her friend. I was about to leave when a manager walked out and saw me staring in shock and the two of them standing in a corner and asked me if I was being served, I said no, so she told the woman to serve me. That sales assistant never even apologised for keeping me waiting. I've had better service in Poundland. Never been in Fortnum and Mason since.
@@okwrite7120 wow that’s terrible! They must be struggling to recruit decent staff. I assume they don’t pay enough for someone to live near enough to the store to afford to travel there for their shifts. I hope the manager dealt with the rude shop assistant that didn’t serve you correctly.
your attitude is so appreciated. London attracts people from all over the world and just interacting with someone with a great attitude makes their day and their visit memorable!
Hands up for who is excited for Hannah to show the Holiday Halls/Hauls (😊) for 2024? She always does a beautiful job at showing all of the gorgeous displays.💖
My husband and I just love your presentations. You are so confident and comfortable in your videos. Absolutely cracked up at some of your comments. Thank you Hannah!
You should never allow others to have control over your emotions. When someone is rude to you, it's a reflection of their own issues, not yours. By remembering that their negativity stems from their own struggles, you free yourself from being burdened by their behavior. Your peace of mind is your own to protect, and how others act is a testament to their character, not yours.
Thanks for taking me shopping, I used to work at Harrods food hall in the charcuterie section 28 years ago. It has certainly changed. Shopping is not the same anymore. It was fun back then, only your feet hurt at the end of the day. Sorry about the grumpy assistant, if I was grumpy I made sure I wasn’t on the shop floor, if you made the effort to give good service, you do have a better day. Look forward to your next Harrods video.❤
I live in Pennsylvania, USA in a suburb of Phila. Believe it or not, these food prices at Harrod's in LONDON are cheaper than the supermarket across the street from me. Food prices in the USA are outrageous!!!
I live in Philly. I’m a lazy bum and use instacart (I don’t have a car), but we have a lot of stores in walking distance. We’ve noticed Aldi’s is pretty cheap compared to Acme /ShopRite. I’ve heard Wegman’s is really expensive but has great food selections. I like Trader Joe’s but I’m too lazy to go there….but it’s just a bus ride away in center city. Sprouts isn’t too bad. We have a subscription with Misfits food, it’s actually really great, the food is great, and the only thing wrong is that it’s food that other stores have too much of, have minor imperfections, or are close to Best Buy date.
Greetings from Oregon! I can listen to you for hours, Hannah! Please, stop talking down about yourself, because you are the BEST! Lazy?! Who wants to cook dinner after all day at work ? ( in my case 12 + hrs) As they say in the US: “Work hard and play hard!” Hannah, let your weekend be sunny and surrounded with beautiful flowers!
Hannah, you're always a breath of fresh air. And I love our little walks around London. Harrods seems weird. I loved it in 1987. I bought my Royal Doulton there. Sadly, it was all destroyed in a forest fire last August. Have a great day.
An engaging personality and with a nice smile thrown in. Why else would I watch a 50 minute vlog of someone shopping. You have a definite knack of making boring things less boring and you remind me of my old primary school teacher.😊
Back in the day when I was a lad, the perfumery department was the Banking Hall. There as a wonderful high ceiling, now hidden, and green leather sofas lined the centre, with old fashioned grill banking counters on the side. My grandmother could happily pass the day just sitting there (perhaps having been first to the chiropodist at Harvey Nicolls) and, accordingly, my brother and I named it “the staring hall.” Harrods was a local store in those days - albeit an upmarket and large one. My mother popped in for her daily loaf of bread and, in summer, an ice cream, coated in chocolate and fashioned as a seated Teddy Bear. Happy Days! I wouldn’t be seen dead in what it has become over the past couple of decades.
I've never been to Harrods in my life so I ask this only out of pure curiosity; if you wouldn't be seen dead in Harrods, where would you recommend as an alternative?
