Great video mate, I do love the fact that you don't just take you car to a garage and let them fit the parts. Also a very good idea to be around experts just in case you need them 👍 keep the videos coming mate 👌
Exactly right mate! I love getting stuck in and yes got the big boys at dub that can lend a helping a hand when needed too! 😊 Hope you’re well Martin! TW
FLATTAGE! I just did them after watching your video and am so happy with it. I also put lower front and rear chassis bracing + a strut bar. NOW the car handles like how I imagined it to.
Good interesting vid Tim. I was aware of the Powerfllex mods but not seen a vid on them before - thanks. From a ride comfort point of view do they make it any firmer?
Comfort wise it’s easily the same tbh..I think on our cars the springs/dampers make the most difference...the inserts just get rid of floatiness but a full harder bush replacement would deffo contribute to a negative ride imo
I suggest you to install the underbody brace bar as well. It's even easier to fit than the bushes. Great gain, especially if you are getting the LSD in the near future
Great video 👌 really good that You've done before and after video I'm really surprised how much the subframe moves stock with out the powerflex fitted . definitely getting this done to my M140i
Dont wana fit some of these to my car for a charge do you tim ? Seems your local to me i recognise the roads your driving. One of them looked like rye hill road ?
Yes mate! A box of the sub fronts and a box of the sub rears... Pop Marc a message or give him a call beforehand but links are correct for the m140i :) Hope you're having a great weekend! Please like and sub! TW
@@cardinalroma7495 i just ordered the black ones because some guys in the b58 forum highly recommended the black ones. I just hope that i dont get a lot of noises in the drivers cabine, because it is my daily and i dont drive any tracks, just want to get the rear end more stable!
@@TenPainHD I never had installed the black ones, just ordered them with the yellow ones and for me it was strongly better. I had more stability but I also mounted the back subframe. But maybe you say if you install the black ones that there are better ! Let me your experience know :)
Nicely done Tim, looking forward to meeting you at Bedford, can discuss mods and feel free to take a few laps in my car to see what you think, similar mods just a bit more 👍
Tim Williams yeah similar, mines now got purple subframe bushes, black diff bushes, rear under body brace, front strut brace, Eibach springs and adaptive struts. M4 LCA’s and 255 rear tyres.
Anthony h yes there is a little noise from the diff that is auditable now, however I have now fitted the stock front diff bushes back in and it’s now just like stock. So purple series subframe bushes and black series rear diff Bush but keeping the OE front diff bushes seems like the perfect set up 👌
Great vid as always, just a suggestion, might be worth putting in an approx time to add the mod for those who wanna go ahead with this etc... i.e this mod takes like 2 hours.
I wouldn’t know how long bro, I film it so it slows me down quite a bit and I did mention in a previous video that I try not to be used as a tutorial video but more of an informative approach as I don’t want the blame if things go wrong 😆

Wicked! Will look into it!! 🙏🏽

Yeh mate, they deffo firm up the rear to reduce floatiness when going at it! Williams Performance for the win!
@@TimWilliamsHD yeah i know exactly what you mean. I will grab a set from Williams performance . Cheers

No chance bud, gg autos in Southend is who you want! 😄 would never work on someone else’s car, thanks for the trust 😄
Nice vid good explanation on the fitting , do these change the wheel alignment at all
Nah mate not in my opinion, nothing was adjusted in terms of the wheel geo
Hi Tim, I presume you only purchase one of each of the links you put here from Williams performance? TIA

Marc at Williams Performance is brilliant mate, great company to order from, definitely know there stuff
Does it make a lot of noise
Nope, yellows are fine and so are blacks to be honest
Hello :)
Do you compared the black one vs the yellow one ?
Which is better ?
would also like to know
@ I got the yellow one in the meantime and they are perfect !
@@cardinalroma7495 i just ordered the black ones because some guys in the b58 forum highly recommended the black ones. I just hope that i dont get a lot of noises in the drivers cabine, because it is my daily and i dont drive any tracks, just want to get the rear end more stable!

Another quality video! Would you recommend pairing these with the M4 LCA’s?
Oooh good question, can’t go wrong with extra camber!!
Hello mate, Where did you find the torque diagrams from?
Had these fitted on my MK6 GTD, the vibration on start up and idle is horrific!
Ah there’s no NVH on BMW’s only positives tbf
@@TimWilliamsHD what do you mean?
@@has7383 nvh means noise volume hardness, he basically said that there was no increase in any of those things only positive things.
Why would rear subframe bush inserts cause terrible vibration on idle. I think your talking about engine mount tie bar ,totally different thing.

avalaugh1980 deffo!! Be good to see how the brace feels cos we may have a similar setup .. soon 👀

avalaugh1980 hello mate, with the purple inserts do you now have a lot of NVH and with the diff insert I’ve read a lot about differential whine/Noise?
Anthony h yes there is a little noise from the diff that is auditable now, however I have now fitted the stock front diff bushes back in and it’s now just like stock.

Is the install same with xdrive?
I’d guess so, but don’t quote me mate haha
Where did you get those exhaust tips?
