I played through a 100 watt Marshall Amp in a shitty rehearsal room in the Dockland area of London, it wasn't even a quarter way up and when I palm muted a riff the snare drum would tremble as if some one was playing a quite snare roll. The 100 watt Amp heads will take your head off the power is Awesome .

Excellent video as always and excellent guitar playing. I never really gave Victory products much notice or played on one....yet. But, after the drama coming out of KDH's arse. I am more intrigued and after further research I am considering a purchase in the future.

Can you guys do an extensive video on the Zoom g6 and the best ways to run this (directly into amp cab powered or non powered, directly into amp input, through effects loop, etc). I purchased this as a budget friendly option to maximize tone capabilities but I am struggling to get good sounds, I dont know if its how I am physically connecting this thing, my lack of understanding how to build up the effects in the device or what. All the videos I see on this are just reviews telling us that its a good value for the budget but there is nothing great out there on how we should be connecting it to amps or cabs. What a great opportunity for a "DIGITAL JOHN" moment!!! Also, great job, I love all of your videos, I find everything that you all do here very informative and you pump out a massive amount of content... keep on Rockin'!!!

I use the V4 Preamp of the Sheriff in combination with a V40 Duchess. The Sheriff sounds great from low to higher gain, especially if you also push the power amp of the Duchess and add a little bit of power amp distortion.
I just got a v4 sheriff preamp to couple with my v40 deluxe. How do you like it? Now that this was out I was thinking of going to this but I do love the cleans of the v40 deluxe.

These amps sound amazing. Sound very similar to the Friedman Smallbox.
You can physically see Lee getting more and more exhausted sitting opposite that speaker as the video progresses 🤣🤣
I moved from Victory to Friedman late last year and I was incredibly happy with both amps! I think if I were to go back to Victory, I would 100% do the super sheriff, I love how there are 2 different head sizes for the same amp. I love smaller amp heads as it’s easier to move between gigs.

Luv my Sheriff 22 at edge of breakup on the vintage channel, gain at 9 master at 12, but as Lee says, very loud for the house. As expected, these sound awesome with an LP. No pedals needed, just roll the volume. One thing, they do expose sloppy playing.
So true. I went from a year of playing plugins and such to a victory sheriff 44 and while the tone was top notch the amp showed that I was not 🤣

In light of the glowing appraisal of these (admittedly pretty excellent-sounding) amplifiers in this video, I think it is important to note that Lee Anderton is a part-owner of Victory Amplifiers. (As revealed in KDH's video on the subject).
bro it's a a store's marketing channel, lee and pete swoon over basically everything they demo. the only guy i've seen whose face lights up more when discussing behringer pedals is jhs.
and lol, pete has a signature amp with victory. if i were hiding my affiliation with an amp company i wouldn't be lurking around in the shadows with a purple amp.
@@MrNathanCurry Pete and the others always disclosed their affiliation - Lee didn't even tell once in ten years that he is the co-owner. That's a breach of business and advertisement laws.
Yea what most people dont get is that its illegal to not disclose this information because of advertising law when endorsing a product. I think the amps are gerat and not problematic but for him to act suprised like its his first time hearing it at times is also a just dishonest.

Who cares if they are invested or not? Listen to these amps, and look at all of the features they have. Multichannel, power scaling, more gain on tap etc etc... And I say this as a guy sitting in a room with three Marshall's, I'd buy a Sheriff over the Reissue and at the same price point.

you are so right! also, these amps are designed for gigging musicians who for example want the ability to change out a bad tube quickly. 4-8 screws and you can change them no problem...