@@RevantuZ It is hard to say, they all lack a comfortable atmosphere. Harrods is owned by an arab, Harvey Nicks by a chinaman. Perhaps John Lewis has the best approach being owned by the staff and you can get almost anything there.
@@RevantuZYes, it is a tricky one to answer these days - but I agree any John Lewis is about as good as it gets. Peter Jones - their flagship store on Sloane Street - being the best of the bunch.
We went to the cafe’ at Harrods and the attitude of the young members of staff there was very frustrating. Displayed the attitude of resentment when having to serve. We sat there eating for about 30 minutes when two older members of staff arrived and the whole atmosphere changed. Much better . . Standards have really dropped at Harrods.
I am astounded by the sheer volume of each unique and fresh item available. Do they really sell these quantities daily, only to prepare everything anew the next day? The sheer effort involved in crafting such a diverse array of items must be nothing short of monumental.
I wonder if near close of business they discount it or do they give to charity? I heard places like Marks and Spencer, Prett, Costa etc don't throw out food because of people going through the rubbish and possible law suits.
Watched all way through. Enjoyed all of it. Harrods need to pull their fingers out serving low score items. Probably relying on tourists who may never get the chance to revisit 🌷
Is there really such a demand that all those food items are going to be purchased within days? I mean, I've never seen so much food that has to be consumed in a timely manner! What an amazing store!
You were in one of my favourite places in London. I love, love, love Harrods food hall and Fortnum and Mason’s . I’m not a truffle fan. Love caviar, but cantafforsit. 😵💫. The cheese counter is my favourite. 💜💜💜
I've had the pleasure of shopping at Harrods only once while we were visiting from the States. As we went through the perfume department, there was a young gentleman spraying perfume on a Harrods hankerchief and offered it to my husband. Being a typical male, my husband refused it. The young man told my husband this, "Sir please take it or you will upset her (me)and live to regret it." It is oneof my favorite memories of shopping in London.

I can believe it! I went to Harrod’s years ago and in the food hall at one of the bakery bits I was standing waiting and the staff were just in a huddle chatting and took ages to come over to serve me, then when the guy finally did he had such an attitude on him! I honestly don’t know his problem was but it was almost like how dare I want to buy a cake from his display! I think the customer service in Harrod’s really lets it down to be totally honest and especially in the food hall, I don’t even think their food is that nice, it’s definitely a case of style over substance!
We were in London a week ago and thanks to you, bought items for dinner from Harrods' food hall because of your previous videos showing glimpses. After a day of touring, we were beat and it was great to just grab something to take back to our hotel and unwind. However, coming in the evening left us with many fewer choices because things had sold out. As a comment on the roast beef and horseradish sandwich, yes it is enormous, and my husband ended up saving half for breakfast. We also found some of the workers were just blah and acted like they wished we would go away, while others were friendly and just lovely. And it was very busy!
“Get your foiler out. It looks a bit rubbish.” And, with that, we were off on an epic shopping vlog that was really delightful and so crammed with lush visuals and wonderful critiques from you. Thank you for the honest opinions, some of which were very funny (especially the food ratings). I’m so glad you got yourself some decadent chocolates. You surely deserve them. Thanks again. You made my week!
Wages at Harrods were really low in the early '80s. I was thinking about applying but realised l'd earn more in my local Sainsbury's where I was already working. Staff might still be underpaid, so not happy
@@jennycording2032 In the UK, the employer paying the highest wages to their floor staff among the options you mentioned is Harrods, which is known for paying premium wages to reflect its luxury retail environment. While exact numbers for Harrods are not always disclosed, it is typically ahead of mainstream supermarkets and fast-food chains. Among the supermarkets, Asda offers some of the highest hourly wages, with rates recently rising to £12.04 per hour for store employees nationwide, and up to £13.21 per hour in London. Tesco and Sainsbury’s follow closely, with pay rates around £12 per hour nationally and slightly higher within London - reported the Retail Gazette, and Grocery Gazette. Thus, Harrods tends to outpace others like Tesco, Sainsbury's, and McDonald's in terms of pay for floor staff. Nevertheless, if one chooses to work for an employer that they feel doesn't compensate them as much as they would like, they have the option to seek employment elsewhere else to improve upon their skillset in order that they may land a better paying job ... and in the meantime they should suck it up!
