    This was on the first season of evil. They had a RUclipsr set a challenge like 3 hours or something and there was a low frequency voice track under the music in a frequency only pre teens could hear so it didn't effect really young kids and not adults. The kids who heard couldn't stop humming the song and after an amount of time they would injure themselves, most injuring their ears. But again this wasn't a full frequency but a voice track at a certain tone only a certain age group hears. Fiction I know, but there are frequencies that exist in such a way where only certain people hear them. There's also mental health issues such as the people who can hear 'the hum' somehow these people are physically and mentally affected by being able to hear the electromagnetic pulse of everything and often end up resorting to self harm or suicide because not only does no one believe them but it never stops, day and night. They can't sleep, can't eat can't function and they just want it to stop.

    • @Aria.Inthavong
      @Aria.Inthavong  2 года назад +4

      Thanks so much for the thorough insight, DragonLady! I wasn't familiar with this challenge at all, that's really interesting! I don't know all the science behind how certain frequencies affect certain age groups, as well as their capacity to do damage to physical and mental health, but I believe I've heard that even the military has experimented in this field to look into ways of using frequencies as weapons (I think they're called sonic weapons?), so I think it's certainly possible! If this story were true, it's very chilling to think of how insidious the people that put it into the game would have to be.

    • @ladyravenvampire
      @ladyravenvampire 2 года назад

      @@Aria.Inthavong they are called Sonic weapons and while I think most may fall in the conspiracy theory pile. It's almost along the lines of 'if it exists there's porn of it' I feel like the same goes for this stuff. The military will use anything. Such as.... The brown note which I'm sure we've all heard of in some context. I think this might be a bit of an urban legend but supposedly the military experimented with a frequency now that is a really low base note that is supposed to basically cause anyone in front of that wave to have to release their.. Um... Bowels right there on the spot without control.
      Plus the animal kingdom is full of that sort of thing. Dog whistles for example, they can hear them at a super high pitch, we can't. And most elephant noises are so low we can't hear them. And are taste buds grow and change with us as we get older so why wouldn't our brains process sound differently along the line too? Not to mention just the difference between men and women alone. Women are hard wired to wake to high pitched cries, the sound of their babies or children. While men can usually sleep through it unless it's louder waking them up or some other reasons. So there's a lot that can go into this theory. But In the show I referenced, it was a set up, they gave her the music which did have a voice on it. The point is they are battling for demons to corrupt children. Unfortunately, they find out that they also have power over a fertility clinic. The show is only available on Paramount plus now unless you can hack it (which I'm sure you could, especially if the technically inept like me could) season three will drop someone this summer likely wrapping up in October like the last 2 seasons. I watch a lot of weird stuff real, fake and based on real. But recently I got sucked into another RUclips channel that dives into this weird stuff. Some is silly, some flat out ridiculous and some is creepy. Some I already know before they start explaining. It's fascinating and I've always been curious. So I end up with some way out there stories/theories. Thanks so much for writing back Aria! I used to be in your discord but I switched my phone but also couldn't keep up in there. But I love your videos and usually try to comment whenever I can. You do so much work great work.

    when I was a child, I played pokemon silver on GBC. some nights I could hear the pokemon theme of cities playing when I was in my bed about to sleep. I removed the batteries from my gbc and remove the cartridge from the back too. But I would still hear the pokemon theme music near me when I laid down on my pillow. It haunted me at night to the point that I couldn't sleep and was franticly looking for the source of the sound.

It PHYSICALLY hurt to listen to it and as I imagine listening to that for hours probably...playing a game...I can get how that can drive someone insane. Ash here! Some evidence from my essay: Symptoms caused by very low or very high frequencies include nausea, vertigo, blurred vision, unsteady movement, and difficulty reading, remembering, and thinking. Your body can feel the vibration of sound even if it’s not audible. These body vibrations cause irritability and fatigue and sometimes visions. There is also science proven fact of “fear frequencies” and “ghost frequencies”. In fact we use some of these techniques in the U.S. army. :) great video ♥️

      Yes but you need to have very good speakers to be able to hear them if they are inaudible for humans. Very few bare tv speakers cover ultrasound/infrasound range. I know that certain ranges of audible frequencies in the middle range supposedly do such disturbing.

The boy also stood up on the table, in what seemed like a trance, and then tried to jumped off. If this isn't creepypasta, the suicide part of the story can be that Japan has had high number of suicide cases for a long time already, especially with younger people. And if this happened in the 90s, mental health wasn't a recognized thing yet so they come up with stories why they must have committed suicide.
    So I feel like they might be a coincidence that they played Pokemon and they committed suicide. These children might have been bullied in school.