I wish the 25 combo was a little less expensive. £1500 and I'd have to think about selling my V4 Sheriff I've had all of 6 weeks and some other gear to finance it.
The Sheriff is a great family of amps though. I like my V4 a lot!
The one thing that kinda sucks is that they tossed the 0.3w speaker out on the 25. It’s one of the best features on any lunchbox amp out there and if it had stayed I would totally replace my 22 for the newer version.
Honestly the master volume on the mk2 does take the amp down to home use volume levels, and if you really want to drive the power amp & keep the volume low then either the Bugera PS1 attenuator or the Two Notes Captor are great options...
@@andertons Depending on how low you really want to go (e.g. sub TV level) you may find that even the modern reactive attentuators don't do it for driving the power section of anything other than very low wattage amps. I have a Torpedo Captor and with my 15W amps and the line out set very low I often can't get past 7 on the master without artifacts creeping in. By he time you're at 10, it's a grate-y fuzzy mess. My 1W heads, on the other hand, I can max out the master/volume (whatever's driving the power section) and they sound excellent. Just a heads up.
So does this mean that one could theoretically use master one across the channels for rhythms and master two for lead volume boost and switch between what virtually is four channels for a bit of extra gain on the lead if needed or is there a catch with this? (like unmanageable differences in volumes between green/red and hot rod/vintage if one was to apply that approach). Would be really curious to find out. Thanks :))

As I am a victory amp user and have a couple of the lunch box corium heads. I realize that they are PC board construction and unfortunately they have not been the greatest time I’ve had but I like the tones. I think the victory 22 is a better built than the victory 25 and someways not because everything works on the 25 but the 22 had more of the vintage tones I was actually looking for, however, this sheriff 100 as concert and gigs are starting up now. Seems like a great option and I read the specs showing that it is wired now in my victory 22 it had hand wired tube sockets otherwise the rest was all PCB construction sheriff, 25 again all PCB board construction, no hand wiring and no hand wired valve sockets is this amp truly hand wired and if so, what parts what kind of transformers are used and why are these details not published I am all for you owning as much of victory as you want. I’ve said this in another comment, but I do wish you guys would disclose more about the internals, especially when it comes to saying this is a hand wired amp because I’ve got, two Friedmans that cost a whole lot more money to get a hand wired 100 W head than what you’re charging here and that makes me have some serious concerns. Could you please respond with a update on the information I seek as far as the internals of the super sheriff, if not, I know what’s inside the Friedman because they open boxes on other videos. This one I have not been able to see or have describe to me. What was inside of it. I am a totally blind guitarist. follow your channel and enjoy it very much, and as people may be harsh on you for a victory like I said, I hope you on the whole company and make a zillion dollars as long as you treat me fair. I don’t care and I think every other customer in this world and every other business owner should be that way people see a good product for a fair price. If you can do that and offer them the quality and sounds they want then you should get the business but you shouldn’t get the business if you can’t disclose to me the transformers, the quality what parts are wired what parts are not to board or point to point please details would help me a great deal and making this next purchase and it would save me money to purchase your product over the Friedman, but I won’t save money if it’s quality and amplifier thanks 14:47 14:50 14:51 14:52 14:52 14:53 14:53 14:57

I was just about to buy an older Sheriff 22. I actually think I like the old model better. 🤔 Still, Danish Pete makes every amp sound good.
The OG Sheriff 22 is all I play since I got it two months ago. I went from 11 pedals down to 5 and use both the effects loop and channel switching unlike Lee. These new ones seem like they wouldn’t need an O/D pedal at all. I like to have my KOT to push the amp.
With the old series, I think the 44 sounds better than the 22. With the new, I prefer the 25 over the 100. I think the 25 sounds better than the 22 as well. The 22 sounds more boxy.
How do you think it compares to the Pink Taco V2?

I had the Sheriff 40 but I returned it, because if you turned your gain or master up or down at all you had to redial the tone knobs, totally frustrating. Too bad, I really wanted to like that amp.
Still hoping Victory finds some way to reintroduce the Silverback despite Chappers no longer being a Victory Artist, kinda like how they had the BD1 as a unChappers'd RD1.
It kinda sucks the BD1 isn't made anymore either. I believe both got discontinued when Chappers parted ways with Victory.
I liked it, almost like Victory made a boutique Tiny Terror.