This is a Hannah All-Star video. And 49 minutes? Far better than any movie. That rare Roast Beef & Horseradish on Ciabatta would easily be $22 in Manhattan. £10 is a steal.
@@bodyloverz30 There's an excellent classic diner in Manhattan that I frequent. One of my favorites is a hot open turkey over white bread. Comes with potato, veggie and soup. Was $18.95 last week. Went to order this week and it was $24.95. No thanks. Won't be going there again.
@@hoppysport2872 You also have to remember cost of living, everything here is getting so so expensive with wages being really poor and not rising at all really over the last 5/6 years. Average salary is around £30-35k so £10 is still pricey !!
Thank you *Hannah.* I have been nodding along with your video and thinking “that’s a fair price” or “WOW! What a bargain” over so many of the things you showed us. I hadn’t quite realized how ridiculously overpriced our groceries have become lately in my area (Pacific Northwest USA) that a *Harrods* haul seems like a reasonably priced option!
Smiles and being nice costs nothing and makes your day so much better. I enjoyed shopping at Harrod's but prefer not paying for a name and get food that feels like you get your money's worth. I can hardly wait until you are back to two vlogs a week. You are so delightful to show us around and your critique of things is very important. Rest and be well. Have a wonderful weekend and a safe week. See you next Friday, Hannah. Cheers!! 🙋♀🍊
Absolutely love the vlogs in Harrods. My Mum and I had a day in London in August and spent most of it in Harrods. You can literally spend the whole day in there, shopping and eating as we did and loved every second of it. I understand what you mean about the customer service in the food halls. I have experienced the staff being quite rude but it isn't the same in other departments in Harrods but which ever department that you are in you should be treated respectfully and with good manners. Harrods can let itself down with bad customer service, which should never be the case in such a premium department store, it should be the best in the world!
I'd rather go exploring a food palace like this than go shopping for clothes any day! It's really dazzling, all the beautiful displays & packaging & selections.
I was visiting one of our daughters in London 2011 - we had a lovely day out & went into Harrods at the end of the day & I was really looking forward to going to the cheese counter & discussing what cheeses to get but we stood there and were completely ignored for ages. We ended up going to the cheese shop at Gipsy Hill & had wonderful service. Thank you for your videos.

I'm 73. Back in the 1970s I was a young rich girl who shopped at Harrods. My fave in the food hall was their gala pie (long posh square pork pie) and smoked salmon. They did the loveliest smoked salmon. Prices were very high then, silly money, but I was rich so Ip could easily afford it. Once I saw a big chocolate easter egg for £1500. That's like £30k in today's money. Silly money for an easter egg. Everything in Harrods was excruciatingly dear, but all tip-top quality stuff. Then when Al Fayed bough Harrods I think the goods stocked in it went downhill. It turned from being very classy and upmarket to selling a lot of gaudy gauche stuff, with too much lower taste Asian influence. It watered down the top quality traditional elegant British stuff that upper class people liked. I've not been in Harrods for 40 years now. Do they still have dog kennels to board your dog in the basement whilst you shop?? I parked my poodle there often for a few hours whilst I spent loads of money on furniture, clothes, jewelery and food. The liveried doorman used to walk the dogs too. Fond memories of Harrods circa 1970s. I've still got my big green vinyl shopping bag with the Harrods logo on. Do they still sell them? Yes...fond memories indeed. Seeing this vid shows me how vastly its changed. X
I don’t care how big this Easter egg was or what brand it was, but £30K ?!?! 😱🤦🏻♀️ There are children dying all over the world from hunger and a chocolate egg to be worth 10Years of someone’s wage in economically undeveloped countries is absurd. No wonder this planet is in the state it is.
