Got one of these a few hundred dollars off Man and love it got it for 1899 changed out EL 34 to KT 66 is and this thing rocks it’s a vintage modern want to switch the tubes and a hand wired one of that for a little over two grand even full price you can’t beat this head a great deal for the money. It’s truly 100 a2 price the Friedman Does definitely drive a bigger price and their presentations are definitely more intense, but this app is fantastic and it does run in 35 W mode which is great not 25 5:43
I love the sound quality of the victory head I like the power scaling down to 30 W that’s definitely makes this a great amplifier for any bar gig or otherwise truly the versatility is without a doubt amazing and supposedly this is a hand wired amp however, I also love the master volume Controls, you can almost get a Bedroom tone on this 100 W app when it’s in 30 W mode truly fantastic amplifier and with a cheap attenuator you can achieve any bedroom tones you want. My question is before I buy this. There are two different versions, a smaller and a little bit larger version I want to know what parts of this and what parts not and how does that impact the construction the sheriff 25 is also a good head but these compact heads inevitably for a musician that works full-time teaching and gigging they just aren’t solid for repair work and victory requires you to get one of those service centers anyway I have an amp tech and I have been told to stay away from These heads as much as I want to get my gear fixed I am hoping the hundred watt will be a better choice looking for any feedback deciding between this and the Friedman JEL 20 truly I can get as much out of that 20 as I can out of this because I already have an Xbox And a fry power station so it’s not like I can’t generate more volume as well as a Friedman small box 50 however I like this app want it can you please be honest with me about it thanks again great demo sounds killer 1:45
TBH, I picked up a used Blackstar HT Stage 100 from a studio that was closing down. Had the amp and cab (2 x 12 v30's) for £400. Best sound I've ever had.
Man this amp gets on with it. Been ready to get a Friedman BE-100 deluxe , this has me thinking.
