Rabea sits down with Russ and Ryan for an in depth discussion about his hand in developing the Victory VX Kraken MKII. He demonstrates the MKII's new features, including two channels of gain, presence control, assignable dual master volume, rear bias outputs and a gain 1 balance control. As with all Victory products, the Kraken MKII is designed, and hand built in England.

Thanks for having me guys ❤
Our absolute pleasure!
We are taking out out kraken v4 pedals on tour next week for 44 dates, love them!! Rabea is a great guy and a great representative for these killer amps
Rabea is the GOAT!!
Cool video - It's so refreshing to see real gear. Every show I see now is just Axe fx unit line into the snake with triggered drums and no open stage mics except vocals. Esoteric instruments and personal sound control is something irreplaceable, that has all but been replaced. Keep up the great work Cheers!!
I use my Kraken V4 Amp for my jazz and blues cover band. It really is that versatile. Channel 1 can do absolutely anything.
So cool to get the inside scoop on the R&D for products like this. Great playing from Rabea as always!!
Man that crunch channel sounds beautiful... Very dynamic
Mastodon riffs too! Yay Rabea love it
Rabea is a really great dude!
Everything I wanted from a MKII!! 🤤
It sounds wonderful! 😊
Ok. Now I’m getting one
24:55 Perfection in playing and sound-wise!
I use a Victory Kraken V4 Preamp pedal for my gain stages going into the front of my amps and it really is like the man says, OD channel 1 is super versatile for anything from pushed cleans with the volume knob rolled down to gorgeous leads and rhythm tones and it works super well with my T style guitar. OD 2 is exceptional for leads and you can get some really nice thick chord work going in higher gain territory. They're not exactly cheap but they are really great sounding surprisingly functional amps in whichever form you can get your mits on.
I think I want one
Love my super kraken . One of my all time favorite amps. Can literally do anything
He's become "Rabea" - just like Cher. No last name nessesary.
EL6H34 solid state tubes
lee makes a nice amp.
I'm starting to think that channel 1 of my kraken ain't right - I never thought it had a lot of gain. 🤔
Awesome just bought one.. Which delay pedal is that dude?
UAFX DelVerb
"Delay and reverb..."
🤤🤤🤤
They killed the Mark II. For what it's worth, I dunno if it's enough to make me jump from My Mark I... That's an amp that every time I use it, I think to myself that it'll never leave. But damn this amp can give you FOMO.
Any ideas how to change between gain 1 and clean without the footswitch?
3 position toggle switch on the front
ah that makes sense.. Thank you@@michabien5321
Some Peter Jackson forced perspective going on in this vid. Or are these guys actual Hobbits compared to normal sized Rabea?
Omg, now that you mentioned it.... :-D
No midi is a deal killer.
Rjm amp gizmo
triple price vs mt15
Pricing on the new Kraken is ridiculous
This is 50W vs 15W for the PRS, has one more gain stage and more versatile switching options. It's also not triple but exactly double the price.
@@Pizvo in eu 1680 euros, 550 euros the prs few years before.... 15 W for the prs??? I play the drum in a metal band and I try to play as loud as I can => my guitar player are less than half power in the master of their mt15..... enough power on stage and for playing with a loud drummer.... spend your money as you want, you won't have a power issue with the prs mt15
@@MrDJELEDJE it's a tax thing since Victory is based in UK. It's cheaper in the US, as well as MT15 being cheaper in EU because it's imported straight from Asia.
It's loud enough for small gig, sure, but you get little headroom and a lot of compression. It's also not that good on larger venues, you can't power it enough to use a cab as stage monitoring. You also have to take into account that the Kraken is a professional signature amp Made in UK and MT15 is more of a small gigging/garage amp Made in China. It's brilliant for what it is, but there's a big difference in things like touring reliability and resell value.
I personally also use a loud 15W tube amp (Laney CUB Super 12) so i know very well what you can and can not do with it.
@@Pizvo So it's triple price for EU people... just saying....
1850€ ist just too much for such an amp, sorry guys this is just a money grab!
Rabea is terrific.....the other two guys are clowns. Would be a great video if those 2 voices were muted.
Id only shop with AMS if i was a communist.