Not sure about your dates ma'am, if you are 73 then you were born in 1951 so you would have been in your 20's in the early 1970's. So not sure about being a 'young girl' in the 70's.
Thanks, for me in California, that was a treat. It was there with school long ago, in South Kensington, and had fantasies of returning every year. Funny when we get used to quality, but nice is always a good and respectable thing. It's good to work, even serving others and making them happy.
In the 1980's and 90's I worked for an Oil Company Vitol in the old Bowater House over the road from Harrods which was demolished and is now 1 Hyde Park. Back then my and my girlfriend at the time lived in Bayswater and we used to get our weekly shop in Harrods. We got Meat\Fish Veg\Salads etc, Just a normal shop and it was not expensive. Now its all high profit processed food.
It's Friday, I'm in love. Hannah, seeing that old school Illuminated globe up and down elevator sign made my day.👍 I am old enough to remember when they were in common usage. A long forgotten memory triggered. The salads look delicious! And the produce too! Those vintage tiles in the food court are really special. Something about a particular shade of Harrods green has an effect on me. Hannah, always putting so much effort into these vlogs. You are so valued and appreciated. A cook is needed to materialize in your flat at dinner hour. Until next time, dear lovely Hannah, do take care. ❤🌸🍀🍁

This is by far the cutest comment I read under a post. 😍 Love and Light to you from Amsterdam Holland, yes we love her too , although she far more nearby 😉💖
Hi Hannah. As always, loved this. I completely agree with you about the service in Harrods being patchy. I visit maybe twice a year and I always enjoy it but, honestly, as far as the food hall goes, while there are a few stand out options, I would hazard an opinion that M&S is far more consistently high quality across the board. I did take my 8 year old granddaughter to the toy floor in the summer though and we had an amazing staff member who actually boxed and ribboned her (fairly small) purchases for free! She felt very fancy 😂. On a side note for anyone who it’s relevant for, if you’re toy shopping in the heart of London, I’d advise skipping Harrods and Hamleys and heading straight to Selfridges toy department. Fantastic range and non ridiculous prices. Thanks for another great video 😊
I love whatever you choose to share with us. Regardless of what the food costs, if it doesn't taste good, it's not worth it. When I shop, I might go to 3 or 4 different places to get what I like.
Hannah, this is the best food shopping video you have done. Thank you. Today's retail service standards are at much lower level compare to the older days. Truly a sad trend.

People always complain that some fresh item seems very expensive on a shop shelf, but you have to remember that most "fresh" items don't last long, are hard to make, and mostly go unsold and thrown in bins... so when you buy one plastic pot of strawberries, you are basically paying for the other ten identical pots that were made, unsold and thrown out... eg how much to make 20 pots, divided by how many sold on average = price for one pot, so when they sell 4 pots only, it covers cost of all 20!
I think Harrod's used to be ALOT more of an experience back in the day, I remember walking around in the 80s like a wide eyed child (I was in my 30s) and doormen opened the door, ALL the staff said hello and smiled, and the items for sale you couldnt find anywhere else...these days I think its almost like a tourist attraction. You can tell that lady selling the sweets really loves her job, Harrodes needs more people like her

When I was 19 (back in 1980!) I was a nanny for an American family, living in Chelsea, and every week I would go with the lady of the house to Harrods to do her food shop! I loved it and but was always astonished at the cost of her weekly trolley load!! The problem I had was that I was a very picky eater and the family meals were not to my liking at all! I would have been extremely happy with just the beige bits!!
That's so funny! When I was a child my grandmother who lived in the country got butter straight from a dairy. I was used to eating diet margarine and thought it was horrible. Would love it today!
