There's another creator I follow on here who has a patreon that charges per upload, so there wouldn't be quite the same pressure to keep posting all the time, might be worth looking at? This animation is great, I've heard the podcasts countless times but love seeing this new take on it

@@shaunj66 good call, patreon can be pretty draining, and social media trend of posting frequency leads to lower quality and burnout.
I love how expressive they are (especially Ricky) in these animations, there are none like it, not even the HBO series compares. Love all the easter eggs as well, laughed at the book of vague sayings and stuff in the background XD

the amount of detail and references in the background just make this whole animation 10000 times better, like how sometimes karl is wearing the “pilko pump pant” and the graffiti on the wall saying “micheal peters is gay” it’s brilliant.
Kinda wondering if the feller making these animations is Michael Peters and this is still him trying to come out.

Karl kicking his height, ‘Purple People Eater’ on the tape, ‘From the Woods to the Tees’ on the shelf, the kid in the wheelie bin, Karl’s calculator, Hugh Fay & Co’s ‘Pikelets’ sign above the trolley over the flooded grid, number 42 above the door at the end - every single reference had me cracking up 😂

They should do a sequel series for the HBO cartoon but for the XFM shows and this style is fantastic for that. So much love and talent in this, especially the countless references in the background, it's perfect. 10/10

I listen to XFM and the RG Show every night while sleeping so I know them backwards and forwards, love to see one where Karl is trying to describe Steve in a restaurant. The animation is really good.

i gotta say, most of the time when people animate a podcast it usually sucks a lot of the character out of the original sound bite cus like, it's a fans interpretation or whatever, but you breathe so much life into the source material with these animations that it feels like it was written for it instead of the other way round. literally SO much better than the HBO series, well done

Brilliant animation as usual. I’ve always thought ‘Spud Head’ wasn’t the real name Karl’s dad gave her; the way Karl says it, plus it’s really not that bad for Karl not to want to say it on air given the other things they’ve said. Guess we’ll never know

too many great references to list them all, but personal favorites: the shaded 'orse in the 'ouse. Boxerboy. Snip's and Victoria Plum. And that split second of Karl's brother driving past in his tank had me laughing out loud.
It's even better in the second viewing

I’m sure these take a looong time to make but please could you make more of you have it in you, they’re too good. They add even more humour and entertainment to already great audio. Even the sound official animations weren’t this impressive or creative