When living in London, i used to go to Harrods for a nice food and for the impeccable service. Back then it was guaranteed to you! I am sorry to hear things have changed for the worse. But i am happy M&S is doing well. I used to do my weekly shopping there. Their chicken Kiev, butter croissants and lemon muffins i am still dreaming of!
Long ago I handed in an expenses receipt from Harrods to my boss (black coffee and apple crumble) - he was outraged and went red in the face. "Harrods?! HARRODS?!!!" 😡 😆
Oh Hannah, loose leaf is so much more satisfying and delicious. Just get yourself a special mug with a top hat style strainer (the bigger the space for the tea the better so the leaves can open up) one teaspoon of tea leaves, then pour your hot water in like you would a teabag. Let it brew for 3-5mins depending on if it’s black tea or green tea. Take out the strainer and enjoy. OR a get your French press that you have for coffee, pop in one teaspoon of tea leaves, hot water in like you would usually. Then leave it brew and if it’s glass you’ll see the leaves all open up. Then pour like you would coffee from a French press. And the leaves are so strong you can get a second pouring. So just add in hot water again. You will start to love it! Keep the tea leaves out of direct sun light and heat (keep in tin) Try it 🤍
Hannah I agree with you 100% about the roller coaster of attitudes. One thing I must say though is every time I view your videos I feel a nice sense of happiness coming over me. Keep up the great videos! Steve
I feel your pain re the customer service. I think I commented on your last Harrods food hall video with the exact same experience. The customer service was SO bad and the people didn't even speak English very well. That tells me a lot about how the company treats the employees. If they treated them better and paid well they'd be able to provide the premium customer service the paying customer deserves. Especially when the prices are so over the top. Funny thing I had exactly the same experience with the lady at the chocolate counter. I think it was the same one. Such a wonderful person. BTW I'm still shocked that Harrods doesn't offer gluten free options. I mean these days many cafés and tea rooms in British small towns and villages offer gluten free options for gluten's sake! 😠
It is Hannah Friday and I'm ready to see all the places you go to especially if it has food and i hope you have a marvelous weekend take care and Thank You Lady Hannah.☕👋🇬🇧
So hear you Hannah….so sick of cooking and meal planning. Did not know 45 years ago when I married that I would be in charge of what everyone ate for the rest of my life.😕 BTW, really enjoyed the tour of some else’s cooking and serving.😊
We had been to Sainsbury in Oxford Street and had a couple of large branded bags. We had got to the second floor at Harrods when we approached by a member of staff who suggested that my bags looked as if they might break and here are nice large Harrod's bags to put them in. I did enjoy the tea and coffee counter, made better by getting my brother-in-law who worked there to get the staff discount Over 300,000 people visit Harrods each day. There are around 3,500 staff. When there was a bomb scare and the building evacuated people poured out blocking the entrance to the tube and the streets around.
Thank you for bringing back great memories! I visited Harrods food hall on my regular business trips from US to London and loved a few morsels of hand made chocolates.
Thankfully, the lady behind the chocolate counter proved that there are some nice people who can be friendly, helpful and polite. I enjoy looking at different foods but am I alone, in having to raid the fridge whilst watching?? Lol. It was those lovely looking crab cakes that broke me! I paused the show and cut a big wedge of mature cheddar!
You're absolutely right Hannah, good professional courtesy should be the norm, especially in Harrods, it's suppose to be an amazing experience. Like you much prefer M&S there staff are pleasant too. Great video 👍 x
Raises hand, I am lazy along with you! Some times it is just nice to not have to cook or even think about what to make for dinner. I love your vids... thank you for sharing your trips around London,it is just so positive and helps to alleviate what is being shown in the media about England right now. I don’t know what else, but squid ink is used to color pasta dough, most often fettuccine is the pasta one finds colored with squid ink. Love watching your videos.
Love the tea section and the cakes! Loose leaf is perfect, you can use as much or as little as you like and there are really cute ways of filtering it into your cup these days, if you don’t want to use a pot and strainer.
I have not been in Harrods in years and from your video its seems to have gone down a notch from my last visit. When I was in London, a stop at Harrods in the afternoon for something to go with my coffee ( I know I’m American) was always a pleasant treat. As far as service, I was always treated properly whether it was the food hall or any other part of the store. I always admired their service and hospitality. Enjoyed the channel and I did subscribe. 😊
My favourite shop in the world! Had a cousin that was a chef there and we lived a few streets down. I'm surprised you could film in there when Al Fayed owned Harrods photography wasn't allowed. Love it!
I enjoy watching you in Harrods and the likes, and I enjoy watching you in any store, you give your honest opinion on all of it and showing that, once in a while, you can pamper yourself with nice things.
I enjoyed the visit to the Harrods Food Hall. What a staggering amount of food to choose from. The question I now have is what happens to all that glorious food that doesn't sell? I truly hope they are feeding starving people and not just throwing it out like rubbish. Anyways, love the video Hannah, you are such a treat to watch from the US. Blessings.
I was thinking the same thing. Is all the fresh baked and prepared food replaced each day? Is there sell buy dates on all the package foods? Seems like a lot of expensive food in those display cases and people aren’t exactly waiting in line to buy them.

Food prices seem to be higher around coastal regions. My sister lives in Jersey and always says how much cheaper it is in the mid west.

We have a subscription with Misfits food, it’s actually really great, the food is great, and the only thing wrong is that it’s food that other stores have too much of, have minor imperfections, or are close to Best Buy date.

Happy Days! you have obviously never been to Tokyo, where an apple - in a similarly elegant store - will set you back 5 quid.

I really appreciate your honesty. Just bc something is expensive doesn’t mean it’s luxury and/or quality
Hannah, this is the best food shopping video you have done. Thank you. Today's retail service standards are at much lower level compare to the older days. Truly a sad trend.
Fridays are usually the best BUT Hannah makes them amazingly good. I look forward to your videos all week. Thank you. You ROCK.
(42:00) The man watching Hannah was thinking she looks just like Hannah Ricketts, his favorite London vlogger!😊Thank you Hannah Ricketts, my favorite London vlogger, too!🌺⭐

Oh my goodness. Hannah I adore you. The way you express yourself is spot on for the way I speak. Love your videos. You are a bright spot of my week.
You can tell that lady selling the sweets really loves her job, Harrodes needs more people like her
It really doesn't sell anything nowadays that you can't find anywhere on the high street ect.
Thank you for your honesty Hannah. I agree, crap is crap.
Thank You Hannah for taking us around Harrods interesting!
My grandma was a tea drinker and only used tea leaves and a tea pot. It’s extra work and mess but it tastes so much better.
Me to, also my brother and mother. We were brought up with loose tea leaves.
Loose tea is much better than bags, you need far less leafage for a brighter, more intense flavour.
I do this now, and I’m not a grandmother.
@@Happyheretic2308loose tea for me . Always better quality and flavour. Some tea bags (prob not Harrods) are just tea dust. (I'm not a grandma either!!!!)
The second brew is always better
My first view of your films and what a treat. Your down to earth polished performance is attractive and your honesty of the produce just makes me watch more. I can’t afford to shop at Harrods all the time but just occasionally it’s a fabulous treat. Thankyou
Hannah you are my favorite uk tour guide ,and it was nice of chocolate lady made your eyes 👀 sparkle , just ignore the evil 👁️ eyes ❤❤🎉😊
That sounds like a very interesting job!
@@sharonsmith583 😂 real butter definitely tastes off if you’re used to margarine. I remember that as a kid 😊
I remember my God Mother got her cigarettes sent from Harrods
@@ShakirahIbaad Margarine tastes like grease if one is used to fresh salted organic butter {Maybe your butter WAS off? }
I LOVE your HONESTY Hannah and your videos are so natural and lovely. :) XXXX
Every single thing looks so beautiful fresh and delicious.
Long ago I handed in an expenses receipt from Harrods to my boss (black coffee and apple crumble) - he was outraged and went red in the face. "Harrods?! HARRODS?!!!" 😡 😆
😂😂😂😂😂
Good for you enjoying yourself 😂
Oh my, it’s only coffee and apple crumble! Imagine his face if it’s truffle lobster sandwich.
Keep the tea leaves out of direct sun light and heat (keep in tin)
Try it 🤍
10:32 For me it's those Charlie Bigham meals that say serves 2 and i read it and chuckle as I toss a couple into my basket.
It is Hannah Friday and I'm ready to see all the places you go to especially
if it has food and i hope you have a marvelous weekend take care and
Thank You Lady Hannah.☕👋🇬🇧
So hear you Hannah….so sick of cooking and meal planning. Did not know 45 years ago when I married that I would be in charge of what everyone ate for the rest of my life.😕 BTW, really enjoyed the tour of some else’s cooking and serving.😊
We had been to Sainsbury in Oxford Street and had a couple of large branded bags. We had got to the second floor at Harrods when we approached by a member of staff who suggested that my bags looked as if they might break and here are nice large Harrod's bags to put them in.
I did enjoy the tea and coffee counter, made better by getting my brother-in-law who worked there to get the staff discount
Over 300,000 people visit Harrods each day.
The chocolate lady was professional and nice 👍
Yes excellent service😀
Thankfully, the lady behind the chocolate counter proved that there are some nice people who can be friendly, helpful and polite. I enjoy looking at different foods but am I alone, in having to raid the fridge whilst watching?? Lol. It was those lovely looking crab cakes that broke me! I paused the show and cut a big wedge of mature cheddar!
@@toniswift6058 very natured cheddar is good
@@AGNETHAFALTSK0G Mature cheddar is my favourite go to... Hungry, happy or sad! Lol. 👍
You're absolutely right Hannah, good professional courtesy should be the norm, especially in Harrods, it's suppose to be an amazing experience. Like you much prefer M&S there staff are pleasant too. Great video 👍 x
Thank you for all your wonderful videos and take care
Thank you so much for this full review! It's really, appreciated Hannah :)
Raises hand, I am lazy along with you! Some times it is just nice to not have to cook or even think about what to make for dinner. I love your vids... thank you for sharing your trips around London,it is just so positive and helps to alleviate what is being shown in the media about England right now. Much aloha from the Big Island of Hawai'i 🐒🌺
I don’t know what else, but squid ink is used to color pasta dough, most often fettuccine is the pasta one finds colored with squid ink. Love watching your videos.
Your wander through the food hall made me salivate for... Aldi prices 😊
Love it!
Hannah you always seem to be having a great time. Thanks😊
I just want to say thanks Hannah. Huge respect for having a job and making the best vlogs there is. As a foodie I love a mooch in Harrods. x
Thank you so much!!
Like your videos so much ... thank you ... they give such interesting perspectives !!
Probably gets sold to local hotels and restaurants or recycled.
Hannah.. I am not sure how many Harrods food court vlogs you have done over the 5yrs I have been following you, but I never get tired on them! Thanks for another fun vlog.
This is why you have a following Hannah because you are not pretentious and down to earth . Never change !!
I love the little bits of shade she delicately tosses in her narratives.
Last went to London in 1997 and went to Harrods then. Loved your video because now I can see what's available at Harrod's 😊 . Feels like I'm shopping there.
Hi Hannah. I have been binge watching your videos lately. I’m so hooked! They are very entertaining and like everyone is saying, love your personality! Your videos are so much fun to watch. Hopefully, I can visit some of the places you’ve shown especially the ones for afternoon teas and Hamstead. 💕
So many memories for me when I lived in London. Lived in St. John’s Wood. Harrod’s is great during Christmas time. Thank you for this. Cheers!
Yes, we are all hungry right now. Thank you for the treat.
